I'm feeling like I'll wait for a true deluxe edition on this. I can already watch the film anytime on streaming, so paying for only that on bluray with no extras seems pointless beyond "collector" value.
I think this bluray stands as an alternative to paying for a D+ subscription. Fair enough if you have no intention of paying a monthly fee ongoing, for the off chance you might want to rewatch it, or go back to it often. For those who had previously subscribed, or who are now customers, a copy of something already available seems pointless but, it may not be available for view indefinitely. I'd hold out for a deluxe version though.
Yeah, I think I’l “hold fire” as well… I definitely want the uncut rooftop performance, without cutaways to the street like you said - I also would like to see the complete performances of the in-studio songs they did specifically as videos, such as two of us, let it be, the long and winding road…
Not much point buying it while it is still on Disney. If I did buy it I’d buy as a download and not as a physical item. The thing that may change my mind would be if they released a a box set with the 18 hours of footage, the original film, the concert and perhaps the accompanying book. Otherwise I see no point.
I'll be buying the Blu-ray set as soon as it becomes available. Life is short and who knows what the future holds. If a deluxe version becomes available, I'll assess that version, and if its worth the price, buy that one as well and give the first set to a friend. This is by far my favorite music channel. Thanks
Errrrmmm.Frankly interested in neither of the aforementioned options.I guess not much of a fan although recognise their success .Just not my tipple. Thanks all the same.
I share your views in every particular - thanks for articulating them! The IMAX version is apparently 1hour of the rooftop concert (which I thought lasted 45 minutes??) Plus a Q&A with Peter Jackson. It is supposed to be a 'one night only' screening and ticket prices are said to be very high (£40 in the UK).

Peter Jackson''s documentary ranks alongside such great works as the 1970 Woodstock fılm and Gimme Shelter ..a must see for music fans
I’am very happy that we are getting this on Blu-ray and as a Beatles fan I am definitely buying it

I was all set to get it when it comes out, but now I might hold off for a while to see if the additions you mentioned gets released … thanks mate
I thought Get Back was one of the best things I have seen on TV in years.
I did not see the documentary, but will certainly buy it
Wearing a Stones T-shirt while talking about the Beatles is the type of sarcastic boldness I'd happily expect from you!
I think the old Stones v Beatles divide is in the past now. I love both bands
I’ll buy it
