I remember finally getting the full version just to find out that the game had a stationary final boss that just sends waves of regular enemies at you... I felt the same way about the Icon of Sin.
Friendly Tip the shambler is immune to Splash damage so it's taking barely any damage from explosives your best bet it's the lighting gun or Both Nail guns if you can get it to where the shambler won't follow you down stairs just use your shotguns don't bother waisting the ammo for the Nail guns
In the end I was a little shocked when I saw a Shambler standing there on a pile of bodies (I thought for a moment that Player somehow transformed into it!). Nice ending! (I would be absolutely trashed and assf*cked by the Vores there!) Quake - rules! 🤘🤘🤘
The mission packs/expansion whatever you want to call them were all made by different companies than ID, but they were official releases. Dimensions of the Past was released in 2016 as a 20-year anniversary.
In the add-on "Underdark Overbright & Copper" if you complete the Quake campaign, the final boss instead of being the original boss fight with Shub-niggurath it will be the one in the video. Or you can just select the map "END: Mothers be good to your spawns" in the map select (With the add-on "Underdark Overbright & Copper" active). Hope this helps :)

Why shoot shambler from rocket launcher? Explosives only bring him half damage
Why even have him on boss list? He's also available a couple of levels earlier. Guess author playing on easy.

Shamblers are explosion-resistant, not explosion-proof.
Shoot at it until it dies.
First time I saw Cthon I nearly dropped my soul as loot.

Id should have kept the dark fantasy/gothic theme for Quake 2 and 4. Or at least do a crossover that links the two games.

With rocket and grenade launcher I always aimed in front of the target not directly at it.
