6 years late, but it’s great to be prepared and have the means to good cooking under undesirable circumstances. Making this meal as a first in my Dutch oven as I type. Corned beef next.
Mr Backwoods I'm glad to see you're properly prepared for the hurricane. cold beer and cabbage soup. say safe over there. .Matt from Tampa checking in ..
Fall is when we get our best garden. Cabbage, pok choy, chard, collards and other greens, onions, broc and cauliflower, lettuce, beets, turnips. Can also get a crop of tomatoes, peppers and green beans in if the weather holds and we don't get a early frost.
This was one of my favorite episodes and I think it was the 1st I saw from this channel. Mr. Backwoods, you should do this dish again with corned beef for Saint Patrick's day this weekend. :)
I wish I had time to do that. I'm leaving for North Florida on Friday to go on a turkey hunt with my brother and film it. If we get one, you will see a kill, clean and cook next week.
What size is the propane burner (BTU s) are you using in this vid? I have one for my turkey fryer but 250,000 is a bit overkill and wastes propane. Thanks
You can watch all of the video here on our channel. 116 videos as of now. How to smoke salmon is here. ua-cam.com/video/d4GLtvEL8dY/v-deo.html Salmon don't live here in tropical Florida, but we do catch and smoke other types of fish. See how to smoke fish on our channel as well.

"...started our fall garden..." Wow. I am jealous that you get to have that! My garden is April-September only. Dish looks great as usual.
