Hey guys! Today I’m showing you everything you need to know about rice water. If you watch hair growth videos, then I’m sure you’ve heard of how rice water is supposed to have amazing benefits for hair growth. There’s a lot of mixed information within the hair growth community of how to make and use rice water, so I wanted to make this video to give you a detailed explanation of the best way to do it.
My background with rice water:
So about a year ago, I tried a 30 day rice water rinse. Yes, I rinsed my hair with rice water for 30 days straight. I actually then made a video here on my channel about how rice water didn’t work for me. Using it everyday made my hair really dry and brittle. But, a year later, I decided to research it more, as I had basically heard nothing but good things about it since my bad experience. I found that I was using rice water way too often. Rice water, especially fermented rice water, is strong. Although everyone’s hair is different, generally, you shouldn’t be using it everyday. After trial and error, I realized that rinsing my hair with rice water for hair growth every 2-3 weeks works best for my hair. Also, I realized that although you should be washing your hair beforehand, shampooing before a rice water rinse is often too intense. Whenever I shampoo before using rice water, my hair is left really dry. So, instead, I found that using a co-wash, then a conditioner, and then rice water is the best way to integrate a rice water rinse into your hair care routine. I really hope my story will help you in figuring out the best way to integrate this amazing hair rinse into your hair care routine!

I'd been losing hair day by day. My barber suggested me to use this reactivate hair growth serum by littlexetra and received it around 2 weeks back and using it after getting it. The Yao women boil rice water with orange peels and ferment the water for half a month in a wooden barrel. In the summer they wash their hair every 3-4 days, in the winter once a week. They leave it on their hair for twenty minutes, then they rinse it off in the river.

I watched this video yesterday and I tried it today morning. And omg it worked! I let my hair soak in fermenter rice water for 20 minutes and I can feel the difference in my hair. The frizz is less, it's more shiny and first 2-3 inches from the roots feel stronger. Go for it. xx

imagine being a mouse you don't need to waste the rice. Everyday when you wash the rice, put some of the water in a cup and use it when you wash your hair. You don't have to keep the rice in the water when using it.
If you really want to try get a airport travel size spray bottle and put like 2 tablespoons and let it sit I don’t think your family will starve if missing 2 tablespoons of rice

All you need to do is
Rinse the rice 2-3 times
Strain the dirty rice water
Store in a sealable container
Carefully transfer the rice in the container
Then fill it with water
Shake it up
Leave it for a day or so or use it straight away it's better to leave it to get all the nutrients
Use orange peels or essential oil to make it smell good
Then put the rice water in a spray bottle
Rinse your hair
Then section the hair
Then spay the water from the roots to the ends
Make sure to get each and every strand
Massage your hair as you do it
Then take the remaining rice water and put it directly
Leave it into your hair for 15 mins
After that rinse the rice water out
Then finish with normal hair care routine
Recommended to not use heat after apply every 1week

Rice water does work. I tried this few months ago kept it straight away on my hair for about 20 minutes and washed it,let it air dry. And compared to other days i wash my hair it was less frizzy.

It worked for me it obviously isn’t going to work in a week you need patience and yeah it makes your hair smell bad but that’s why you should shampoo your hair twice so the smell doesn’t get too bad

Castor oil. Massage into scalp, wrap hair in an old towel (it can get messy) and leave overnight. To be repeated every weekend or when your mom’s staying at home. It can make hair a bit darker tho. Also vitamins A & E
Get her blood test done. She might be deficient in vitamin d or iron and if you figure out the underlying cause of what's chasing the hairloss you can help your mother's hair alot more than extensions which can cause further hairloss .

Audrey, I have low porosity hair, I think every other week doing this rinse with rice water will do, but I’ll let you know, I also do oiling with jojoba oil, argon oil and rosemary oil all in one glass dropper bottle, I leave it on 1 hour and then rinse the oils out of my hair. I never blow dry, just air dry it.
My husband loves rice & we literally eat it everyday and I’ve been draining the water like it’s nothing, now I know what to do with it haha thank you for a great video!
Tip if your watching this and worry about the 'dirt and impurities' on rice. It is actually called starch. Its just starchy water. You don't need to worry if you don't rinse rice but it does help get rid of the starch. Its not 'dirty' though it's just starch. Hope this helps ☺

i used to do it a few years ago for every other day when i washed my hair. I left it on my hair and blow dried it. Now, I know I did it wrong after watching this video. The rice water did help my hair grow but my hair became very dry and curly in a weird way. My scalp was not very healthy and dry. I stopped using the rice water since then. But, I will try it again now. The key is I need to use it less frequent and NOT to leave in on my hair. I need to rinse it after 15 - 20 minutes. Hope it will work this time. Thanks for sharing your tips.

Speak over your hair every day. Say, I have thick, long, healthy hair. Use the inversion method for one week only. Then use moisturize your scalp. Rice water may or may not be for you but you can have perfect hair if you believe it and eat healthy and drink plenty of water.

My hair might grow half an inch a month if I'm lucky, so I definitely need to try this!
My hair has always grown naturally faster than most people I know. I started using rice water a few years ago just to give my hair a little extra nutrients and to kept my scalp clean
I'm here to grow out the bangs I cut in the middle of the lockdown

edit: thank you guys for all the positive comments and a quick update my hair has grown so much and i have less acne and it keeps reducing everyday and my face is getting clearer by the day and im so happy to see what 2021 has planned for me and i will continue to keep you all updated!!
edit 2: you guys i love twisting my hair and i noticed it got a whole lot longer to twistt!!! and the shine is very very beautiful!! i also pierced my ears and they look so so beautiful and my acne arent really that bad anymore it getting clearer by the day!!! thank you for all the positive comments!

Doing this and taking ALOT of vitamins will have your hair grow so fast last year i was taking so many vitamins a day and my mom noticed my hair was getting super long but i just cut it all off so now i’m here again

i used the rice water and heres the results.
1. My hair was much softer and smoother
2. it was so easy to detangle.
3. my hair was glowing and look nice the entire week
I truley recommend this its so easy to make and its amazing!!
TIP: always do leave the rice water in warm room temperatures for at least 24 hrs before applying the rice water.
