    I had my gallbladder removed many years ago. I also have been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. I have suffered from terrible bouts of diarrhea at random times, and gas and bloating daily. About a month ago I started taking a digestive enzyme supplement which included ox bile. This has been life changing for me. My digestive problems have almost completely disappeared. I wish I had known about this years ago.

    I'm new to your channel, subscribed not too long ago after watching this video first and then followed the rest of your videos. What a treasure of information!
    My gallbladder was removed 30 years ago and I have not been the same since. I learned about 8 years ago that I needed to take ox bile for the rest of my life and, while it did help for about 5 years, I started a couple 2-3 yrs ago with the bloating, gas, it took hours, literally, for my food to digest. I gained a good 20 lbs. and at normal weight of around 125 carrying that extra was tiring, and I knew I wasn't absorbing fat vitamins as I could feel and tell my body was lacking them.
    About 2 weeks ago I came across this video and realized just what my problem has been. 1. taking ox bile WITH food and 2. Because I was taking ox bile with food I developed very low stomach acid. Wow! What a mess it did on my body! More importantly, though, what a relief adding HCL before and during a meal and taking ox bile an hour after eating has helped me so, so much!!
    In the past 2 weeks, I know I lost a good 5-8 pounds, my stomach is no longer bloated, my food digests in the normal one hour window. I feel lighter in my body and weight. Eating healthy has become the norm for me since having my gallbladder removed, which has helped a huge amount in having somewhat healthier bowls, and, now, my bowls and digestion are spot on. I am so looking forward to finally reaping the benefits of all fat vitamins, my exercising finally paying off, getting rid of the rest of this fat and, I have you to thank. If I could reach through the computer to hug you I would!
    Thank you so much for the wonderful information! I also want to say I enjoy your comedic side when explaining things. It sure makes for great entertainment while learning at the same time.

    I've had a few different problems with my gut, IBS, low stomach acid, leaky gut, Gerd and fatty liver to name a few, that I've now sorted. I've also taken Tudca and my fat digestion is much better than it was but not completely fixed even with the stomach acid levels back to normal & bile flow sorted. My question is can I take ox bile by itself as I have my gal bladder & if we recycle up to 90% with it filing the gal bladder to release after we eat food, this would remove the timing aspect for me to know exactly when to take it, as I've heard lots of different conflicting advice on this, some say just after food, some hr to 2 hrs after and my last bottle said before food, this one just says the dosage and nothing about when, I can't find much info about the timing with a gal bladder intact, any advice i much appreciated.

      Without a gallbladder, you will likely need ox bile indefinitely, and it sounds like you are using it correctly and taking it away from food. But when ox bile helps stool move better, it is usually just the lubricant factor that is helping and you likely have not corrected the actual underlying cause of the constipation. But our totally free digestion course can walk you through the process of figuring out the underlying cause of your constipation and steps to fix it. In the future I will NOT take it close to consuming food and see if it works even better than it currently seems to. FYI - I have my gall bladder, but have been experiencing what so far seems to be sluggish bile as described in the video. You bet @Dave Sterchele , yeah, if the ox bile works and seems to help, and you do have your gallbladder, the poor bile flow is almost a slam dunk. This video shows 10 other signs and you might see enough to help you confirm it with this video: ua-cam.com/video/iYs-yamzxx0/v-deo.html
      but what's great is that you can take steps to thin your bile and get it flowing again and restore your natural bile function, and then you won't need to take the ox bile anymore. Plus, when bile is flowing again, the body can also detox the way it's supposed to. This video will show you how to get it flowing again: ua-cam.com/video/mBdV6ZT9woQ/v-deo.html

    I still have my GB and a recent CT scan says I have no sludge or stones. I had The Gastric Sleeve 3.5 years ago and had multiple stones on Ultrasound just prior, so I used Organic Beet Root Powder and Ox Bile to get rid of them AND prevent new ones to ensure massive weight loss didn’t cause me to need a Cholecystectomy (like 80% of bariatric surgery patients usually do). Thankfully, my Naturopath told me about these 2 supplements. I’m done losing weight now and don’t have Acid Reflux because my Naturopath also told me about Betaine HCL.
    I stopped the HCL about 3 months after having The Sleeve bc it fixed the Acid Reflux caused by The Sleeve. I stopped the 2 gallstone dissolving supplements about 2.5 years after The Sleeve surgery.
    But for the past few months I’ve had the symptoms of Bile Acid Malabsorption with D (esp. in the early part of the day, which is typical of BAM). I thought maybe I should re-start the Ox Bile, but it only made the D worse (although it’s a more normal color). Am I a person who should NOT take Ox Bile for D?
    BTW what’s ur recommendation for BAM, OTHER than taking a prescription?

      HI Amanda, sounds like you are taking some good steps. Just know that the most common cause for diarrhea is a lack of bile flow, but it's definitely not the only cause of loose stools. • @KickItNaturally
      @KickItNaturally  2 роки тому +2

      Hi Beverly. That is the rip off when someone loses their gallbladder. The ox bile doesn't store so there is no way to restore the same digestive function. But with the ox bile, you can at least get pretty close. When you take it, it simply moves through the stomach and into the intestinal tract where it can help with all of those digestive processes that happen there.

      HI Luiz, fatty liver is often partially caused by too many carbs or sugars, so you might need to work on that if that is an issue, but poor bile flow is often part of the problem as well. so instead of supplying the body with bile, in that scenario, you might benefit more from getting bile to flow correctly if you still have your gallbladder. I have been experiencing pale stool AND constipation (constipation now largely relieved since around 2-3 months ago) as well as some terrible skin issues with daily clear liquid discharge from lumps on my scalp (with accompanying hair loss) and acne on the neck and chest. I've been on a very high fat diet for the last 3 years with loads of raw A2 milk, raw butter, fatty meats, 10 eggs a day and raw cheeses etc. which I wonder if might have damaged my liver or overwhelmed my ability to digest fat. The stools have also been somewhat greasy too, and watching your content on bile flow made me think I probably have issues with bile/gallbladder (and possible stones). I have now consumed two bottles of beet flow and a pack of xenoplex in the last 4 weeks and yet still the issues with pale stool and skin complaints persist. I have also recently ordered ox bile, which I hope arrives soon, and have started doing coffee enemas. Do you have an opinion on this situation I'm in? Would love to hear your take on it and perhaps what would you might do in my position. Thanks for you great work, as always.

    Thank you for great trove of information!
    I get loose stool with lighter colour when I eat food outside, sometimes after 15-20 mins of eating outside! After watching your videos I realise could be because bile is not flowing properly. I think I have food sensitivity. I try to keep a food diary and eat at home then my stool is firm and brown.
    I have tried multiple things but still suffering from few years. With protein meals I have taken up to 8 betain HCL pepsin with no heat felt inside. I tried ox bile once after meal and got bloated which is a sign of low stomach acid?!
    ACV also causes me loose stool, and my B12, D, Iron levels usually stay in lower range of the limits.

    I had my GB out about 5 years ago. I had really bad bowls for years and a lot weight gain. I would work out and could never lose the weight. Also have become deficient in so many vitamins. Last March I started getting really bad burning pains in stomach. I was referred to a GI who put me on acid reducers. I didn’t take them because I’ve read all the bad things about being on them long term. Recently began seeing a Naturopath who has helped me a lot and I’ve been able to lose a lot of weight. Back to my normal size at about 140 lbs however I still suffer from gas, bloating, acid reflux that comes and goes. Currently dealing with a flare up. I take digestive enzymes with every meal, Vitamin D, tinctures to help with Adrenal function, bowl function and a GB tonic. My question is you talk about taking Ox bile but if you are dealing with reflux not to take? When would be the right time to take? When the reflux has cleared up? Anything you suggest I do? I eat really clean with a minor slip up once in awhile. Any tips would really help and be greatly appreciated.

      Hi @Ashley Flores , thanks so much for the note. It sounds like you've been working hard to correct this. When someone has lost their gallbladder, I usually use ox bile with that client. If they are having reflux, I may just have to adjust the timing and dose and try to put the ox bile away from the food, and then figure out if I can use some HCL or something to acidify the stomach enough to trigger the LES valve to close and stop the reflux. How the stool is going will usually dictate what they can and can't do. Im a fairly skinny 23 year old guy who developed insulin resistence pretty much from eating too much bread and pasta. About 3 weeks ago I began a keto diet and intermittent fasting when I started to get heart problems, blood sugar swings, sweet-smelling urine, and even some neuropathy. After doing keto and IF for about 2 weeks I reversed pretty much all of those symptoms and will continue to leave carbs out of my diet for the most part going forward as I regain my insulin sensitiviy. However, about halfway through my second week I woke up with a slight pinch in my side around my gallbladder (for dinner I had eaten my fattiest meal since starting keto the night before). As the days went by, the pressure in the liver/gallblader area continued to increase. Its been about 5 or 6 days and Ive not had any gallstone attacks, but the pressure is becoming quite strong and full.
    My theory is that when I went into keto I began to put a higher demand on my body for bile, though my liver has not upregulated bile production enough to fulfill it yet, or if it can at all. Furthermore, becoming more fat adapted through keto and IF and using some of my fat stores is making my liver produce cholesterol, which thickens my bile. I also noticed Ive had more ance all around my body and im coming down with an illness. Perhaps this is because my bile is not flowing well enough to eject the toxins my liver is filtering out? The acne and illness could be totally unrelated, though.
    So do you have any thoughts on my situation? I just put the story together in my head and I realized that I may need to suppliment with some bile salts. What do you think?

    • @KickItNaturally
      @KickItNaturally  Рік тому +3

      Hi @UnibrowsheepZ, you're onto some good clues, but it is more likely that bile is just too thick and stick to flow correctly. It's less common to see someone not making enough bile and it's more about the bile being too thick. We explain how to correct that and thin the bile in this video: ua-cam.com/video/mBdV6ZT9woQ/v-deo.html
      But if you're having pain, you may have some stones that are moving around a bit so this video about gallstones could help: ua-cam.com/video/qPn_iPkj2Yw/v-deo.html
      But more importantly, you will REALLY want to understand this video about gallbladder troubles and fasting: ua-cam.com/video/m1jc3OoZxN4/v-deo.html
      But once you take those steps to thin the bile out it should improve a lot of this.
      Let us know how it goes.

      @@digital2man Glory to God as I'm actually doing a lot better now. When I went keto I inadvertantly removed most to all fiber in my diet (which is important in removing old bile and keeping it from being reabsorbed). After much prayer and reintroducing fiber into my diet and getting a lot more excersize my gallbladder pain has gradually improved, becoming more dull and less full. My gallbladder area still feels occasionally irritated when I do heavier excersizes, however the irritation is not as bad as it was. I'm guessing the fiber helped increase bile production which is gradually dissolving the stones and/or giving me better flow. Plus, I've lost much of my visceral fat, so cholesterol getting dumped into the GB from rapid weight loss is no longer as much an issue. Regardless, I have seen a doctor and I'm getting an ultrasound on the 12th.

      Hi Marta. Great to hear from you. Not really weird, just uncommon. If a lack of lubricant is slowing things down, some bile could help that. It can also depend on what else is in the combination product that could be helping things acidify more than the bile is alkalizing things. But for more than 9 out out of 10 people, where constipation has more to do with a lack of stomach acid, taking ox bile with meals will always make things worse for those folks since its not allowing the food to be properly acidified.
