I installed my Garmin GT54 transducer very similarly to what you did only I had the Berleypro cover in hand before I started and was able to see where everything would fit. The front 2 holes of the Berleypro use the screw holes that hold the "clean" plastic part you cut a slot in for the cable to run through. I had to mount my transducer back farther so the cable hole had to be made between the posts on the top side of the Guardian cover to allow the GT54 to be placed back far enough for the Berleypro to still retract into the hull. Your installation may be a tad too far forward now for the cover.
Was actually maybe gonna maybe get a new fish finder my self this year. Looking at helix 7 with side imaging killer for walleye and pike is what we have here. Just need to look at the wiring see how much of a pain it would be. If it gonna stink doing might just keep mine I have right now
@@aaanglers Yes I understand how it works as I’ve had a couple of Hobies myself. What I was saying was that you didn’t talk about how it’s connected. To some who don’t understand the mechanism, they might be somewhat confused. Good video and helpful.
Who’s ready for some kayak carnage!?
Bro. Ur going to have a sick setup when ur done. Keep it coming.
🙌 Thanks!

question why did yo go Garmin over Lowrance or hummingbird ?
Hummingbird was hard to find, wasn’t a fan of Lowrance, got a deal on garmin
Which transducer did you install? A garmin GT56 UHD ?
Already thanks for your reaction
Whichever one comes with the Garmin echomap ultra 122sv
💪🏻
Is there a way I could put my black box and my battery in the same case?
Big enough case, sure
Sorry but you forgot to show the cord connection that allows the Guardian Plate to deploy and retract.
It’s internal and you don’t disconnect it. A second cord is attached to it
