@@Mel-zy1qu frrrr I usually feel overwhelmed when it comes to makeup bc there are so many options and products out there anymore. Thank you for this. I'm 46 and kind of gave up on wearing makeup when the pandemic hit and I started working from home. The thought of putting on a full face of makeup feels overwhelming to me now. I'd love to see a part two incorporating some foundation.
I’ve watched several of the top MUA videos for years and recently found your channel. I must say you are very talented and an excellent teacher. I’ve learned a lot of new techniques and products.
I’ve been a huge make up lover for most of my life and I am 51 and just for fun I followed this tutorial step by step with you this morning and my makeup looked amazing!!!!! It came out soft natural and just perfect for this fall day!!!! As always thank you I learn something amazing with every video you post ❤
I NEVER comment but this video is just so helpful & PERFECT for actual non-makeup/beginner-makeup people! I love that you explained why your step, techniques, especially the products you used and you actually stuck to your title of the video!! Compared to all the other no-makeup makeup tutorials this beats it all!! Best tutorial I’ve ever watched (from countless others because they just show you & don’t explain why & it irks me because I want to know why their technique/product is “better”). So thank you so much for this video & I’m DEF gonna rewatch & follow your advice + buy the products you shared!!
Coming back a week after watching this to say thank you. This video made me excited to give make up another try. After being part of the beauty guru era in the early 2010s I lost my passion for makeup once I started working full time. Putting on a full face so early in the morning just didn't fit my new routine, so it's been mainly just mascara and a bit of concealer. This routine is really accessible and elevates my look in a subtile way. Also: I looove the products you recommended, I ordered a bunch of them while watching and wasn't this excited for a parcel in months.
I think this has to be my favorite video of yours!!! I’m that person. I don’t wear makeup, but I can watch someone else apply it all day long. I’m intimidated by it. Well, till you, I try and I can’t get it right, but with this video I think I may be able to. So thank you!! ❤
Thank you for this great video. I’m 70 YO and have always worn minimal makeup but I learned so much from this video especially treatment of the eyes. I appreciate all your recommendations and the time you spent on this video. ❤
I got this channel almost 8-9 months ago through YT recommendation and that was the best thing I've ever get from this platform 😭 Every little thing you point out, describe, teach us so flawlessly that we're learning little by little every single time. It means more than a lot 🙌♥️ Thank you so much for being friendly with us, giving value to your people 💌✨
Your tutorials are great. They are realistic to us non make up artists & not daunting. I struggle with a rosy/sensitive complexion, especially in Winter time. Putting just a little make up on gives me confidence & wakes me up :)
Nikki’s content and they way she makes her content is so much better then everyone else. She isn’t selfish with her time and really want to give us quality content, I’ve really noticed that about her. Appreciated ❤
It’s eerie that as the demo of this video not only did you just walk me through my own makeup routine, but with every single product I use verbatUM. Nailed it. I feel seen lmao
This is such a simple, natural and flattering routine to follow for those who don't like wearing sooo much make-up. The Nars matte concealer is also a favorite of mine & following your technique has made my application so much smoother. Thank you so much for this video!!
This is such an insightful video, thank you so much! I do just concealer and cream eyeshadow and struggle to learn as much when watching make up videos that do 10 steps. Thank you for explaining your reasoning behind every decision
👏 This might be my favourite makeup tutorial of all time lol. Exactly what I am after as someone who prefers minimal makeup, but have often fallen into the trap of unintentionally going overboard with products, or missing certain steps (like setting concealer). This demystified so much. Thank you!!
This makeup tutorial is truly life changing. I’ve never been comfortable wearing makeup and as someone who is almost 30, it felt pretty embarrassing to ask people around me for tips and tricks when it feels like they are all advanced and also they wear makeup everyday. I’ve been watching UA-cam videos for YEARS but none of them have ever explained the way you did. I followed the end tutorial and it was my first time getting an ACTUAL natural look and I felt so good and happy at the end of it, I almost teared up. The products you asked to skip and reapply are so accessible and because of this tutorial I can see myself having the confidence to explore makeup more. Thank you so much. You got yourself a new subscriber and fan.
This is probably the most well done makeup tutorial I’ve ever seen. I feel like I’ve learned more from this from the countless other videos out there. Thank you!
This is a great make up routine for anyone that wants to look put together especially for work but doesn’t want to look like they’re wearing makeup, I love it ❤
Great video - I'm on the struggle bus with makeup these days. Started trying to really redo my whole process several months ago and now I have like a lot of products many of which really are not at my skill level. Gave me some really good ideas to simplify my routine especially on work days.
This is the single most useful and easy to follow guide I've ever come across. I tried it this morning and my little smidges of makeup are still in place and looking good 6 hours later. Thank you!
I am always mesmerized by your brush holding technique! My daughter used to get scolded at school for holding her pencil wrong, but is quite the artist so it must be the artists in you!
Dear Nikki, just tried this and it is a life saver!!! Perfect for when you need to be presentable but can't really bother, for when you have to be ready at 5.30 am, or for a zoom meeting without much warning. THANK YOU!
Hi Nikki! I am a newbie makeup wearer and I’ve really been enjoying your videos. I’ve been bingeing all of the beginner guides because I’ve never been a big makeup wearer but I definitely want to learn to be more skillful. I was wondering if you had a video where you can guide on the right brushes/sponges to buy as a beginner. I don’t want to go crazy buying everything and the brushes are pretty pricey. I’m not sure if you’ll see this but if you do thank you for all of your guides, it’s been awesome!
This!!! I’m 20 and never was interested in makeup so I’m so behind. All I can do is my mascara and eyebrows. I don’t know brushes/sponges at all, I used to have a set that actually said the names on them but it was low quality lol
I love this even for non beginners. I love wearing makeup but where I live can get extremely hot and humid in the summer and I still want to wear makeup and look natural without feeling like everything is melting off. Very helpful
So much great info in this video. I love watching you work. I have general redness and pigmentation and need coverage all over, would love to see a video on how you would approach doing natural makeup on someone with skin like mine 😊
Omg-Nikki, these are some of the best products I’ve tried in a long time. I typically don’t like brow gels of any kind, since my brows are so stubborn, straight and spikey. Kept an open mind and attempted it again today w NYX’ brow pen. LIFE CHANGING. TYSM for not gatekeeping your faves!
i have been waiting for a video like this, thank you! personally, i could take this to night, but i would be curious to see your take on a video like this for a "night time" look.
I gotta say thank you for this vid!!! I have been using your concealer trick all week and it been wonderful! It's hard to do your beat b4 the sun rises!!
Ten years ago I knew how to do my makeup. Now, 4 kids later, I have no idea where to even start. Thanks for this easy to follow example! Would love a part 2!
My mom always wore very little to no makeup so I grew up with that example but over the years when I tried to do makeup "makeup" on myself, I quickly found out Im no good at it. I built my "own" way of doing makeup through trial and error and I feel so validated right now because this is exactly what I do on myself and a makeup PRO is actually recommending it. When you pointed out the concealer step with the finger instead of the brush that is also what I switched to because I have drier skin, every single step really, was exactly it. I also have a Dior lip balm that's my go-to but about to check out these recs 😭❤
Yes would love a part 2. As much as I love makeup, I'm just so busy, mom, work, life etc that most of the time I just don't have the time so more tips to look like I spent time on my face but actually didn't would be great! I also use the stick blush on cheeks, lips and eyes!
Yes please, part 2 Very helpful video, I prefer the no-makeup look and learned a lot. Glad I discovered your channel. You are a natural educator, very well done!
This tutorial is by far my favorite makeup tutorial. Even though it’s lengthily it’s worth watching for all the tips. Thank you for putting this out there for us to see!!
I want to Thank You so much! I’m 61 and have been disabled for 13 years due to the Mesh bladder surgery. So I am in bed majority of the time. 😢! Although I have watched so many creators using enough makeup for the red carpet. Which is not for the at home person who wants to feel pretty. I got so many great tips from you. I have make up from 10 years ago and trying to make the best of it. I’m even using a vitamin C hyacid . I have no skin care other than this old stuff but it’s working and I got really dry skin after having oily skin all my life. I have disability income which is the Government putting you in poverty, making themselves feel better.😂. I so appreciate you taking the time to put out a video I feel just for me. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for this video!! I used to wear makeup back in 2017 but quickly got tired of the heavy makeup look that was so trendy at the time. Now, after prioritizing skincare and trying to get back into makeup this video has been so helpful. This video is so appreciated and you are such a professional! Again, thank you so much!! ❤
This vid is so helpful and useful. I’ve been wanting to start with a blush that’s not a powder so I’m glad you mentioned it. Also I’m going to try the bronzer under the eye, that looks so nice!
I LOVE this video! (So yes please to Part 2 🤭) I’ve been into makeup for 25 years, however I personally rock a more natural/minimal look. Thank you very much for making this video girl! 🤗🤗🤍🙏
This is my absolute favorite video you have done. Yes to a part 2. I mean I don’t know how I didn’t see this before, this is exactly what I’ve been searching for.
One of the best tutorials I've seen! Thanks. At 73 and a total makeup lover my whole life this was really helpful. I've had to really change my application over the years because my skin has changed. It has been trial & error since covid since I only wore mascara for almost 2 yrs. I mostly switched to creams but my under eye has been my biggest challenge to apply & look natural. Again, thanks so much! And happy New year!
I LOVE this video! While I have fun with makeup and am pretty comfortable with most products, I never felt like I could create a good “no makeup” look. I start work at 4am from home, so I run a lot of errands in the afternoons. I really don’t want to do a full normal makeup, but want something to help me look more refreshed. You’re so great at explaining the why parts, as far as what this brush will do, what these consistencies provide, etc. Thank you so much for doing this. Love all your videos. I’m 50 (😳) and I feel like all your videos apply to a wide range of viewers. I really appreciate that.
LOVED this video!!! I am a beginner and don't love wearing lots of makeup but still want a balanced look like you showed here. Will be studying this video before my next event 😊
What a great tutorial, thank you! I’m so happy I found your videos. I’m in my mid thirties but not a makeup expert at all - in fact, for me this is a “makeup” look. Still, it’s absolutely stunning and I’ll be watching this video over and over again to try out all of your techniques!
You’re 100% speaking my language as a non makeup wearer, thank you so much for this tutorial! I’ve never worn full face makeup because I honestly feel like it’s an art form and it’s super overwhelming to figure out where to start/just how to do something basic for casual everyday wear if I just want to look like myself but a little brighter and enhanced. Your tutorial makes it feel a lot more approachable and way less overwhelming 🙌🏾
I learned so much from this esp about bronzer and the eyes. Thanks so much❤ the little tweaks I took from this made a difference. Way more modern and seamless.
Wow. I just let the video run and I didn’t know it was going to be a Master Class in makeup. Your professionalism and experience shows in every choice of words you use and every movement. Perfectionist to the core. But also friendly and approachable. Five/Five stars!
Nikki, have not watched the entire video yet, but did watch the portion on the eyes, since that is my obsession right now. I'm new to your channel, but I'm hooked and have just subscribed. FYI I'm 69 and abstained from eye makeup for 18 years, but took it up again. Love eyeliner, but agree it is a challenge. I love the idea of using eyeshadow to define the lashline as you did in this video but I'd probably go with a deeper shade. What you did was terrific, but please, please share which brush you used - this is what I'm so hung up about - brushes. Yes, I agree that angle brushes can be a problem and I've tried several. I'd rather do what you did, but I need to know which brush would be best. If it's the Zoeva 226 (I've seen you use it in 2 other videos), it seems impossible to get unless you buy an entire set. Anyway, I am thrilled to have found your channel as I think you do a fantastic job of explaining, your aesthetic is beautiful, and there's something about your way of speaking that comes across as very sincere.
Thank you so much! I’m older and a total makeup beginner. I’ve never enjoyed makeup cause I found it daunting and didn’t want to always look “made up,” I just want to look like me but a bit better. You totally get it with this tutorial. You’re a great teacher, love how you explain each step slowly and give me options. LOVED how you said, look avoid eyeliner if it’s too intimidating, no lashes needed. You’re not here to impress anyone with a wing lol.
This is great Nikki, thank you! I'm the type of person who doesn't like to over dress or over make up myself from who I'm hanging out with, but I do love to wear makeup and definitely need some filling in and accentuating. Always looking for a natural look while using a broad range of cosmetics.
Loved this video!! I have little experience with makeup but when I do it I prefer the low maintenance/"no makeup" makeup looks. I usually do mascara, bronzer they way you did in this video, and maybe some highlighter. But this is a great video and amazing natural results! Thanks for the tips and tricks; this looks so easy for me who's not confident with makeup or my skill level. The results were subtly beautiful and polished. You proved it's attainable for me!!
Ohh Nikki thank you soooo much for this video. I love makeup, but lately when my skin looks nice I don't wear foundation for my everyday look, and I struggled, as the same products that would work well with foundation on( concealer, blush, bronzer etc), it would look weird or patchy when I don't wear any. I've learnt so many amazing tips and tricks from this video. Thanks ❤️
LOVED this! How you explained all the details and the why's of what you are doing. Lots of options and levels to step up if needed. Really great, thank you!
I have literally been craving this video! I haaaate the feeling of makeup on my skin, especially as the day progresses. I always intend to use less makeup because I know it looks prettier on me personally, but it’s so easy to go dull face when you just keep adding on the products. Thank you!
I love your approach to makeup application and the way you describe the techniques and types of products to use. It’s very helpful and enjoyable to watch!

I would love to hear your guidance on how to pick bronzers for different undertones and skin tones!
Such a great in-depth video, you're a great teacher Nikki!
I’m not a beginner but I do appreciate a more natural and less fussy look. This was so insightful. Thanks Nikki!
This is a beautiful and sophisticated no make-up makeup look.
I got this channel almost 8-9 months ago through YT recommendation and that was the best thing I've ever get from this platform 😭
Every little thing you point out, describe, teach us so flawlessly that we're learning little by little every single time. It means more than a lot 🙌♥️ Thank you so much for being friendly with us, giving value to your people 💌✨
I also love the wow brow. I prefer it over most others.
Great video. Would love to see a video like this with all affordable drugstore makeup!!
Good idea 👌🏼
Yes!
Nailed it. I feel seen lmao
years of watching makeup content i never seen this happen before whoa
This is such a simple, natural and flattering routine to follow for those who don't like wearing sooo much make-up. The Nars matte concealer is also a favorite of mine & following your technique has made my application so much smoother. Thank you so much for this video!!
MY GIRL YESSS CANT WAIT FOR UR LIVE TOMORROW!!!!! I LOVE THE SUNDAY LIVES!!!!!!!
Hi Nikki! What a great tutorial (and refresher) for no makeup look or beginner and those of us who do wear a "bit" more makeup.
Thanks!
This is probably the most well done makeup tutorial I’ve ever seen. I feel like I’ve learned more from this from the countless other videos out there. Thank you!
First of all, YOUR SKIN IS INCREDIBLY FLAWLESS. Thanks for keeping it practical and simple. I love the concept, I will try it for sure.
Love your videos! I was wondering if you could do a video specifically about which brushes to get for the minimalist/beginner makeup user? ❤
Came from mixed makeup and was drawn in by your kindness - so lovely to see you are talented and a great teacher too
This is a great make up routine for anyone that wants to look put together especially for work but doesn’t want to look like they’re wearing makeup, I love it ❤
Great video - I'm on the struggle bus with makeup these days. Started trying to really redo my whole process several months ago and now I have like a lot of products many of which really are not at my skill level. Gave me some really good ideas to simplify my routine especially on work days.
Finally Nikki ❤ love your glam tutorials, BUT this is my everyday! Thank you 🙏
This is the single most useful and easy to follow guide I've ever come across.
THANK YOU!
the perfect make up . I am a korean make up lover and i like natural and youthful make up. I hope young girls watch this.
Omg thank you! This video is made for me!!!!!! I’m very simple with makeup and don’t like a lot on my face. I want it to feel natural.
Can’t wait for part 2! Also would love this for a mature dry skin over 55 PLEASE. This was fantastic
This would be great if we could have a part 2 with Elf or a more affordable price.
Best “no makeup” tutorial I’ve seen, EVER. And the tips and tricks you gave were awesome. Thank you!
Your kindness is so moving.
Love, a non-makeup wearer who hasn’t know where to start
Thank you for this video!! I used to wear makeup back in 2017 but quickly got tired of the heavy makeup look that was so trendy at the time. Now, after prioritizing skincare and trying to get back into makeup this video has been so helpful. This video is so appreciated and you are such a professional! Again, thank you so much!! ❤
This vid is so helpful and useful. I’ve been wanting to start with a blush that’s not a powder so I’m glad you mentioned it. Also I’m going to try the bronzer under the eye, that looks so nice!
I LOVE this video! (So yes please to Part 2 🤭)
I’ve been into makeup for 25 years, however I personally rock a more natural/minimal look. Thank you very much for making this video girl! 🤗🤗🤍🙏
This is my absolute favorite video you have done. Yes to a part 2. I mean I don’t know how I didn’t see this before, this is exactly what I’ve been searching for.
WOW!!! Love this video; perfect for older women as well. You are indeed an artist.
Thank you so much Nikki! This is exactly what I was looking for, something natural for us who don't want to do the full glam everyday =) ♥
Really loved this video!! You’re a great teacher
Thanks for sharing so simple, was happy to learn about these recommended products
I just cannot stress enough how helpful this tutorial is. It is absolutely excellent. Thank you thank you thank you
Ohh Nikki thank you soooo much for this video.
Really great, thank you!
not even 3 minutes in and i'm already buying everything listed in your description 😂🤎
This is the video I’ve been needing as an au naturale girlie who wants to dab into makeup. Thank you, Nikki. Beautiful as always 🤍
SAME.👍
I have literally been craving this video! I haaaate the feeling of makeup on my skin, especially as the day progresses. I always intend to use less makeup because I know it looks prettier on me personally, but it’s so easy to go dull face when you just keep adding on the products. Thank you!
Hi Nikki 👋, will you be doing any clients/models' makeup in this channel? Hope to see some in the future ☺
I love all of your looks, but this natural one is closer to what I feel comfortable with. Thank you!!
I love your approach to makeup application and the way you describe the techniques and types of products to use. It’s very helpful and enjoyable to watch!
