The idea that people like this still exist gives me hope.
We live in a world where everything is shrouded in a protective layer of irony. Joe is perhaps the only comedian committed to complete sincerity and it gives me hope.

My paternal grandmother passed today. I lived with her as a teen and as an adult Joe Pera talks with you has been a massive comfort and spoke to a lot of weird idiosyncrasies I had picked up by being raised in massive parts by two beautiful loving members of the silent generation. The entirety of this show feels like a hug and the last episode never ceases to make me cry as Abide with Me plays out of its earnity idk what it is.
The last five years have been a hard albeit gentle succumbing to dementia and later alzhiemers but the wit, humor, and clarity of certain things of that generation or maybe just grandmas have,I can hear echo out of Nana and her friends and everything to the furniture and music have helped make me feel at home in my adulthood while I try to make one best as I can by what they taught me.
I'm grateful to have been my Tita's grandchild and thank you Joe Pera for painting a portrait that beautifully depicts that unconditional love and grief in a really human and soft way.
Watching this before bed was a treat after a really hard day thank you.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I just lost my cousin on the 19th, only 5 days away from his 37th birthday... it's been a doozie for sure but watching this was really comforting. Sending lots of warm wishes and hopes for many blessings in the new year to you, and to YOU as well, dear reader.

This has become a yearly tradition in our household, and I find myself singing "Snow Snow Snow" and "Snow Snow Snow Snow" for weeks afterward.
I hate that Adult Swim canceled your show. This video helped get your show picked up by them. Also, thus video is still one of my favorites and I'm said that we will never get to see what Joe and Sarah were going to do with the lot that Joe bought with the money from selling his Nana's house. Thinking of that made me think of my own grandma that had passed from cancer that she had everywhere. But anyway, I hope you and your extended family will have/had a great holiday this year Joe. And I like your soothing voice and how funny you can be. I hope to see one of your shows sometime in the future, when you come to Denver again

Thank you Joe!! I know the chances may be slim, but a ton of us would love a blu-ray set of the show so we don’t have to worry about it going away or into the Adult Swim vault. I know that’s probably not something you have a lot of control over, but maybe if enough of us make enough noise it could persuade the powers that be?

I think I felt something from that like a sense of belonging the sense of it gets tough for everybody around the holidays trying to find the perfect tree for Christmas but we can find meaning and joy, no matter our differences on this beautiful little planet we call home.
You really are a true artist, Joe Pera. Theres something very inspiring about the shows you create. I really hated that your show on adult swim ended, all we can do now is appreciete what you were able to create. Thanks for being cool.

I’m so glad that you uploaded this to UA-cam for all to see, as I can’t seem to find it anywhere else. While visiting family for the holiday, this came on after an airing of _Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory_ so I recorded and watched it with my Mom and it started a nice, lengthy conversation about pine trees. I didn’t get to put up a tree this year, in fact for most of my life my family had an artificial tree. But that was okay with me because I could still decorate it with my family with a cup of hot cocoa. I think that’s the important part of a Christmas tree in the end: it’s what you do with the tree itself that counts. Either way, I’d probably go with a pine tree if I had to choose one. I hope you found the right tree this year and I wish we all could have helped you find it on Adult Swim where you truly belong. I’m sorry they couldn’t see that. Merry Christmas Joe :)
