- In this video I show you the method to try to make a clean wire management with a lot of wire quickly.
And some hack to make it easy and "fun" to do.
Interested in one of them? check on Etsy or Ebay with my name and/or by search "PS2 region free".
Also you can leave me comment here or a mail : youtube@gusse.fr
OST for this mod is MF impeccable !!!! ❤😅
damn i wish all my slims i have here were compatible with these ide mods. It looks like such a fun install to do, i'm already good enough at modchipping that i want to do more challenging and rewarding mods. Good vid, thanks for sharing!
Gusse the music is like a Disney movie hehe
I don’t remember which ost is it 😅
awesome as always
Why didn't you just go for a m.2 card in it? There's space for the half Physical size.
What country are you located in and how often do you come across SCPH-700xx GH-035-xx motherboard variants? The ones with the combined CPU and GPU.
I'm in France, and not very often
Hey, love the video, but do you have any diagrams? I'd love to do this mod to my PS2 but I don't understand this video enough.
@@matthewbenchea hello ! Thank you ! I do essentially for entertainment, you can find diagram on google by searching something like : ps2 slim hdd install
Also, you can check my other video (the one linked in description for instance) that show you the way to do the same mod with a flex cable that I made and you can find on my website Gusse.in .
It’s more easy and fast to do, but less fun to do 😉
@@Gusse Thanks a lot! :)
how am i going to learn if your putting me to sleep with symphonic dragon warrior music lmao
good afternoon how to install hd ide on ps2 slim scph-75001 the motherboard is GH-040-12
hello ! in my knowledge, it's not possible to install IDE HDD on SCPH75xxx. Only SCPH70xxx (v12/13) can support this mod due to the presence of the IDE controller on motherboard
@@Gussegreat tutorial but you didn't post a link to the wiring diagram. Will love to also do this. Kindly post a link for the wiring diagram. Cheers
@@abrahamadekanye5714 hello !
it's really easy to find on Google, check here : www.badcaps.net/forum/troubleshooting-hardware-devices-and-electronics-theory/troubleshooting-game-consoles-other-weird-devices/108952-anyone-here-tried-the-ps2-slim-resurrector-ide-hack
@@Gusse thanks for your quick response, can finally try this out, use to own a network adapter installed PS2 and running games of the hdd was fast and lag free. Ur sd to ide flex would be the ideal solution but I am from Africa and buying the flex is to expensive and unrealistic for the project. I will chk the link out and see if I can replicate ur video, I am not to shabby at soldering. Thanks and cheers
What is the plastic device for organizing lines?
Where can I get it?
I have printed them, but for now it's obsolete with iDE Resurrector, but check comments below, I have shared the link for 3D print them if you want
Will this work with a SCPH79001?
unfortunately nope, but MX4SIO does awesome job or sharing via network in OPL is awesome too if you have a NAS
Hola Gusse.
@@MrPedroteruel do you have pictures of your setup? are you sure of all your welds?
@@Gusse si.estoy bastante seguro, las hago y reviso con microscopio. Podria hacer fotos pero no sé como hacertelas llegar.
@@MrPedroteruel estupendo ! puedes encontrarme en twitter o por e-mail

Hey. Great job. I'm interested in the 3D Printed cable management. Would you be willing to share your STL file so I can also print it and test it out?
hello !
you can find them here, it's not a great evolution, but please credit me if you use or re-destribute.

@@Gusse Sure thing. Thank you! (I ended up making my own in the meantime, but will try yours too if I ever make another attempt since these are much nicer)
@@robinshengames just small précision, I print them with a 0.2mm nozzles if I remember, and print slowly, if the print is good, the wires can't overlap in hole
does it support ps1 ISOs?
Via popstarter in opl
Could you please send me the diagram to modify it for 9000x Ps2.
SD mod is not compatible with SCPH900xx (no IDE controller on mother board, only SCHPH700xx).
By the way, you can find modchip diagram on my website: gusse.in/ps2-modchip-diagram-and-resources/playstation-2-scph900xx-v17-v18-modbo-installation-diagram/
What type of wire do you use?how many awg?
Kynar AWG 30 is the best for this type of installation
@@Gusse thanks.. keep it up...
Impossible to do for me :(
😥 maybe this one with flex is more accessible : ua-cam.com/video/ZB05cdnxNgE/v-deo.html
"ODE-like"? Idk, man.... That's kinda like calling a bicycle "car-like" just because it has wheels and you can ride it down the road. 🤣
How much would you charge for me to send you my ps2 so you can do the mod
hello, here is my mail masgusse@gmail.com to talk about that ;) (I remove this comment after I get your mail ;) )

Why did u delete my comment??
Keep in mind that what u said about using modchips is not a good idea, most modchips have ATAD patchers that affect OPL negatively
I don’t delete any comment guy, I don’t know what happen, but I have just post reply on your comment, no more …
Please post it again, it’s about freemcboot and link to psx-palace.com if I have good memory, and have just answer you it’s not the only way to launch app from hdd 😉
