English is not my 1st language so my apologies for the mistakes, but I have to say something about this (awesome in my opinion) mech. Like you said Kripp, it's very nice when you got it from the portal because it costs only 6 mana. One time I got it with the portal and my opponent was winning, with 7 creatures on the board. I played it turn 6 and he didn't trade it with his creatures (fortunately). The turn after, turn 7, I played flammestrike and got 6 gnomes ; he conceded. Ok I do agree it's just one time this happend but I was really like WTFFF and for this I love this mech ;) !

Tyler Durica Thats not entirely true. Sure, Kel'Thuzad resurrects your minions. And Mekgineer summons Leper Gnomes. In order to kill him, he generally gets to summon 1 or 2 Leper Gnomes if you have no board. Otherwise, you may get EVEN more Leper Gnomes.

If you're playing mage for example, you might have the option to polymorph hero power a giant. How efficient is that for tempo when your opponent paid 2-4 mana for an 8/8? I want to try a Thermaplugg rogue deck: Thermaplugg, conceal, then Leeroy, shadowstep, Leeroy, prep, fan of knives, rsulting into the 4 whelps dying from the fan and giving you 4 lepper gnomes (and the double Leeroy attack) It's probably a pretty bad deck, but it can be fun.

Onyxia is a great card! She's wonderful in top-deck wars and in token druid decks. Either way it puts an entire board on the field with one big minion.
JenesisGaming reversing his stats would actually be a deal because u need to send even more crap to kill him, spawning more gnomes. BGH is not the only card and is prolly used before turn 9. Problem of this card is that it is balanced and fair and u cant afford to keep that kinda card in ur deck.
Aced Positive i guess there is no difference in reversing his stats, because if your opponent has to send in his minions u win in both cases and on both versions your opponent can use all hard removals. with 2 more life u get one more leper gnome which doesn't matter because in the other case the therma plugg itself has 2 attack more.
Tim Fable if you get 2 lepper gnomes and not 1 it means you already killed 3 minions with the card on top of that u get 2 (shitty) minions it makes it a 4/5 for 1. Also lepper gnome not only has 2 attack but also a deathrattle with 2 damage. In hearthstone 7attack kills many things as well as 9 attack so kinda 7=9 in many scenarios however every life point matters so 7 will never equal 9 health. But the truth is the card is garbage and will prolly still be trash level if it was 7/9.
I played this card in a shaman deck with ancestors call & far sight & using far sight to get this or lightning storm & playing both of them together on turn 9+ wins most games instantly.
I can also only think of warrior where he could be viable. If he survives a round and you got a warsong commander next turn, he basically wins you the game - infinite charge leper gnom until board is cleared while still hitting for 2 every time they die.
been using this card with paladin i managed to make work on EU Reason i use him on paladin is because you got Redemption so he can always be resummoned. its a fun card to play with. Kel'thuzad, Redemption, you got plenty of weapons its not the most synergy card but it works.
At about 18:40 I don't really understand... Since he assassinated the taunt and it did two damage to the warlock, wouldn't the other minion have gained +2/+2?

One day, I used this legendary (one of the fiew I got when GvG realeased) in the Handlock deck and I can say, that it works pretty well with the card shadowflame (on a leper gnome or drake or whatever) and the other legendary ogre mogor
I wanted to try out a Warrior deck with Mekgineer and Warsong Commanders. I got them in arena and ended up beating a really good mage deck because of it. I played mekgineer into mirror entity like an idiot but I killed one of his minions with one of mine and we both spawned a 2/1 Leper Gnome, my health was higher so i just kept trading my infinitely spawning leper gnomes into his infinitely spawning leper gnomes and ended up winning. Never got a hold of mekgineer in constructed though and didn't want to spend the dust.
Your enemy could just ignore the two bots and the only class to trigger the bots with even some value is Mage. So 7 mana basically take out 2 space of your board.
I am always screwed when someone plays Therma in both arena/constructed, it happens rarely, but when it happens, you get rekt most of the time. Ofc timing is crucial with him.

kripp, hi, ive been watching your videos recently and the topic of a high control meta on the near horizon has made me think new decks. my first idea was a pure deletion priest with double shadow word pain and death and double mind control, cabal shadow preist and lightbomb and that sort of junk. perhaps think about it or i can share my idea
i kinda made a deck like that (i dont know why 2 pains against control i only have 1 pain and i have 1bgh instead of a death) and i am at rank 11 with this deck atm, but sometimes I put out the second mind control because still to many mech mages.
kripp here is an idea, what if you combo the mekgineer thermaplugg with warrior and the card which gives the minions with less than 3 attack charge? so you inmediately clear the board and finish with a lot of leper gnomes, wouldnt that be nice? PD: sorry from my english i speak spanish, thats why i dont know the name of the card im telling you xD
there is some "bugs" with that warrior card, it dont work on most cards that summon minions, so that combo wont work. Blizzards are not sure if they will change it so it only works on cards you play or they will fix the bug.
It shows how much the game is crappy when one single card is unbalanced. That's like the forth card you say that would be interesting without DrBoom bs.
This is just like Magic the Gathering. When everyone would say does it pass the terminate test!? The big game hunter is the same issue, doesn't always mean that the card isn't that bad because it dies to it. /nerds This card still sucks though either way.

Mekgineer would work a lot better if it was a 6 - 9 for 8 mana.

He is usable only in arena, he's useless compared to the other 9- mana costs except may be Onyxxia. He would be more viable if he were 7/9

It only buffs if you take damage during your turn, read the description. If it worked on any damage, it would be the most broken thing ever.
