    I'm not an artist, more of an engineer. It's still fascinating to me how the human body takes advantage of these mechanical joints to allow us to move. The human body is an incredible machine

    i find it funny that I use to watch your videos when I was a beginner artist a few years ago. Now here I am still watching your anatomy videos as i study to become a doctor. I actually prefer your artist-oriented anatomy videos as a good intro since medicine-oriented anatomy videos tend to make the simplest things hard to wrap your head around.

      Yep true. One of the perks of animation videos is that they show us what exactly happens inside our body. Like they take us into their own world which the tons of description couldn't do. Pictures are better restored than words!

    Wonderful video Proko! There were a few things I didn't know - for instance, the clavicular/acromial joint type. I also didn't know that the carpals functioned as saddle joints. Very interesting!
    You just unlocked a few curiosities with regards to other parts of the body as well that I'm going to go research.

    Nice video!!!
    But the connection between the pubic bones called *PUBIC SYMPHYSIS* contains Fibrous Cartilage and we cant say that it doesn't move at all because in female during pregnancy the pubic symphysis expands and protects the uterus!!!

    I wish I'd had this video when I was in osteology/forensics in college back in the day. When I decided to learn to draw I was so glad to have studied bones. Fave bone is the sphenoid but it's not one focused on by artists (except zombie artists.) Still a fun bone to draw.

    0:38 not true, Pubic bones have an amphiarthrotic joint. They allow slight movement.

      Correct; the pubic symphysis allows slight movement. example: during labor.
