At my request, he even added more red sand than he normally puts to match the original more. I gave the hourglass away to a great friend of mine for safe keeping because I just moved to France. I emailed David a few months back thinking I could buy another one from him to send to France. I didn’t hear back. Now I read the devastating news that he has passed. I’m so sorry to hear this. He truly was a master at his craft and also, simply a great guy. Now I need to find another place to get a replica from.
Thank you for the info. I ordered one of these early last year and he kept blowing me off. Finally I had contact with last October. Then suddenly nothing. His phone number was also disconnected. Just thought I got scammed out of $300. How did you get in contact with his wife?
