Dude your braver than i am. Id chickened out on that tonka toy about 25 mph. 6 foot 278 lbs, yea im not thinking so. I love your stance and your resolve about your rules for your meet up. May be a touch strict may not be bit they are your rules and you act as though you will enforce them. Im all for it. Brother have a blast and just keep on keepen on.
I got one of those I’ve got it at about 38 mph and it was super wobbly. I slowed down right after hitting that speed

Cool mini bike.Im working on a little dirt bike right now.
I know it's not your thing, but my favorite engines I have are a 250cc 2 Stroke Polaris Trail Boss engine from 1988 25-30hp has an awesome torque converter clutch and fwd/neutral/rev gearbox in a small package. A 2004 Motorhispania RX50 liquid cooled 2 stroke 50cc engine that pushes 7hp.
And a Radne Raket paramotor engine 120cc, 17hp-small as a Briggs 3.5hp!

Lacquer thinner or paint brush cleaner works wonders getting out the gummed up ethanol and gas.Use a cutting torch tip cleaners to clean jets

A 4 hp on a mini bike -Brutal , I was given a 1/2 hp as a kid back in 69 had a blast with it , Love the sediment bowl on the carb.

Heh , late 70s and my neighbor had a belt driven 2.5 tecumseh on a mini bike that did about 45.
It was slow getting there but it would do it.
It had like a 4” crank pulley and probably a 3” on the back.
Step on the pedal, it tensioned the v belt and off ya went 😂

I rode a Harley Davidson 200 miles, partly on an interstate in the snow, with a heated jacket and gloves. The jacket adds so much heat to your core... I was nice and comfy, if not a little apprehensive about the snow that wasn’t supposed to be there.
$50 is a good deal for that.

I’m impressed by the manco streaker 40 is what all my go karts do it’s the best speed you still got good bottom end power that’s it I’ve found
Those robin subaru engines are some of the best small engines out there ask the guys from cars and cameras

I’ve seen quite a few from places like construction sites , and they’d have 3-4-5000 hours on em.
By the time I’d see them, it was usually scrap from running with a leaking air filter for the last 500 hours or who knows how long.
Just generally hammered on and so dirty it barely looks like an engine.
Never seen another small engine able to last that long.
Most are shot by 2000hrs.
That's what a "mini" bike is supposed to be :) ! The old Pit Bikes like our Cat 300 are not big at all, I just finished a sidecar for ours and it is 21' long and 16' wide. Oh and we run a 79cc Pedator and it tops out at 25, 42 must have been interesting. Keep up the great work.

I'm wondering if they didn't over-tighten the valve adjusters.Would you make a 'tag-along trailer,with an adjustable mounting clamp,for the kids to ride in,and,or with a removable seat,so you can haul parts on your trips into the woods?
Put a wheelie bar on it and slap a torque converter on it and make it a racing street bike

I've just finnished a Baja DB 30 and it's a little larger than the racer. I installed a New Predator 212 Hemi in it and hit 49 mph with me on it! I weigh 256lbs,the ONLY thing I don't like about it,is the shaking as the clutch locks up,until it gets over a certain RPM range?
After watching this video I don't know why but you got me thinking that you guys should build some Barstool carts. A motor underneath a Barstool on a small go-kart frame

I've always wanted to see someone bolt wheels and seat to a strong 420. That'd about do it.
Picked up a streaker with the stock Subaru robin 4hp managed to put a mikuni on it and deleted the governor clocked it at 41 on straight road

I'll just get the vest and plug it into my computer at home while I watch Red Beard's Garage, at my desk, in my freezing cold apartment! (Cheap rent, but I don't control the heat; crazy, former in-law apartment setup. The thermostat is upstairs. I am downstairs.) I'll live. Been here 8 years. The vest sounds enticing. I don't pay for electricity! ;-) (425/Mo.; can I beat that?)

Just watched the rest of the video. You don't want/need a torque converter. Although...the new tires? You're going to need better brakes.
For what the bike is the brakes work pretty good. I will be putting a 79cc predator on it soon.

Tillotson 212 has More horsepower an torque then a predator 212.
I think the big jet is meant to make up for the small intake.

How many rpm stock? Also is a stage 1 tillotson goi g to beat a stage 1 predator, because on go power sports it says they make the same rpm.
I think its cool, wish I could have something like that mini bike, but I'm broke as hell.... Maybe in the future I'll be able to get a mini bike or go kart, would love to get a atv. Hey putting a fully built 670 on a old beat up atv ain't a bad idea...

You wouldn't know anything about Tecumseh engins would you? I have a older 10hp, and need to convert to electric start! I need a starter and possibly a flywheel, im not worried about it charging, since its a generator, I am just going to plug in a small charger! I haven't beenable to find the flywheel, I haven't looked, but someone said they mah all gave the ring gear on the flywheel. It's going to be a pain to just look. Any advise?
I honestly have never messed with one. Parts are hard to come by so I always swap them for something with more aftermarket support.
