Elderberry is amazing! I take 2-3 elderberry vitamins each day. They have completely transformed my allergy issues; what use to be debilitating is now non-existent.
My husband and I have been married 30 years next week. We have 8 daughters, five still home and two grand daughters. Like you, we homeschool, raise much of our food, (I'm canning and preparing food for the freeze dryer as I listen) and we have tried to teach our girls to pursue interests and skills which they can use all through life. Just last night I was feeling down, questioning again .." are we right to not strongly encourage college and career? Are we selling our girls short by not following the "normal" path? Will they resent spending summers gardening, putting up food, baking, serving, instead of everyday at the beach or the cottage? ---but I love the fruit of what I am seeing as each finds her niche. One daughter sews beautifully and makes hand made gifts for every occasion, she also sells bouquets that she starts from seed in spring, all of them bake and one has mastered sour dough on her own initiative. That daughter also raises goats so we have fresh milk all season, our 13 year old loves gardening with me and our 15 year old knits, crochets and is great with technology. two of our married daughters love being home, creating warmth and beauty. We have a pool and try to balance work and play. But it is always encouraging to hear others have such similar goals and convictions. I wish we had more like minded families near us.
Congrats to this couple expecting an eighth child in the past 12 years of marriage. Wow! That's amazing. I am glad that you guys work hard together to do the best you can. I have never used elderberries for anything. I honestly wouldn't really know what to use it for, but I think it is definitely a good business to get into and educate people like me about it. I enjoyed the vulnerability that they shared throughout this video (such as anxiety and making money from a hobby).

You definitely have to create a place that kids want to take over the business. Good podcast.
Thanks for having us on again this year!
I just ordered, can’t wait to try this and share with my family.
Hello from NC
Do you make jam/jelly from elderberries if so, what do you charge? 😊❤
We don’t currently but it’s something we are very seriously discussing right now
@@walkerfamilyhomestead it's amazing. I hope you do.
