Before him Yaghub Lays Safari (Persian name Radman Mahakan) reclaimed Iran‘s independence from the Arab rule and mandated that the Persian language should be used in all official governmental communications. In my humble opinion, he’s the reason Persian still thrived as a language for us to get to the great unparalleled work we have, the Shahnameh. Beware the many fake added lines that were not Ferdowsi’s. 💚🤍♥️
The paintings you see in the book is called Miniature. Miniature painting became a significant genre in Persian art in the 13th century, receiving Chinese influence after the Mongol invasion, and the highest point in the tradition was reached in the 15th and 16th centuries. The tradition continued under some Western influence, and has many modern exponents. The Persian miniature was the dominant influence on other Islamic miniature traditions, principally the Ottoman miniature in Turkey, and the Mughal miniature in the Indian sub-continent.

No, this is true, after the Arab invasion, the Persian language was banned for 200 years, and Radmanpour Mahek and Ferdowsi saved it, people secretly read the Shahnameh in their homes at night, because this is not just a story, this is the history of my country and the motherland. Strong worship of Ferdowsi, because they wanted to steal our identity, but they could not with our struggle
@@Sahar_wB It's not true, all the Iranian peoples were more than 20 million, do you think that a few tens of thousands of Arabs could have done such a suicidal thing?
Yes. The interesting point is that when Turkic nomads and Mongols came into Iran, they became fascinated with Iranian culture including the Shahnameh. They even chose Persian names for their children and some tried to make an ancestral line to pre-Islamic dynesties. The copies of that era especially resemble mongoloid faces
Nope they are most definetly turks..mongols stayed in iran for 100 years turks for 1000 years and they are still there they call themselves iranian and speak both persian and turkish and they see themself as iranian..seljuks..safavids,mughals all revere shahname.Persian is literary language of turkish/persian elite world. In army they speak turkish but in court persian poety is more prestigious and in science arabic.Kind of like usage of latin in the west even though they are german english or french.

Magnificent.
It's like Greek literature. Greek was conquered by Romans but their civilization survived
I always thought Greeks and Romans were the same nation or ethnic
This history should be spoken and told by a Iranian. Not English no it alls.
When you don't know anything about history then don't say anything; Iranians are not the only Persians.
