Great collection. We grow several species of palms on our island here in the north Pacific off of the sw coast of Canada. Mule palms are beautiful. We have Butia x Jubaea and also a Butia x Jubaeax Syagrus
At the risk of sounding picky, @1:20, "Sago" is a Cycad. Also, the "Australian Ribbon" palm looks more like a Sabal with those more costapalmate leaves, larger petioles absent of spines and if the palm @1:33 is the same palm @1:45, it would appear to be lacking the trunk fiber found in Livistona australis. Great collection just the same!
he lives in sunny california. come here to Canada and talk about cold hardy.
Another pro about hybrid palms is that they are less weedy.

Were you in USDA zone 9?
The "sago" isn't a real palm, snymore than a banana plant or fern tree is.
