The single adjustables are just for ride height the double adjustables are for ride height and the bounce of the car so if you hittin that bih the bounce of the car would be controlled because u can adjust the bounce thats what i got for mine but im still building. Its tons of videos on double adjustables
i suggest QA1 level 2, you re going to need those coilovers to raise the car for 24-26 inch wheels, and you need at least them upper control arms if they adjustable in length because big rims will pigeon toe with oem factory upper control arms, plus it comes with 1 inch taller and stronger ball joint, plus get like 14-16 inch springs,
New to your channel, It was nice to see how you did your research before spending. Try as hard to do it right the first time and save some money when possible. But sometimes you just have to go back to the lab when things don't work as you thought it would.
I'm in the Chicago area as well have a 1986 regal currently running a 350 chevy 400 trans thinking of ls swapping and building something similar just wondering about a ball park budget also just recently heard of the shop you going with thinking of doing the same subscribed also
Thanks Bro I appreciate it. It all depends on how you want your build. Your best bet is to set up a appointment with Chris at StreetCar Headquarters He cool asl. He will run down different options & pricing of all parts & labor then you could make your decision on if you want to go the LS Route.
upper control arms need to be adjustable at least, UMI 4056-1-R 64-72 A-Body Front Upper A-Arms, Adjustable, Red, and viking coilover 14" springs and u good 24x9 wheel and 2-1/2 wheel spacers with hubcentic lip
Have an '83 T-Type GN, done a brake upgrade with the 2000 Blazer hubs/spindle....just wondering if this will work with the BMR Upper and Lower control arms?
Thanks I ordered the UMI stage 2 kit with QA1 shocks. I will try BMR on my next build. I was close to ordering the kit for the Monte Carlo I just couldn't find a lot of reviews on BMR products

Not Sure about BMR. I ended up going with UmI Control arms and Qa1 Shocks. You can contact BMR support team to find out if it will work.
@@ssfamily5422 thanks man....still trying to decide lol but I need to find out if the BMR will work on the Blazer spindles.
I have level 2 bmr red on my el camino, its a night and day compared to stock. Great quality and simple to install.

@ssfamily5422 I also did the jeep steering shaft and gear box. Its a whole new car, handles and stops so much better with pretty much stock brakes.
Do you have pics of the Elco with the bmr set up. I’m thinking of going that route for my Elco as well
@@bbuffington yes I can send you some if you like?
