    Love the intro guys I thought I had gone onto the wrong channel to begin with! As for for the stolen Cat I would have put my month's wages on predicting that as I mentioned in an earlier post.The HRV is a super little car mate and it also demonstrates why you should always keep stuff hanging around and not take it all to the scrappy. A spare cat, a bit of pipe some lovely welding by Chris and hey Presto a nice little runner. Just don't park it in a public car park where this is a white transit with 3 undesirables sitting it is or else you will be putting another cat on it!

    Crazy that the prev owner let them write that off, yes OEM parts are a fortune, but they could have gone to an exhaust specialist and had on custom made with an aftermarket cat for less than they have lost with the insurance company

    • @dj_efk
      @dj_efk 4 роки тому

      Presumably they’d have lost at least
      150-200 quid on their excess - even paying the exhaust specialist to sort it out wouldn’t have cost much more than that as I believe you’re hinting at - plus they’ve now got a claim on their record.
      It’s a shame as I bet the previous owner was a lady who doesn’t know cars, didn’t have a knowledgable friend to advise her and hence clearly didn’t know what her options were. She’s been ripped off through lack of knowledge.

    Just goes to show that buying a new car and ending up in years of debt is pointless. This reminds me of my daughters Rover 200 bought after her Fiat 500 was written off. We bought the Rover for £1 from a vicar and it gave our daughter and her family 6 years of trouble free motoring. Well nearly trouble free, replacing the head gasket is a nightmare I wont forget in a hurry but replaced with a Land Rover part which was almost guaranteed not to go. It seems a shame that this car was someones lifeline and some git nicked the Cat. Smashing video, really enjoying your channel. Incidentally when finally scrapped she got £130 for the car and should have got £20 for the Fruit Shoot bottles left by her kids. It still had a 1997 original Unipart battery and just short of 200,000 on the clock.

    Great video nice starting section well done Amy I did laugh when you was unloading the back of all the cloths I expected a 🐱 to jump out on you. That Honda has been looked after by some young lady who first car it’s been. Nice touch getting her personal stuff back.

    Rob, that's an awesome little ugly jewel. Honda makes amazing engines. £1.100 is really honest. Well done
