So far you are the only one reviewer that showing the bottom of all these sticks, thanks so much for that. Finally, I can see all the tapped holes at the bottom if there are any differences
I've got a brilliant Insta360 selfie stick. It's about 105cm but it also has tripod feet built into the handle! This makes it so useful. You can just stick it down in a space and use it as a tripod.
I started my Insta360 X3 experience with the standard Insta360 selfie stick. It was so badly made that it fell apart while I was using it within a month. Now, I don't use any Insta360 selfie sticks but one from Ulanzi instead. Much better build quality. Thanks for the video, especially the information on what you can and cannot take on a plane.
Hi, nice video! I just received the insta 360 9’ 8” extended carbon fiber selfie stick. Can you tell me if the small first segment is supposed to rotate? All the other segment do not. Thanks again.
Just what I was looking for before I made a purchase and you confirmed what I thought, the smaller one for convenience and the longest one for the fake drone shots
Thanks for the review. What about the selfie stick included in the bullet time bundle. It seems to be the standard invisible stick at first but it weights 128g and is labeled with "designed for bullet time".
Hi there - I’m really not sure about that one. I bought the original bullet time bundle back when I bought my ONE X, but I’m not sure if that’s the same one these days. The mechanism for folding is quite different to later ones.
how to compare with chepaer alternatif selfie stick 3 meter another brand ? do you recommend to buy the original insta360 3 meter ? or its okay another alternative ?
Great review! I am leaning towards the short and standard one. For my Go3. Do you know of any significant width difference between the standard and the stick with the tripod?
Hi -and thank you - Not really a major difference between the two, but the shorter one is a little slimmer if you think about how the section slot together, russian doll style.
@@PocketCams good point. Thanks! I already carry a gorilla pod style tripod, so I felt like maybe the tripod on a selfie stick might make things redundant.
Thanks for sharing - I'm debating getting the 114cm invisible selfie stick for my Insta 360 Ace Pro, but was debating getting the Atumtek version. The Atumtek version states for the Ace or Ace Pro you can only edit out the stick (to make invisible post editing) and I wondered if that was the same for the Insta 360 version? Couldn't find info about this on the Insta 360 website and wondered if you knew? Obviously, if both require editing out post editing I'll go for cheaper Atumtek version.
Thanks so much - I actually bought the 114cm 360 one using your link as I didn’t see them on the 360 Amazon store. So much lighter than the multi mount. Though, I want one with legs so not sure if I should’ve bought the 2in1 now. Can you get legs for them?
Not a snowboarder - tried it, but I prefer skiing :) But if I were you, I’d definitely consider the action selfie stick - though I haven’t had a chance to try it myself yet
I’m not a motorcyclist really. Just a 50cc scooter. I’d probably look at the action selfie stick but pay more attention to stability and resilience of how it was attached to motorbike.
Couple of things: 1. The Selfie sticks don't have a pivotable mount - you'll need to use the pivot mount that came with the GO 3, and 2. The stick will remain visible - making it invisible as a special effect is only available for the Ace Pro / Ace for now
Or stay zoomed in to capture audio signal levels that would otherwise be too weak to listen, trade off is on image slightly being zoomed in as 1.1-1.9x can amplify audio without using a mic. ( that’s what I noticed )
It seems to me there’s confusion with the model names as a lot of people buy one of these for their insta go 3 !!! Which is a different model and doesn’t hide the selfie stick , as it’s not the 360 model
The Ace Pro can hide the selfie stick via software. Check the Insta360 site for more details www.insta360.com/support/supportdetail/video/qBWRG2otiV?article_id=954&title=AI%20Selfie%20Stick%20Eraser
I live in Manila. I can buy the 3m in U.S. for $100 and then pay $10 in tax. That means I have to lug the 3m selfie pole back in luggage. Amazon will send me (free shipping on orders over $50) the 3m in Manila. I don't pay the $10 in California sales tax. Pretty cool!!!! A package sent 8000 miles is cheaper than a locally sent package. Don't buy things over $200 and send them to Manila then you get hit with all kinds of customs fees.
Who would've thought that shipping something 8000 miles away could be cheaper than buying it locally? The world works in mysterious ways! And not necessarily climate friendly ones, unfortunately. The.modern world, eh?
Don't believe that was out at the time of making my video :) I also would be careful using it with a 360 camera until I tested it. Would have to be bottom heavy to be stable.
@@acc1tester398 standard 114 cm is much lighter close to 50% of the tripod version. But tripod version have more usage possibilities . Depend on Your needs.
Buyers beware! The Power Selfie Stick presently available in the insta360 accessory store and also on Amazon does not have the 1/4 inch female thread at the bottom anymore (I know it because I had ordered one). That reduces the stick's versatility by 50% in my opinion, since I also wanted to use it for extended timelapses and making use of the additional power supply. Incomprehensible why some idiot in insta360 suddenly decided to remove the thread. Called customer support to consider offering an external adapter, but all I got was a lame robot answer. I now managed to build my own adapter. Well, screw you insta guys (pun intended).
@@PocketCams If it would have exposed the battery or had made the connection unreliable, then a simple remedy would have been to reinforce the bottom. Instead those morons simply went the easy way and took the thread off altogether. There are hundreds of other selfie sticks available with a 1/4 inch thread at the bottom and I own a bunch of them. I hope insta360 is not going the way HERO did by ignoring customer complaints and listening to helpful suggestions.
Great review. I have a question. Is there an invisible selfie stick that will mount a DSLR camera to it? I would like to use an extended selfie stick. If so, can you direct me. Thank you in advance for your reply.
Thanks! First, it won't be invisible unless you have a software solution to erase it, like for the Ace Pro on the Insta360 app. Second, I don't really use any larger cameras these days, so can't really advise on anything to carry a heavier load than action camera, or slightly heavier.

Great video! I have a question, i need a selfie stick that i can carry on a plane. Is the 70cm one just fine for that?
One question about type of invisible selfie; which is better to buy one or 2?; 1. Action Invisible or 2. 114cm Invisible?
Really does depend on what you’re going to use it for. I don’t have the Action carbon fibre one. I’ve always found the 114cm version just fine.

I don't know. I have the Insta360, and an older 3m Telesin stick - but I don't use the Telesin any more - it started to droop.
