After meeting you at the park outside my house, and after watching even 10 minutes of ur content, I can tell you are cool af, and as someone who was diagnosed adhd and high functioning autistic as a child, I can say with confidence that I will continue to return to your content after seeing the true passion on your face when you speak about supporting autism awareness. You mean it when you say it and that means alot to me! Keep doin what ur doin, you'll grow and keep growing, I just know it! (I was Chayton btw, I met you yesterday as of the writing of this comment, and for more proof you were showing me that the plastic you were fishing was shaped like a person, and you caught fish with it right in front of, as I made a marling baits joke about how it's official that bass like ppl lmao) sorry this comment is a monster if you actually read all this you are a God
I was wondering if you had pre-fed the heat shrink onto the wire before doing the crimp. (No need to ask why that would pop up as a concern in my mind.) 😂
Does the cable with the inline fuse go from the battery to the yak power unit or from the yak power unit to the finder? Does the display come from Garmin with an inline fuse on the power cable? I’m about to do this as soon as my Garmin order comes in.
What’s up Burly!! Love the content! What fitting did you use when you went through the hull with transducer wire. I’m trying to find the cleanest setup before I drill. Thank you.
What size unit is that I was thinking about getting one don't know what size I want to get the 7 or 9 inch screen and I love watching your videos keep up the good work guys
Two points to share from what I’ve heard: 1) A bigger display is always better visibility, clarity and scale of image for viewing, 2) You actually don’t get any more info to view if you go bigger than a 9” screen. So if your budget is comfortable with the 9”, do that.
Ive been watching some of your newer videos and you dont seem to use the panoptix much, how is it working? It would be awesome to see some on the water footage, unless ive just missed it in the new videos! im building up my 2019 pa14 the exact same way only difference is I am using a 93sv garmin.
Question about power distribution. What is the yak block voltage rating? What battery are you using? I'm about set up new ultra 106sv & steady cast heading sensor. I'll be adding the Lvs 34 before spring. But I'm using an amped outdoors 32ah 14.8volt battery. I couldn't find anything on yak power that said amp or voltage ratings?

Thanks bro!
Well Done!
AS ALWAYS LIKE YOUR CONTENT BURLY FISHING LIKE YOUR UA-cam CHANNEL KEEP UP THE AWESOME WORK. 👍👍

Maybe turn your GLS10 up to where your plugs are face up and not down towards the bottom of the yak

Why didn’t you feed the Panoptix transducer wire through the factory installed through hole mount instead of a hole through the rod tube?
So that I can remove the cable easily when I don’t want the panoptix arm attached
@@aaanglers makes a lot of sense, thanks

Garmin includes 1 fuse, Yak Power included the other one. So we wired battery to yak power, yak power to unit.
Yep, mine weighs a ton now. But she's nice!!!
@Burley Fishing awesome vid man and sicko set up how battery Ah do you have?

Like drill bit? All through hulls were traced and dremeled or routered
What did you use for power supply for the panoptix?
Dakota lithium battery 54 amp. Yak power complete kit
Thats gonna get the job done! I’ve been looking at Dakota and Amped. Thanks!
Which ram mounts did you use?

Bigger screen better resolution! Do a 9 if you can
@@aaanglers ok thanks
@@marctheriault Very subjective! I have two 12" units on my boat, I would never go with 9". Period.

We do, but haven't nailed down the features yet. It helps a ton. We just aren't smart enough to talk about it lol.
@@aaanglers hahaha ok but I doubt that is the case lol! keep up the great content guys love your channel.

System is 12volt. We have the dakota lithium 12v 54 ah
@@aaanglers ok my lithium is 14.8 v so I'll look at a different power distribution hub
How has this setup been working out for you? About to do a similar setup?
Great so far!
This kayak is going to weigh a ton when you're done
😂 600 lb capacity… but I may need to watch my body weight
