Actually Greeks pronounce it Persus. Persia is actually the English pronounciation of "Parsian" meaning "from Pars" (Pars was the name of the Cyrus The Great's main clan); either way, the term Persian is quite Persian (Iranian)

Persia and Persian are names that other countries used to refer to Iran. Iranian called themselves “Iranians” for hundreds of years. Iranians are diverse groups of people with different ethnicity and languages but shared culture and history.

Western bias. The journalist says she was "granted access" so that we're supposed to think it's forbidden and shrewed in secrecy and buy an overpriced documentary subscription. Also Iran and Persia are the same, just the historical names. I've visited Iran two times, Isfahan, Teheran and Persepolis were stunning. Great train connection, friendy and proud people, remember sunblock & avoid travelling in the summer because the temperatures can reach upto 50 c. Enjoy!
