Your first video on Fargo is what got me into the show. I had seen the movie, loved it, heard they were making a TV show, thought to myself "why, what's the point?", and then forgot about it. You're the reason I checked it out and I'm forever grateful that I gave it a shot. There were articles and rumors before the release of the season that this would be the last and final season of Fargo. Now there are other reports that Noah Hawley might be up for more seasons. Either way, it's a win win for me. If we get another season, then great, more Fargo! However, I think this season really tied the entire show together and is my favorite so far. If this is the last we see of this show, then boy they ended on a high note.
Munch is the best character out of all seasons / movie, yet. An ancient evil with a bad haircut and a heart of gold, with all the best lines. Dave Foley is a treasure and it was a surprise to see him in this season. A worthy exit for him. This just makes me want to re-watch. Season 1, 5, then 3, my favs.
@@Ceejmm Not at all- Noah Hawley says it's very much still possible there will be more seasons. The network wants it, and he wants to do it, but he's thinking over what the next idea could be.
Didn’t expect this before the BCS season 6 vid, still hoping for that in the near future but this was a pleasant surprise. Before this season of Fargo came out I actually watched the series in chronological order based on the time period they were set in (season 4 then 2 then 1 then 3). I enjoyed season 4 but loved the other three. Was happy that this one was also better than 4 at least in my opinion. Still not sure of my ranking of 1, 3 and 5 but 2 is definitely my favorite
Because of your first Fargo vid I watched the whole series few years ago. Also i checked out the movie and then watched your video again! (B-Mask vids are always great re-watch) Since this season dropped I was waiting on your take on it and it didn't disappoint. Great video as always!
Finally got me to see Fargo S5 cause I really love the show and honestly? This is definitely my favorite. The seasons have always given me something great to chew on but I don’t think I’ve been more invested in the characters this deeply since season one. My favorite was Season 3 for a while- largely for Mary Elizabeth Winstead and David Thewlis. But this season really blew me away- allowing itself to evolve into a story that really grows into hard discussions and the overcoming of ancestral pain and our pasts. And it all starts cause Dot defends her daughter, cause she loves her family more than she fears her past. It was really stunning, can’t wait to hear your thoughts!
Yeaaaah Let's get this video to a lot of views in the first hour so that it gets love from youtube Algorithm bless this video which i liked even before watching it because it's that good Seriously, sometimes i end up pissed off because i can't like it again after watching it, fix that youtube Lots of words lots of engagement, yadda yadda
With this theming, I wish Gator and Dot got a scene. It was strange how he was just left out of the final moments of the season. They said he was in jail. But was his trying to get better? To undo Roy's programming? Or was he still trapped in his Father's shadow? I felt robbed of that answer.
I think the moment of him and Dot connecting before it ended was all it took to start the road to a debt-free existence. I definitely felt that finality was missing myself, but perhaps that was intentional, and I'm not sure Hawley owed me all the answers in return.
Wow B-Mask, once again you write a mean, 6 minute introduction! I couldn't tell you how the rest of the video goes considering now I have a series to catch up on...
I have the attention span of a grapefruit and no interest in this show, but you had my full attention the whole time, which for me is a big compliment. Great video.
Wonderful weekend delight, B, beautifully dysected and I was so happy to find out that you had a part 1, let's say, like 5 years ago😂, that was a lovely watch as well. Love to see you dive into amazing movie and tv analysis ❤❤❤❤
I don't think Fargo is for me. Maybe I'm too young, maybe its just too big brain, I don't know. Even when I don't think I get it tho, your final point stired some emotion in me, where I'm not currently crying, but it feels close. Thanks for the video Mr. Mask.
wonderful vid as always! never seen this show but i Have seen the film and i think you did a great job connecting the two projects for people in my situation to follow along

Don't want the series spoiled, so I'll be commenting and liking till I can come back someday to watch.
Always ready to listen to someone talk about Fargo.

Great stuff!
season 4 "dropped the accent" because it wasn't set in minnesota at all, but kansas city
Dropping the accent was essentially inferring exactly this but with less words because lord knows we have enough of those in these vids already
