Hell yeah more 4.0s need the flow fx. I put one on a xj a year ago now thats the only muffler to use for them. The straight tube muffler case style is better sounding
PSA to people thinking about buying this setup: I drilled about 15 5/16" holes into the bottom of my stock muffler and it has a nearly identical sound to this setup. Haven't noticed any loss of performance or any downsides so far. I Was thinking about a muffler delete, but I didn't want the drone noise or obnoxious sound levels, so I compromised, and im pretty happy with it. So, if a better sound is all you're looking for, I'd recommend at least grabbing a drill bit and punching some holes to see if you like it or not. If you don't, then buy a exhaust setup, but you can save a ton of money messing around with the stock exhaust yourself.

How does it sound. At highway speeds. Just bought one for mine
It sounds very awesome. My question is does it add any type off performance gain??
Minor improvement, maybe 1 MPG. A little bit more throttle responsiveness.
It definitely adds 10 HP
HAPPY PERSON . The formula is it makes you as happy as 10 people
Y lil back pressure? I deleted my muffer n just have a St8 pipe.
am I in another world? since when does a 4.0 have the O2 sensor down there on the pipe? Thats 4.7 isnt it?
Non CA emissions 4.0s had it down there. The CA compliant ones did not.
Sounds mean man
Don’t worry, shr don’t bite.
did the cat change the sound at all
I would say no, but I did both at the same time.
How does it sound on the highway?
There is a little drone. The Flow master 44 sounds a tad deeper, seems to drone a little less than this muffler.
What size tires ?
245/70/16. Essentially 29.5". I recently went to 31s, Michelin LTX 2s. Highly recommend for daily driving. As well does well for minor off road.

Staring from where ? Right behind the cat and the whole way to the rear ?
Yeah I’m curious where you started from too
Yea no that's not going to sound the same...
Not so sure about that friend.
Won’t sound the same from afar tho. But if you like mechanics cracking jokes about you…
It’s all in your imagination
I’m pretty sure
No check engine light? You need to turn in your Jeep card! Lol
Lol, this WJ has been a champ. Even all my electrics work too! Who would have thought.
I am a troll and live under a yellow cement bridge.
Back pressure problems?
Nope
