She’s a PHENOMENAL Singer. I saw her LIVE in San Diego, in 2002? 2003? It was Rock Steady Tour. And, she Sounded Just like she does Listening to her Album. In Highschool, She had a Huge influence on me Musically.

No Doubt came to a Pop Festival in Venezuela back in the 2000's, it was absolutely EPIC, they gave it their all and Gwen was so emotional, especially when she sang "Don't Speak" with that huge spanish speaking crowd singing right along with her, she is a great vocalist, and i'm sure she still remembers that concert, too bad it didn't end up in like a DVD or something that i know of, she's just amazing.

She is a great singer, but she is stating that she is not a vocalist. She definitely has a unique sound and knows exactly how to use it. But she isn't classical by any means. Which is great. She has vocalised so many iconic and enjoyable songs.
Adele and Beyoncé are more technically accomplished singers, to name just two.
"Waiting Room" is a great Prince collab. The "All I can do is wait for you "chorus is so sweet, the nervous energy of the synths is intense, but the "If we both want the love" pre-chorus with its detuning harmonies is genius.
