- Nissan Skylines are USA import legal now with the over 25 year law. Being that the Skyline R32 R33 and R34 are aging and old many of the suspension bushings are shot and worn out. Cant figure out why your Skyline does not handle very good? The Skylines GTR bushings and ball joints are probably all worn out and falling apart. This will make the Skyline handle loose and sloppy. Time to replace those old worn out oem rubber suspension bushing, oem ball joints and restore the Skyline back to its Godzilla like handling! I decided to install Superpro and Whiteline Polyurethane suspension bushings with Nissan OEM Axle seals and OEM Nissan HICAS Ball Joints. Turned out this job was more difficult that I expected. I had to completely remove the rear knuckles from the GTR and have a shop press all the bushings for me.

The original shock bush is an offset bush. They have that hole in the rubber from new.
Need to do this to all mine as well. Lots to do on the list of maintenance for these cars

Thanks for the video! perfect timing! as i've been looking for the lower shock bushings as the inspector says they are marginal, i've just put new tein coilovers in as well. do you think if its just the shock bushing that needs doing that i can do it within the car? liked and subscribed! cheers!
You need an hydraulic press to push the bushing back in. I don't know if you could position the press that easily with the knuckle on the car. The factory service manual shows the knuckle being off the car to complete the lower suspension bushing. Hope that helps and good luck!
Hey Josh, just wonder for the SPF1638k and SPF1639K for 32 rear, do you have enough bushes for the knuckle and upper arms? I am in the middle of installing the bushes (Whiteline for the shock bushing too) but somehow I’m missing 2 bushes for the upper arm..

Great job man, I will be doing the same thing to mine. 27 year old bushings, never been touched. I do believe my passenger side hub bearing is making noise, would you happen to know the bearing part number or one that fits? Thanks, great vid. Thumbs up!

So you just need 1 of the white line bushings for the suspension bushing replacement? I dont want to order 2 and have spares.
If you order one package it comes with enough to do both knuckles two bushings total.
