My best friend and I packed in the Eagle caps of eastern Oregon. We made that same Dutch oven breakfast. We prepared most of our meals in a Dutch oven buried in the ground surrounded by Cole's to come back to hot meal after a long day of work. That was a long time ago.
This is another good video my friend . It's getting time for me to get my but in gear to start using my camping gadgets .watching this makes me want to hurry. THANK YOU FRANK FROM MONTANA......
I have never seen a 20 minute breakfast take 40 minutes to make. 😆 How I did it last time: (1 or 2 10" iron skillets over gas stove) 1) bacon (1.5 lbs) 2) hash browns in bacon grease, (8) same pan 3) eggs , in residual oil (10, call toast boy) 4) ready with toast. All 7 people at the cabin eat. Then we replace a roof. Very nice ladies breakfast there however.... Haha. Peace and blessings to you.
Some bacon mixed in would be good also some peppers and tomatoes and maybe some fresh corn tortillas cut up and mixed with the eggs making like a Migas dish

Ty brother
I like the concept of the layers in this recipe. I don't have an outdoor Dutch oven, do you think it would work with one on the stovetop?
You could do all the steps up to the biscuits, then put in the preheated conventional oven at 450 for 10 mins.
Could you use milk instead of cream? Looks great for camping, but trying to make it a bit healthier with milk and whole grain biscuits.
Yes

When ever I do biscuits on top of liquid like that I get brown tops and raw bottoms.
The heat has to be nice and hot so the steam cooks the bottoms. Look at my channel page for more example of how to do this. Thanks for watching.
Whomp biscuits... cuz you whomp the can on the edge of the counter.
Nice. Looks mmmmm good.
(Just a little FYI....your mic was a bit glitchy, but we Got the gist of it).
God bless! ❤️

My goodness….
I hear a little echo, every now and then, during this video. (Just to let you know!)
Problem since resolved. After an emergency repair, I had the thing in Dolby 5.1 was causing the echo.
Great cooking! Now I'm HUNGRY....
