- We spent two days walking a small Pennsylvania river in search of a giant Musky we've seen there in the past. We nick named him big Louie. While Louie wasn't home this time... we caught a few! Two open water hits while muskie fishing within a 10 minute window. What a fishing trip! Please like and subscribe if you enjoyed the video. Also, comment below with any questions/comments!
The "Feeding Window" is definitely real!

Dude, watched this vid probably 30 times by now, miss fishin with you. Everyone!!!! Spread the word about this guy and this UA-cam channel. Very few people are as dedicated this guy. Get on his level!! People like him make the sport fun, and still possible through proper ethics and catch and release. Brian shows every bit of that.
very enjoyable video. thanks for sharing, and tight lines.
Nice Video!!!! Happy for you Man ....keep it going
Awesome video. Helps pass the time right now.
That is so cool. I've never even seen a muskie in the wild let alone catch one. Thanks for sharing!
Golden Manuever you have to get out of bed bro
You have the best background music in your videos and even more important amazing footage.
Tight lines!
Nice show! Never tried musky fishing in creeks before. Sure looks like fun! Loved the drone shots too...I'm originally from Pittsburgh PA. Now live in Northern MI. Keep up the good work!
Nice fish!
Great video!
Awesome muskies! I've only caught tigers. Super fun fish! Purebreds are definitely on my bucket list!
Great video.
Good luck fishing guys
First time viewer, grew up in western pa fishing small creeks and rivers... it’s nice to see someone younger enjoying the same quality fishing I did as a kid! Love the drone footage too! Keep up the quality footage and tight lines bud!!
Great video bro!!👍👍👍👍
God damn. Beautifully shot, much respect for the fish and the environment, one of the best amateur videos I've seen. Well done.
Dude can cast...... Nice work Bro!
Great video. Thx
Awesome
nice catch!
nice fishing....prob really exciting being in the water and close when they hit.👍👍
okokok i know - it sure is my friend!
Nice gear, good footage, and great production. Was hoping to see more of these - Sorry to hear you are leaving the great state of PA. Good luck bro
Chris - I’ll be back to PA for more soon enough! A few salmon fishing videos from California are coming soon. Thanks man!
That’s an awesome day on the water!
Sweet!
Awesome catches man!
Cool video good to see the fish in and out so rapidly !!!
Makes we wonder why more filmmakers don't use the pause button more often instead of keeping the fish out the water for long periods of time
Nice part of the world fella you a lucky happy man
Growing up in Ireland I have fond memories of Pike fishing there, the excitement of reeling in a spoon bait and just before it comes out of the water a speeding Pike hits it like a shark. I live in Lancaster county Pa now and have been trout and bass fishing but I think it is time to go after these beautiful Predators.
Go for it man you will have a blast I promise!
Central PA has a great musky fishery right in your back yard sir!
@@nunya6874 where?
who else got anxiety when he just left his rod in the water?
I thought it was gone a few times!!
Lost mine last week 😢 first ever
If my grandaddy caught me doing that I wouldnt be able to go fishing for a month
Wow excellent video man, great quality and editing. Very nice fish too! I gave you a sub! Haven't been to that exact spot but I'm pretty sure I know where your fishing. I know a river that looks like that and follows train tracks anyway haha, lots of productive small-rivers in the twin-tiers region though! Tight lines!
The “Swatty”.
It's about time somebody mixed the right music for fishing ...
Chest deep in the river catchin Muskie. Bad ass. I’m local, right outside of Philly so I had to sub 🤙🏻
Drone footage? That was cool!
Nice video brother SUBSCRIBED
Nice video I did the same thing lastt spring In the Delaware river.
Love it !! Catching a musky is on my fishing bucket list.
I fish these spots all the time and have hooked muskie but never had the luck to land a big one! I think I met you near a ropeswing on this creek one time! Cool to see other people out there targeting these amazing fish
Thomas Miles - thanks man! See you on the water!
Nice
Thank you! 🤙🏼🎣
Gotta be from southern Pa with that Philly accent !
5 years and no one has commented the spot? Im honestly super impressed. But I think its time to atleast drop a hint or something. Send me a PM
Nice vid my brother...
Thank you!
Ah, a smart heavier tackle fisherman. He uses a left-hand reel so he doesn't have to switch hands to retrieve. You miss way less on the hitting-the-water strike. Nice !
Great video 👍! I've been struggling to get on em. Is that the T in bucks county? I don't wanna give it away.
I live in pa and that’s amazing to be able to get two muskies in ten mins bro. That’s awesome man I’d love to fish with you for a day... great video
Buen video y me gusta mucho como tratas a los lucios en captura y suelta, pero no dejes la caña en el agua que se va a estropear!saludos
Great video!!!! I haven’t been lucky enough to do battle with a Muskie yet..... Philly area might not be the best for that!!
Right inside the city! Skuykill has Plenty musky.
@@curtisbell409I’ve only had luck at blue marsh.
Hey just stumbled on your channel. Great muskies, glad you captured them on video...so hard to do that. I know the creek, because I fished it and know almost every inch. Muskies are still in those spots and doing well. Last saw about a 40" last fall. I'm surprised they have sufficient forage to sustain their size.
Paul I was there today walking and fishing. I park at the park and walk down the path all the way up to where it hits the west branch then down the other way to the trailers. I haven’t seen or caught one in the last 4 times there.
@@scottmiller2168 So I haven't been that far up stream in over a year. It appears a dam is compromised about 2 summers ago. I think some washed down to bigger water. Saw one in a strange pool last fall, it was a big one.
Paul. I am fishing the River museum tomorrow and walking up stream. I haven’t done that in awhile. The dog park and behind the soccer fields have been a bust no fish at all. I saw a few big carp. I have fished under the 95 bridge in Delaware for them but they haven’t even been in there this year. Where do you usually fish? I am just targeting muskies. If you would rather not say on the board email me at scottmiller010@gmail.com thanks Paul.
@@scottmiller2168 They are probably still there in those spots, it's been the most consistent hole to hold them for the 12 years I've fished the creek.. Ii know 15 miles well and there are only a few holes where muskies can survive/thrive year in and out.
Paul what areas do you fish?. My biggest problem right now I’m fishing from the bank with the kids. I am planning on doing some exploring tomorrow in front of the river museum which I never fished but I know it’s very deep there and walk up creek. Any spots you recommend for fishing with my kids?
Damn you guys are crazy getting in the water while fishing for them. I could only imagine a 50 on a figure 8 lol
ILL Musky Hunter I had a 43 inch pike on a figure 8 fishing in my spot about waist deep I shit my pants fell over and some how still managed to lad the fish lol.
I subed. Thanks
I caught a nice tiger musky at a strip mine in Zelionople pa.
I'm always torn in the creek, i want a short rod for maneuvering around, but i cant figure 8 with it effectively in knee deep water.
Nice advice on the back and forth release , im not sure why thr heck people do that in the first place. It drowns them , and fish dont swim backwards.
Hey man nice catches! I’m just curious what area of Pennsylvania you’re in. Mind sharing?!
Got pricked pretty good by one of those spikes in a Musky's mouth once ... took awhile to stop bleeding , lol ... now I'm more mindful of that mouth , heck I was mindful when I got pricked also but even more now ... those 2 you caught are Tigers right ?? ... anyone know what can bite right through a Steelon leader , the wire clip part , a big Walleye maybe ??
Can you tell us what type of rod, reel and line you use?
At this water fall in the nockimixon there is 7ft Muskie it’s awesome never caught one but someone else near me did
Nah my dude, there’s tiger musky there but they’re not 7’. I fish the spill way often. In fact this guys got a video from there with I musky I believe
I subbed I'm here by scranton I'd love to know where to fish these
I think that is Washington or Greene County in PA . Creek of the Mon.
Please tell me where your fishing
SouthCentrail PA here, and we walk small creeks and catch biggins
Right on man!!! 🤙🏼 🎣
Ik it's a long drive but can you try the kisi river
I think people underestimate our state for fishing. We have a fantastic fishery. As long as we all care for the water resources and practice catch and release. Along with that keeping a few now and then isn't a horrible thing. Some waterways are over populated with certain species of fish. One that I can think of is the chain pickerel. I do believe that the state needs to lower the size limit and encourage the keeping of this species. They are over populating the waterways that they inhabit.
Any tips on what to look for (water depth, etc) when fishing for pickerel and/or pike? I'm a complete novice when it comes to it and there isn't a whole lot online to learn. I've caught loads of trout, carp, catfish, panfish, a few bass.
what river is it ?
What river is this? It reminds me of the Juniata
You aint catching me standing in that deep a water with muskie the size I have seen come out of that water, I love to do kayak floats down the brandywine though for muskie and smallies!
Budd McStudd haha thanks Bud! See you on the water 🤙🏼 🎣
Budd McStudd I have caught 2 muskies from that water, from a totally different spot though. It’s really cool to have such a unique fishing opportunity just a couple minutes away
Budd McStudd you have to stop being a pussy and be a man
Ever fish the East and west brandywine creek
I have also seen big Louie, was last summer and he was more than half the length of my kayak
Where in Pa where U fishing? What river?
Is this french creek?
Casselman river?
Nice fish and awesome editing, Juniata?
theo fishing - not too far from there actually
Freshwater Finatic how far is that from Altoona?
@@freshwaterfinatic6546 Sher...... Creek? I see them while bass fishing
This is swatara creek. They stock fingerlings in there.
Cool video bud. I was skeptical when I first read the title. I was wrong.
Good stuff!
Haha yeah well it didn't actually "take 10 minutes" - it took 2 days... but then we caught two within 10 minutes. Musky fishing is funny that way.
Freshwater Finatic that’s fishing!
What stream is this?
Awesome fishing Dude... I'm new to this area I live in Cumberland County and I am about to get my fishing license and I need to get to know people like you that are familiar with the fishing holes great video I'd watched it twice and subscribed
larry San just moved to Cumberland county also. I’ve been landing small mouth on the conodoguinet every night
Cumberland county is great sad it took me this long to find this channel ever try the breeches
@@timothydrolet3041 I'm in Enola I'm yet to find a decent spot to Wade if you have any areas to share that'll be great thanks in advance
What part of French is that
What river?

Yo Gavin! That's awesome man - hope to see you on the water! Don't tell anyone where were at tho... it's kind of a hidden gem for muskies!
Gavin Labowski. Any chance u can tell me?is it near beltzville?
My Pelican 103 battery box
Is that the French Creek?I just got a really nice northern pike on the first of December 2020.
Well it’s by a wawa

Are you fishing with a tranx?
Ga Swimbaiter - Yeah it’s a tranx 401hg in the video and I also use a 301a, love them both! Thanks for checking out the video!
i know where that is... by that one tree
Down that road...
Off to the right
back in a little bit
Ohhh that spot! Been there plenty of times
The urban musky syndrome is viral’
You know you got that from wall Mart
How in the world did you get that Rod and Reel to Float?
Ark fishing might be because of the big cork handle
nice comments on not dragging them back and forth. so many people do that on vids. smh
I've always wanted to catch a muskie, and I am from PA. Can't you tell us where you are fishing please?
That's what makes fishing so great, you go and explore and find your own secret spots. I have secret spots that I don't tell, because once you tell someone that someone tells another and so on. So much water to fish in PA its incredible. I use google maps to help locate areas to fish, and PA Fish and Boat Commission website to help find streams and rivers.
Is that the penny pack creek
Did not see any used syringes so probabally not
my buddy got bit in the balls by a tiger musky once. he said he'll never float his balls while in musky water ever again.
That's funny. If he still has balls
Your buddy lied
This in the Allegheny?
Too small to be allegheny river.. Def looks like north western pa.
I caught a Real Big one with a Hula Popper!
What Creek is this? French Creek?
Your poor reel...
love your education on handling them and pointing them upstream. We as esox fishermen need to spread the word on handling! awesome footage! check me out on IG: pogo_pike
Why can yinz say where you are fishing? Are you breaking any laws? Where the hell are you?
You know the rule! ua-cam.com/video/_YhpauKGgQ4/v-deo.html
Awesome
What river ?
