I've never had that much issue with em, and I can buy a set locally for $29. More often, I see weight belts pushed out of place or off by heavy gear. I think your own argument about task loading undermines your video. Use what you're comfortable with, and what's safe.

I just recently came across your channel so I’m catching up on episodes - great stuff!. Put me on Team Rescue. Advanced OW was good for getting in a few extra dives, but the ‘Adventure’ dives were nothing more than free sample to get you to buy the course. Proper buoyancy comes with experience, not through a course. Rescue Diver, on the other hand, was a game changer since it taught not only self-awareness but also appreciation for your role in other diver’s safety, i.e diver assist, CPR, O2 administration, etc. I think it’s hands down the best course for non-professional divers. Dive Safe!

That's gotta be very discomforting. However(as im sure you guys knows) charter boat captains, especially in the more remote locals of the world, not only arent always dive masters, but don't dive at all, and much of their "knowledge" is based solely on overhearing diver conversations, with little to no context or understanding.

I always dry a cup with air while keeping port closed with my finger, why the heck i need to go somewhere and look for towel if i have a cylinder with air. You just don't have to open valve at full blast, just a bit. If it's annoying anyone, I'm sorry- you just have to live with it 😂😂

Why are divers so offended by other divers by doing this. It works and perfectly safe especially if you have an acd device on the first stage.

We need to educate the dive masters about teaching students from doing that. I know some instructor today who teach that way. Just like turning the tank valve back a 1/4 when fully opened and that goes back to the 1960’s with the pillar valve
