Kirk W It's hardly obvious. Many decks that are winning can lose and many decks that are losing can win. Tempo decks like rouge however are unlikely to do that.
Kirk W The entire premise of winning while losing is the basis of every single priest deck there is. It sounds stupid outside of the context of hearthstone, but is very correct inside the context of hearthstone.
*Kripperino orders Ogre to attack* Ogre: Wait a moment ol' chap. Farewell old bean! *charges in* Kripp: What a fucking dumbass! Liek if you cri evrytiem!
alfa0i0omega I never knew that ogres could unstealth minions like that. I know random target spells leave the minion in stealth if they hit it (like flamecannon on ravenholt assassin), but I guess I've never seen a stealth minion get attacked. I wonder if this is just with the cloak field or if it works on minions with intrinsic stealth.
Jesse Frederick actually, they unstealth if they attack, or cause damage, so if it dealt no damage it would not have unstealthed. Interesting, I assume if the ogre had divine shield too, the minion would not have unstealthed, as it would have been dealt no damage?
Carbon 12 I bet that's exactly it. That makes a lot more sense. It's forcing the stealthed minion to do damage in counter attacking. I suspect you're also correct about if they both had divine shields. Divine shields allow lots of weird exceptions, like if you implosion a divine shield it doesn't summon imps since it did 0 damage.
Alexander Markström Actually, Merriam-Webster just added a secondary definition to the word "literally" to mean, in effect, figuratively. www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/literally i.imgur.com/OIqidhy.jpg
Alexander Markström Cool story about reading comprehension, because you were obviously referencing the word *hedidit55* used when you said he was overreacting.
I've played a lot with this card myself, since even back in my early experiences in the closed Hearthstone beta I've been a fan of trying to make rogue decks that will destroy the meta. Basically, I see this as a card that rogues certainly can use, but is not what they needed...and that is for a number of reasons. One, rogues already have a hard enough time with having good stat-line minions for their class cards; aside from Anub'ar Ambusher (who has what I view as a negative deathrattle), most of the rogue class specfic minions are crap when it comes to stats and a 4/3 for 5 does not help at all in that respect. Even SI:7 Agent doesn't really hold up well anymore due to 3/3 for 3 being on the weak side now. People shouldn't be surprised anymore that the most popular rogue deck at any given time relies on a gimmick; its because rogues simply cannot go toe-to-toe on the board with anyone! Two, the battlecry is situational at best. Unless your opponent happens to be one of those really bad face hunters that uses nothing but two or less health minions in his deck, chances are you're not really gonna get insane value out of the Skulkers battlecry. And even if you use the Skulker against a full board of undamaged minions, regardless of how much health they have, you still might get the feeling of, "How does this help me again?" Sure, maybe it'll kill a minion, two if your lucky, but most of the time a lot of their minions will still be alive and you'll be at 5 less mana for the turn. And three, the battlecry is way overpriced for what it *actually* accomplishes. On paper, Blizzard, and maybe a lot of the community, thought this guy would be a 4/3 minion that also consecrates a board of 7 minions. Such value, much wow. In practice though, it usually ends up being a 5 mana SI:7 Agent with 1 more attack. But hey, that's just my thoughts. Should you still want to try this guy out for yourself, he seems to work...decently in rogue decks that really emphasize on early board control; that means decks that only bring a 1 of the Tinker's Sharpsword Oil and ditch those Southsea Deckhands for minions that battle more for the board, like the Goblin Auto Barber and Spider Tank.
I also tried to make a Control Rogue with Skulkers and 1 Gang Up. Skulker is awesome against agressive decks, but I had some problems against control decks. Rogue doesn't has enough great hard removals, They are to expensive.
(This regarding constructed) So I disagree with your first couple statements about rouge. Oil Rouge usually is "losing" in the opening turns due to you being mostly a control deck with comboish finish. around turn 4-6 is when you want to turn the tables, and out of no where gain huge advantage. So i think this is a great 1 of in the deck that helps you with minion aggro type decks. I think it is a must have for new Oil rouges
I wish this card wasn't the rare so that I would get it in my Rogue drafts (already have done 4 Rogue runs since it came out and have failed to get one). But then again, I guess I'm glad it isn't a common because it would compete for the most insane common card, certainly the best Rogue common (and naturally every Rogue I would face would have it).
I messed around with this card this week, and I had a pretty bad experience. Every now and then it would save my ass; however, I found it too slow most the time, it popped eggs, and is useless vs ERYBODYGETINHUR! His health is garbage as well. Most the time by the time you play this card, the game has already been decided.
Kripp: What's your approximate win/loss versus Helten? I realize you show wins to demonstrate a card or what not, but I'm just curious if you kick the crap out of him almost all the time or if he beats you up just as much?
Am I the only one who doesn't skip the kripp? I actually value his opinion and I feel as if his experience trumps the fact that he plays Helten every other game.

***** I'm sure there are dozens of people in his friends list that are 'halfway decent' at the game, not to mention the best way to test a gimmicky deck is to ladder it. Kripp you should do a comparisson of nax cards and brm cards
got 3 of those in arena. literally the best thing that happened to me.
Needs moar traps!
I was laughing at that.

It's his friend , they play together when they want to have some fun, like some shitty or creative decks.
Per sona Why do you care who helten is? Are you jelly?
Per sona parallel universe Kripp
Per sona A guy he knows he will beat 90% of the time.
Per sona his father
Tried a "Brute" rogue deck (healbots, blades, SI-7, pirates, and these guys)
Worked okay

This card is amazing against face hunters
8:30 - 13:37 Skiperino helten fight.
How do you know how many wins your opponent has in the arena?
7:45 how did he just divine shield a stealth card?

Decklist for the last duel ?
sick card imo.
4:55 to skipp the kripp
No dislikes? Let me fix this.
This card can occasionally be ridiculous, I once lost an arena game because the skulker decimated most of my board singlehandedly
I like the card!

I fast forwarded to 6 mins and i honestly thought it was constructed, that hand
