Evertonians always had an undying spirit of togetherness against adversity and that is what will keep them in good stead. Everton are a Premier League team and although I'm an opposition fan, there is no question that Everton and Forest have been scapegoated and badly treated.

One question Colin.There is prize money for where we finish in the league,bearing in mind that we will finish a little lower because of there incompetence,do you think we should turn the table and go after the premier league in the courts even if it’s for only a tenner?

Colin is the man. Great video John. Masters needs to be told to jog on. Us an forest are the sacrificial lambs to front up against an independent regulator. This whole affair is corrupt and there is definitely an agenda. 💙

Have I got this right? The Premier League aren't accepting our change of accounting practice because if they do, it would mean they would also be accepting the need for Everton's PSR figures used in the first case to be revised which would lead to pressure on them to allow our 6 point penalty to be appealed. It's no wonder they've parked it.
That's the thing I was least clear on. Were the 1st comission (never say independent) aware of the change? Did they understand it? Did Everton make that case then or at the appeal?
@@sparking2016 Neither. I think Everton made the change of accounting practice after the appeal was complete and in time for the commission for the 2nd charge. It's the need to backdate Everton's PSR figures used in the first case which would cause the Premier league problems.
Doing my part next week, ordering 200-300 dollars of gear from Everton site, can't visit from the USA to Goodison as I would like in her last year + , because my moms bedridden and I have to stay close. We need to all pull together now that relegation is over and lets pass the dirty reds on the totem pole, with this New Stadium we need to do it in the next 5 years. COYB. Been a fan since the 80s, had an old huge Satellite 🤣till it got blocked. Now, I get every P.L. game on Peacock for $5.99 month, plus lots of TV and New Movies like Oppenheimer while it was still in theatre. I agree, Masters is a numbskull.

So effectively if this issue falls in favour of EFC then the breach in the FY22 accounts will be £6.5m less (i.e. £13m) making a bigger mockery of the PLs 6 pt deduction compared to Forests £34.5m breach which earned a 4 pt penalty ?
This is a very interesting whixh makes everything makes sense on the accounting side of the club. It seems very simple to me worked with the international and uk accounting standards. We all already knew masters and his crownies dont know what the hell they are fo john that been clear from when they intially said 2021/2022 season their was know case to answer
Excellent discussion, always is when there are adults in the room. Problem with Masters and his coterie of yes men is that there are never any adults in the room when decisions are made. Just cap doffing yes men subservient to the so called big six and the yes men interested only in their salaries and perks, and certainly not in creating a fair and level playing field so that we can watch the game we all love.

I would love you to reply to this John ? , my source : modern money mechanics , also they tell you on the Bank of England website, so someone with a mortgage agrees to work for 30 years or whatever to pay back money they created in the first place . He saying the interest cost is part of creating an asset which will be used to produce future income. That just same as a cost a price of steel.

A great watch, very informative. But dose this not bring to the fore the weakness of the board at Everton not to take on this secret society that goes under the name of the Football League. This needs to be tackled by all clubs and show a stance of solidarity (particularly among the so-called minor clubs). It maybe Everton today but it could be any other victim tomorrow.

Surely if what Colin says is true, and I don't doubt he is, what on earth were the auditors doing, and as he says the lawyers fighting for Everton omitted to bring this explanation forward in the appeal? Dear me, this is not good enough.

He is not a football man.accountants and university people getting involved in the people's game.just wanting to get on the gravy train.They will put their snout into whatever they want .Them university types getting into the peoples game and disrespecting us loyal lifelong blues.
