Of all the jumps, this is the one that gives the most problems early on. Easy to do, easy to get wrong. In my Beginners competition, out of a field of 31 only one girl got her toe-loop called, and she got a -3 on it. The rest of us all got the Double Chevron of death!
@@iskatecoach I hope so. I think I learned this jump wrong many years ago and just can't seem to unring the bell, despite understanding how it should be done correctly. I am struggling with getting my foot to slide past the toe pick - it's on a solid outside edge, I can feel the foot sliding, and everything "feels" A ok. But reviewing footage, my foot is somehow sliding towards my toe pick, rather than past it. It does my head it. I am getting ostensibly more "advanced" jumps called, but not the toe loop. 😭
This was so great. Moving the arm before hitting the toe pick, the "knee action" of the 3 turn 😘🤌 i can't wait to apply these tomorrow and make my jump even stronger! Thanks coach! P.s. i agree what others are saying about the camera work, maybe give some pointers to the person filming
Great explanation! But the camera person was often too close and filming your face instead of your feet.. also a part that is in slow motion would be great too just to have a step by step. The speed adjustment here on youtube is not ideal
Thanks, excellent explanation. Just a suggestion to the person filming, they should back up more so we can follow your foot work better.
Yes, it was a little closer than I’d of liked I hope you can still get the idea.
One of the best toe loop jump videos on UA-cam!thank you!
Thank you 🤩

Yes tricky to get correct at first and also understand. Once you have the right feeling though it tends to stick
