    It would interesting to see power to rpm instead of mph. Because every bike has its own rollout and gear ratios. Quick little wire to the spark plug 👍

    I recognize that power curve on the CDH pipe, I’ve been using one for a while now and it feels just like that. I’m a little surprised that it shows so much horsepower on the dyno though! I figured it would be somewhere around 2-3 max. Anyhow, despite it being in no way a proper expansion pipe, a bolt-on 2.5hp+ gain is definitely worth the investment. Plus it sounds good and fits most bikes very well. It’s the best crappy pipe that I recommend to anybody.

      If you are on the FB groups or the motored bikes Forum you'll see the dyno graphs of the CDH pipe vs my hydroformed pipe. I think we hit 6.5HP with the hydroformed, way more than any off the shelf pipe we've tried.

      I should probably buy a half link and fix that... It doesn't ever go on the road, only the dyno so worst case it jumps off and locks the back wheel up.

      On which run? I spent about 10min each exhaust swapping jets and needle clips, what we got on the graphs was the best of all runs for each pipe.

      @@SafetyUggs I’m not talking down one bit. I forgot the load isn’t like riding the bike on the road so it didn’t sound right to me

      @@justanothermotorizedbikech5138 I can turn on the eddy brake on the dyno for a static load, but as far as the inertia dyno works, it is the same as riding on a flat level surface and accelerating. A dyno run takes between 6 seconds and 12 seconds, depending on the HP. I guess that would be similar for a lightweight rider on the road accelerating?

    How good is yourDyno. Is that an inertia setup or you have active brake on the roller

      YourDyno has been great! It just works. Before this I tried an Arduino setup and that was a constant struggle to get repeatable results.
      This chassis Dyno was originally Vane branded and has a Telma CC115 retarder that is controlled by the YourDyno Eddy brake controller.
      These bikes struggle to spin up the Eddy so for these runs it is decoupled (the vane chassis can decouple rollers automatically by pneumatic rams) in purely inertia mode.
      Zero regrets with the YourDyno hardware, it's pricey but still cheap compared to what a new dyno would cost.

      @@SafetyUggs Yeah thats cool. I helped build a water brake setup for outboard motors (boats) using YourDyno, uses a stepper motor water valve and a big ass 3 phase water pump to apply load at the propeller shaft. Seems to work OK , few little bugs in the YourDyno software but overall works well. I wish I could film it but he doesn't want photos or videos on line for other tuners to duplicate the setup lol

    I use what most people call a banana pipe and i dont notice much gain but j havent ran the stock exaust since i but the motor on a mtn bike frame instaed of the bmx so its hard to say

    Can you try different carbs? BoFeng, PZ19 or whatever, etc.? Also different jet sizes. Would be interesting if you get a YD100, try it completely stock (before and after break in), clean up the ports of flakes, then make it wider?, etc

      I've tested the BoFeng, HP and Tillotson carbs..I need to edit and upload. Also tested the power incorrect jetting makes, and I've tested before and after some light porting and widening the exhaust.
      My magneto delaminated and exploded during a run so I'm waiting for a replacement to wrap up those videos.
