It also takes a little more time and work on the front end (although it pays dividends down the road) so it requires a little shift in training models also. Most manufacturers offer BPW configs: Apex/Aqualung, Hollis (Huish), Scubapro, Zeagle, and many others- but their retail floor and rental fleet would need to migrate also- which could be done in one season. Not having to have so many size rentals would ultimately save some $ in the long run, too! So a little pain now for much less later.
