- Wild camp in the MSR Access 1 overlooking Ennerdale. I started from Wasdale and hiked over Red Pike and Scoat Fell on a very hot afternoon which made it tough going. In the morning I went over to Steeple and low on water descended back to Wasdale.
The pitch on top of a crag overlooking Ennerdale was perfect and I was treated to a beautiful sunset, and a warm night. There were midges but a slight breeze kept the worst of them at bay.
Unfortunately I didn't fully charge my main camera batteries so had to rely heavily on the GoPro, as a result didn't manage to get some of the video I wanted. Ah well lesson learned for the next trip!
Hope you enjoy the video, if so please give it the thumbs up, and subscribe. There will be many more videos to come.
Great video Martin. Some lovely scenery over that way. Brilliant pitch too, those photos of your tent below the stars were spot on👌🏻 TFS, cheers. Mark

Thank you
I ordered my access 1. Does it come with a footprint?
Good one. Mine did, but I think that was a special offer at the time.
@@martingregoryphotography thanks, it does say it comes with it as a special offer (elite mountain supplies). Thanks for all the advice and I’ll make sure to give your videos a shout out on my next camp!
@@DJVOutdoors I got mine from the same supplier, they do seem pretty good. Thanks
very nice, fantastic pitch that, i havent camped there that often, will have to make more of an effort to do the extra journey time.
It’s definitely worth the effort
Some great scenery and photography. Looking forward to more like this.
