good videos guys and it's a lovely spot through Turon.....just please remember to stick to the dedicated tracks in there too.....NPWS have closed off a heap of spots in there now since the start of the year for "regeneration"due to people cutting their own tracks in everywhere. Let's not give them any more excuses to close tracks.
Really depends on what u want to do with eg tough tracks or just get to camps spot etc. they’re not the strongest 4by, but if you treat them right, and pick the right line, they will get you where u want to go. Just have fun with it!
Great Vid Mate... all your other ones too. I know this post is a year old but any chance you can point me to a map with your route? I want to get on this trail. Thanks.
Mike Inigo I went via turon gates, ideally it’s best to get some maps, either paper or digital and couple that with google earth to work out ur route. Most of the tracks I find which are 4wd required, are off the actual route and just me exploring what I can see on my maps tbh
Hadn’t heard of Hollow Coves (artist) until watching this video. Thanks. If you like that style check out The Panics, you may be slightly too young to know of them. If not all good but if yes start with Sleeps Like a Curse album. Ps good tracks, looks like snorkels not required anywhere on Turon?
hi man, cheers for the video... been wondering how to get to sofala from turon via the river, but never bothered because of all the locked gates these days. So if im watching this right you have to go via turon gates ?
done this trip the other week, thanks bro wouldnt have done it without your vid, the sky opened up on us just as we got to then end of the river, flooding rain was an awesome weekend
Nice vid, I’m doing that track in a few weeks but I’ll be gold panning along the way. Looks dry out there, did you see much exposed bedrock in the river?
It was bone dry when i was there, but i've seen a couple of more recent video's where the river had water flowing through. Jesterscruiserlife has been there not too long ago check his video's out.
hi mate, i got my bar from opposite lock. The brand is called Xrox. It's a good bar for the price, plus its hard to find many aftermarket shops that support Grand Vitara's or Suzuki's for that matter..
@@davidnoble6546 Lol i had the same problem! when i bought the bar they were not sure if it was going to fit mine (2dr 2003). but it went on without a problem

The famed. The beautiful. The mighty Turon
Hey mate, looks beautiful. I am looking at getting a 5 door GV and turning it into a tourer/offroad rig. Any tips from your experience?
