In Living Color is one of the greatest shows that doesn't gets the credit it deserves. That show brought us some great actors and comedians (Tommy Davidson, the Wayans, Jim Carrey, Jamie Foxx, J-Lo, David Allen Grier, Kelly Park, Kim Coles, ect) that went on to have successful careers. The real problem no one wants to talk about is that puppetmaster of a "wife" Jada "I'm actually jealous of my man's career" Pinkett-Smith. She's the bully that sicced Weak Will on Chris Rock. She's the villain in all this. Yes, Cuckold Will is ultimately in control of his own actions (or reactions) but the influence comes all from Jezebel Jada. That harpy is toxic. @@TheBrownIsland I respectfully disagree with you. If he had the same recognition, accolades and praise as the comedians during his time, he'd have the same net worth as them, right? For example, Eddie Murphy net worth-$200 million, Jim Carey-$180 million, Jamie Foxx-$150 million, Chris Rock-$60 million, Martin Lawrence-$110 million. Dave Chappelle-$50 million. Heck! ADAM SANDLER (for goodness sake) IS WORTH $420 MILLION!! And Tommy is wayyy funnier than Adam! He's just as funny if not FUNNIER than the comedians I mentioned. So you want to know Tommy's net worth?? $2 MILLION!! So is he underrated? YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT! And no, me saying he's underrated does NOT discredit his work. @@tooakki The South did not want to give up slavery because of economics. The North never had slaves so machines coming into the picture (which was years after the Civil War) did not have anything to do with the North not wanting slaves. It was ethics vs. income and slavery was a moral issue for many people particularly in the North but also in the South. With new territories coming into the Union, the question was whether these territories would have slaves and many state leaders were against the advancement of slave territories. The South did not feel that the government should make the decision on what individual states could do so Southern states seceded and then the war was on. The Emancipation Proclamation was issued in 1863 during the war but it was not the reason for the start of the war. It was an effort to end the war and the issue of slavery. The government (read: the North) had to keep the Union together so they had to beat the South into submission and the rest is history. If the North had the land and the weather of the South, slavery probably would have existed up North too.

I remember having this talk with someone who hated that he was half Puerto Rican, all because his Puerto Rican mom had not been around much growing up. I explained to him that if he was the best version of himself, that he is already representing the good in Puerto Ricans but that if he lowered the essence of everything that has made him who he is, then he would also be representing Puerto Rico in a negative way like his mom. From that moment on he was proud and respectful of other Puerto Ricans, giving everyone a fair chance, as the individual human beings that everyone deserves to be.
