Great clip and thanks for sharing. Yes Turon National Park is a beautiful spot, not quite as good as it used to be for a few reasons but still a great weekend or midweek spot to camp. And how fun is that Pinnacle Fire Trail, especially that red clay once it gets a bit damp ....... we frequent it out there and now lockdown's all but done and dusted, can't wait to get up there again. Yeah you've got to watch those soft river pebbles, they swallowed a 200 Cruiser and camper trailer down to the diff on one of our trips too 😆😆 Geez you're keen going down that steep rocky scrabbly section at the 11:00 mark with pretty much stock vehicles ... just remember if you have to come back up a hill like that ( fallen tree or closed track at the bottom ) and you've got no proper recovery points or a winch, you can be stuck out there for quite a while until an expensive tow truck comes out. Just one thing to always remember, be VERY careful camping so close to the waters edge as whilst it may be calm and still there, heavy rain miles up river can have a tsunami 🌊🌊🌊 of water come through there in a flash - LITERALLY. If you're in bed at 2am in the morning and you don't have time to get out - it can be a very tragic ending to a great trip away - not too mention there goes your nice new shiny Navara's etc . There are clips online of water roaring down the Turon River only 12 months or so back. You've only got to look up in the trees at the line of debris marking how far up the river went, it's quite frightening so just a heads up. 👍 And please, for the love of all campers out there who love these spots as much as you guys did, please DON'T take your dog into a national park !! It's not only illegal but it's adding to the exact reason why more and more areas are getting locked off😥😥 . You cannot have a pet, of any kind - dog or cat, in a national park. If you were caught, and we see rangers and police patrol through Turon all the time, you are up for a fine of $300 - $400 per pet - ouch 😣 ! It does state it on the signs and NPWS won't take any excuses, they'll just write out fines. For all of us, please don't add to the problem otherwise next time you go out there, you may find NPWS have put up a huge big gate and padlock stopping all of us getting in. This wrecks it for us all. 😟😭 Cheers 👍😉
Looks like a great trip, I'm glad you learned the lesson of not camping in a riverbed, if you were to look in the branches of the tree above you, you'd see debris from the flash floods that come through there. As long as you keep learning, you'll have a lot of fun in the future.
" if you were to look in the branches of the tree above you, you'd see debris from the flash floods that come through there." - 100% agree mate, can really catch people out. Glad someone else picked up on it too, can never be too safe and great to encourage others to get out and about but yes, got to be safe at the same time. 👍👍
Don’t forget to lower your tyre pressures too ( if you didn’t that is ) because at the 9:00 mark, struggling up that rocky section, you’d walk that normally with your pressures down around 20 psi. You can always let more out again and then pump back up when required 😉👍
Thank you soo much for sharing these videos, I really appreciate it.
great video
great driving boys, well done

Looks good, I think you need to reduce your pressures. Probably 25 psi max.
Looks like an epic trip! Keep it up ✌
