Very well presented. I just received one, and your video Picture in Picture really helped follow your tour through the menu. I like your furry assistant! Rufus is Very well mannered!
Thanks for the video mate, I always wondered why you had to code in a battery to a car but I understand now why this is. It's not the battery specifically, it's the Battery Management System in the car that looks after it. BMS. It's a nice piece of kit, and I am tempted to get something like this for my 2006 Focus ST. I do all sorts of things to it, next is play with the electrical systems! It's all learning and great fun. Keep the great videos coming, love them. Give Rufus a chin scratch from me. )))
Does it work with octavia4/golf8 gen cars - or with all vw meb cars? All traditional obd readers work with older cars, but 4. Gen octavia or 8. gen golf are different and all evs. Not even vcds can communicate with those
When I connect it to to my 2016 Skoda, it says on a screen that if it's Skoda after 2019 - I need to open the bonnet to perform diagnostics... Presumably it should work with new VAGs, but the best is to ask a seller.
It's on 422.000 miles now. I don't drive it much, it has run out of taxi licence due to the age, so I just keep it for now, not sure what I'm going to do with it.
It's a piece of junk mine didn't last a year I have a $500 paperweight I was sold a used one at new cost it had been refurbished and sold again caution do not buyand sold again caution do not buy D7
@@wawayltd if you do that they just keep it and don't do anything they only have 30 days warranty. They sent me a previously returned item so they would just keep it and sell it to someone and no refund to me at all. Thats the game.
@@wawayltd well ya I got it in the middle of winter. It powered up and updated nicely so I thought it was ok. I didn't pay attention to the warranty because I didn't have multiple vehicles to test with. Thats my mistake. I didn't think I would have to go hunting for vehicles to test on. The xtool box that came inside the ship box was all slashed up indicating it was a previously returned item. I didn't discover its problem till a few months later when spring came. I let my guard down. ua-cam.com/video/7pVc47rdcto/v-deo.html
If I had waited until spring to order it would have better. We had about 3.75 ft of snow on ground and I don't have a heated garage. I bought it thinking that it would be ready to go come spring. Since then I got a foseal Bluetooth obd2 and also an elm327 and they work great. No more 400 dollar tablet scanners they don't have much warranty time and they have a high defect rate thats why the short warranties.

Can the vehicle be identified by the chassis number?
It should be.
Can You measure automatic transmisión temperature?
I'm pretty sure, it should be able. But the best is to check with the seller.
Hi,
Does it do mileage correction ?
Don't know. In modern cars "mileage correction" is more complicated than just changing numbers on the odometer. I'm glad it is that way.
My car does not exceed 100 miles, so I want to exceed this number
