Great hacks. Thanks for sharing. Just curious whether you know of a hack to use the phycical volume buttons on the iPhone to control the shutter (as opposed to having to always rely on the tiny red circle on the Insta APP.

Tips from a mean bugger like me. Bullet time can be done with a piece of vertical blind cord or similar. Tripod stabiliser, convenient bricks, rocks or sand in a sock or two. Thanks for the hacks .
Turning independent white balance on in my X3 produces a clearly-visible transition between the lenses due to the different WB values. Is there a way around this? For static photos where I can frame away from that, or video from a single lens is fine, but full 360 is a mess because of the two "halves" looking different. Any tips?
Yes a lot of the time the isolated exposure creates a horrible line and is only useful for each single lens. Sometimes it works really well in some circumstances. I think I was lucky with it when I tried it - the alternative is to change the auto exposure value and take it down by 2 - this way the sky is less likely to be over exposed but you should get an even stitchline. I’ll make a follow up video on this when I get a chance.
Question: If I get the Insta 360 One-X , am I able to edit on the desktop editor made for the Insta 360? As well, if I am able to do that I would be able to straighten and remove the fish eye effect when Im using it for real estate videos? I need to keep all my lines straight is why I ask.. Thank you in advance
You can use the Insta360 studio with the one x - in the studio you can select natural view or default I think and this will get rid of and bends but is a narrower shot.
Great tips Rich! Could I mention that some carbon selfie sticks bounce to the point of breaking...(it was completely my fault with the way I poked the selfie stick thro' a hole and the bounce fractured at the edge of the hole. A more rigid stick got the shot!) I saved my X2 by the skin of my teeth when shooting a car follow vid. Lesson learnt! Last tip: selfie sticks are just like fishing Poles and can be repaired at you local tackle shop!
I hadn’t thought of repairing them at a tackle shop, great tip. Yes I always keep them short on a car especially- it always seems so dodgy bouncing around - glad you saved your X2

I tried to get some dramatic shots from the front of my car, only to have the camera destroyed by bouncing on the ground. Expensive experiment.
Yes easily done - I only use magnet mounts where I can and even then would not extend the selfie stick very far.
Salfie stick?! 🤦♂️
