- In this video I headed to one of the most storied streams in the nation, the little limestone gem that is the LeTort. I fished both the fly fishing only section and the lower section, and was rewarded with a little bit of success on this incredibly difficult creek.
Nice video and great catches 👏
Nice dude
Good luck on cracking the code of the LaTort Spring Run...maybe try to euro the fast run at 2:10 in your video...and on some of the other water try wool indicators...land softer. Keep fishing...Good luck!
Unfortunately I’m a little limited because of my equipment. My only rod is a 7’6” 6wt which is amazing for small spring creeks and dry flies but it’s less than ideal for nymphing. I have a 9’5” 5wt but I don’t have line for it yet
@@mpfishing5530 Let me know if you want to fish big water...we can drift the Yough in Western PA...streamers in the fall...you will need a heavier rod than a 5wt...
@@jerrystebbins8550 if your being serious I’ll keep it in mind
Cress bugs are a really good nymph for spring creeks
It’s not the fly choice that’s causing me the problems, it’s just being able to get the fly in front of the fish without spooking them
@@mpfishing5530I have the same problem when I fish spring creeks
