It really was surprising how critical is this video of other brands other than Grech. Criticism of Thor and Airstream… not a good idea. Not good business.
I know. I mean, you bad-mouth the beloved Airstream brand, and your playing with fire. If I was on the market, I would probably want to buy a Thor or Airstream just to spite this guy. To top it off, he's also got the personality of a pea.
@@stratolestele7611 sometimes honesty can sound hurtful to the ear, but honesty can come from the real honest person who truly shares what he knows. I really appreciate this video with all the valuable knowledge when shopping for the right rv.
So in reality the sales price is what the MSRP should be or close to it not over $200k+ which is one of the reason they are sitting at dealer lots other than high interest rates and the extra unnecessary add on fees. This is also one of the reasons why a lot of people are buying the van and either self-converting them of having a company do it for them which in turn they get a better quality build product made to their specifications.
Class B vans selling for almost diesel pusher prices is wild to me - I will never understand it! My '22 39ft DP on a Freightliner raised rail, Cummins 6.7, Onan 8000 diesel gen, Allison 2500, AquaHot, Air ride, and 960ah Lithium upgrade was $270k new. But yeah, these Class Bs have nice power shades :). Can someone please explain the appeal to me? I feel like I'm missing something!
I think these prices are driven by boomers who want to drive smaller vehicles and have the $$ to drive the price up. At the Tampa show, Leisure Travel Vans we’re selling $20k above MSRP if you bought one at the show, or if you ordered at the show it was the build price on their website which was cheaper but you had to wait.
RVs will never be assets; they like almost all other vehicles will depreciate over time. The Gretch models may lose the least amount of value over time, but you will never get back your $'s. They are to be enjoyed and depending on the travel needs and budget, buy what you need/want. I would love to see how the different RVers use their rigs vs the type they buy. I would think the people moving about the country but stay in spots for extended stays buy the class A RV vs the shorter trips in a year/short stays and/or off-road trips favor the B class RVs. The C class bridges the gap I suspect. Then there are children/grandchildren - or no children. If you have children, I couldn't see how a B class makes sense at these price points... We made do with a 93 Eurovan MV/weekender back in the 90's with 2 children. They loved sleeping up top. We now have a low mileage 02 MV/weekender. I think we spent more than a nice top end new B class will depreciate in a year. You can do a lot of hotel stays and some eating out. To each their own path. Thanks for the [Grect] video.
I'm with you! Don't see the value in the small platforms. They never mention the serious lack of storage space. My home pet supply cabinet exceeds the storage capacity of one of these! Further, two people would be ready for a split-up in short order. Just me.
Quite possibly your worst video in several regards. I am in the market myself and was astonished at how bad this salesperson was. How can Mesa RV allow him to bad-mouth the other brands like this? I guess there is no point in considering Mesa RV unless I am interested in a Grech.
Anyone wishing to buy a Thor RV from Lamesa RV should first listen to this Lamesa RV Thor salesman. First time I've heard any salesman at Lamesa admit the Thor product sucks. Which of course they do. But it's nice to finally hear them admit it before they charge you $140k for a very substandard product. Still on a nice chassis I will admit. Love the MB.
listen at some point price increases are ridiculously unnecessary. let's be honest 300k+ for even the luxury coach is a bit steep. consider you can buy a house a yard, and the hope that it appreciates. 300K, 1,000,000, 2.5 million, come on. you could fly to your location buy a luxury car, while there, drive around sell the car and fly back home, a whole bunch of times with that kind of money. cabin, villa, hotel stay 10 stars... man! hey just my thoughts on pricing.
We purchased a 2022 Grech Strada, after 12,000 miles we traded the van in for a less "techie" unit. The Grech was becoming a maintenance nightmare. The auto closing door was by far the worst problem, the door would not close tight and the door handle did not always engage the door to close. Remember you purchase the vehicle from two different manufactures. Grech and Mercedes. Mercedes said it was not there problem due to all the changes made, our dealership was going to charge VERY large $$ to fix, if they could. I could go on with other problems but will not. High quality and ride, yes, high quality material yes, customer service was very good. All that said we feel too much technology is being packed into a small space. What we did not consider was the amount of time that would be spent in the shop fixing the future breakdowns. Good luck
PleasureWay stopping using the power door due to issues with it and the problems to get it repaired. Since it is behind the kitchen and all the cabinets would need to be removed to access the motor. You also didn't mention that Grech only comes with 200 amps of lithium and to get more you need to pay more. 😢
3:45 A $74,000 Thor for $160k+😮😵💫. Sorry. Let's just wait another year for the industry to complete the market shift back to pre vid mentality. 😊 Mr. Andrew, really enjoy your videos. 😊 But this one really had that Californication vibe... You know when someone moves from California to say, Florida and thinks a $700k house is cheap because all they are used are $1million dollar shacks. But just a few months or so prior that same house was going for $300k. 😮😢 Have to give props to the salesman. He did point out the lower build quality of the Thor in a very respectful way. 👍 Thanks for creating all your great content. Looking forward to your next videos. 😉🤙
The Arriva is beautiful! They only sell direct, not sure why that is but RV dealerships don’t have them. I only wish that they’d do it on the Ford Transit chassis.
i mean why not buy a pickup with a 5th wheel and tow a "home" beyond anything these things can offer at the numbers ive seen on the windshields. unless your living in canada, which I am sorry if that's the case for you...i still don't understand the point of these when you can get a 5th wheel with bump outs loaded for 55 to 65k plus 65 to 85k for a 2500+ 4wd pick up that can tow it while you enjoy quite a bit more sq footage.
I know the sales guy is Grech so why are they even looking at the others? All they're doing is knocking everything else. I don't care for that. Not everyone can afford you great. Why do that? See ya
Thank you for the info i myself like to coachman cross trail with lift bed shower on one side toilet on the other for off road camping i really like the grech as well
Interesting review. You took a dump on all the brands with the exception of Grech. Way to go. They are all overpriced. I'll stick with my 2005 Road Trek Bought new. Still running strong and paid for years ago.
Have to agree with many of the comments...This was a Grech promotion video...I was just in the La Mesa in PSL this past weekend. They have several of them at over 200k (they are indeed very nice...) but also have several other Class B vans around the 100-125k mark (Jayco Swift for instance) that are more in line with my "pocket book"....I certainly understand there is a high end buyer for everything though...just not for me in a travel van...a depreciating asset.
Wow, listening to youabd the salesperson has convinced menot to purchase a sprinter at all! Basically crap, I guess. I don't want the Gretch, so I'm OUT! I've been ready for a cash buy for a week if I found the right one. But I've been concinced thattheir product is crap, thanks for the help.
I could never be comfortable staying for long periods of time in one of those vans. Don’t get me wrong they are very very nice, that’s not the issue. It’s just that if I planned on traveling around like you guys do, I wouldn’t be able to sleep in such a small space. Andrew you are tall, how in the world can you sleep in the back of one of those and get a good nights rest? Even when the small couch comes together with the other two little seats there isn’t enough room. You guys should at least go a step up and get a B plus or even a smaller C. But it’s your money and your decision. I’ve never seen your girlfriend before by the way, she is beautiful! You guys look great together!
Normally great videos but this is SOOOO Bad... just rename this video Fake Comparisons to Grech .... really a Thor isn't as nice as a Grech Class B ... getting to be unwatchable
They are supposed to go out to enjoy nature and worry about going with luxuries, people don't know what to waste their money on and it is better to be more humble and enjoy the simple, ridiculous prices.
I’d love a class B, easy to drive, park, shop, etc., but your girlfriend isn’t going to shower very long or often with those 17-23 gallon holding tanks. 🤣
😆🤣😅😂😅🤣😆😅😆🤣😂 I think if you are going to track anyone down, you should track down whoever came up with these prices and tell them to lay off of the cocaine. Using dope rots your brain....thus, you have these prices.
I, personally, find absolutely zero appeal in these. They're way too expensive to offer so little - and they really are little. What an expensive waste of space.
It really was surprising how critical is this video of other brands other than Grech. Criticism of Thor and Airstream… not a good idea. Not good business.

I’m not sure there was any RV shopping. We were treated to a Grech promotion

The value just isn't there.

Supply and demand. They’re easier on gas and are in high demand. We bought a brand new class C for half of a class B

These class B are perfect for a couple that will be going everywhere, especially traveling through major cities and the AWD is a no brainer.

The prices are ludicrous !!!
Are there receiver hitches on the Gretch and what are the ratings for towing?
$18k off $244k is not a "great discount", lol
Basically a fancy van.
I could move to Hawaii, buy a view lot, build an off grid cabin and have 100k left over. No way is this RV worth 244k. Never.

For $236k I'm finding myself a cherry Country Coach Magna/Affinity that has 4x the living space.

you should get another leisure travel van it was bigger and easy to travel/move around
Can the Grech air suspension be used for leveling?
Team Grech! Get it, buddy!
We’ll finally see some different class B rv’s that you like! Hope you find the one that will work for both of you! Great videoing Andrew! 👏😉👍
Margins from the MFG are the same for Gretch. Why so little discount? Does LaMesa have an exclusive, so no competition.
3:45 A $74,000 Thor for $160k+😮😵💫.
Sorry. Let's just wait another year for the industry to complete the market shift back to pre vid mentality. 😊

Good stuff! Coach House RV has a sprinter conversion with a small separate shower I believe is the 1st done inside a Sprinter non B+
The Arriva is beautiful! They only sell direct, not sure why that is but RV dealerships don’t have them. I only wish that they’d do it on the Ford Transit chassis.
When I Grech going to do a dry bath like the Bayside by chinook?
250 k thats crazy
250 k for that? Lmao yall are in lala land for sure
NO, NO, NO!!! We will not pay such a ridiculous price to go camping!
Great collection of B buyers dream, nice video Andrew.
So.if this van.is costing as.much as my house how long can you finance them years and payment ?.??
My van had a 20 year contract, i will most likely be dead by then, I paid loan off after 1 year.
Can this unit be shipped here in the Philippines?
what's the interior height in the rv?
Did you look at the 2024 Airstream Atlas E?
Did we just compare a brand new 2024 Gretch to a used 2017 Airstream?
i mean why not buy a pickup with a 5th wheel and tow a "home" beyond anything these things can offer at the numbers ive seen on the windshields.

Hey Andrew…Happy Wife…Happy Life…Remember never show emotion when purchasing a $250k Class B Van when hanging out with the salesman
Yes being a simp is always the way to go.
Thank you for the info i myself like to coachman cross trail with lift bed shower on one side toilet on the other for off road camping i really like the grech as well
I was wondering if you happen to have seen the Coachmen Euro 25. It may fit your budget and be the perfect size too.
That coach has no external storage and is not attractive. IMHO.
Beautiful workmanship on the gretch !! But $$$$ 😮 I'd buy a class A for that kind of cash !!!
Thank you, very informative. Cindy 👋

I bought a class b just a month ago and have always owned class a. I made a huge mistake. Now I don’t know what to do…..
Good job Russ. I would definitely work with you.
Thanks for the great content Andrew!! 👏🏼👍🏻
Magnificent video
This channel just took a major step up.
Congratulations, you make an awesome couple . 🎉
Bro i never knew you had a lady being your so busy with the channel. I have to compliment me you on having a beautiful lady
I hope.they let you order the All Wheel Drive without those ugly black wheels!

So Winnebago rocks - don’t waste your time on tri-star badging. Better floor plans, too!
Great commercial for grech..
What happened to Shay?
you can buy a class C for the prices they ask for. For 100+ it sleeps 2 buy a RAM extended van and put 50K in it and it ll be much cheaper.
Wow way to churn out a Grech ad 🙄
In monotone no less.
Normally great videos but this is SOOOO Bad... just rename this video Fake Comparisons to Grech .... really a Thor isn't as nice as a Grech Class B ... getting to be unwatchable
This was a kiss a$$ video for Gretch so he could get the lowest price.
Great build quality on the Grech but for the money LTV gives more space and is a better value.
They are supposed to go out to enjoy nature and worry about going with luxuries, people don't know what to waste their money on and it is better to be more humble and enjoy the simple, ridiculous prices.
I never comment but I left half way it was just training other vans.
I’d love a class B, easy to drive, park, shop, etc., but your girlfriend isn’t going to shower very long or often with those 17-23 gallon holding tanks. 🤣
Nice review keep up the good work
How many dam times did they say grech
$250K ! Crazy !
Very nice. Land Yachts..
Love how you try and fail to make these delivery vans sound comfortable. Unless you want one for a daily driver, these are useless as RVs.
Andrew,
That new ear to ear koolaid Smile U couldn't hide to save your life!
🤔
E-body sees U enjoying visiting cooterville! lol.👌🏼😂
Be careful man.🥴
Mercedes benz grechrv's travelling a arritola's a la pavellon
I meant to sit in buying the demo
ALL I HEARD WAS Grech grech grech grech. Bleh was hoping for a balanced review
These are toys for people with a lot of money.
Wow
You can’t drive on the beach in Sarasota lol
Damn a mortgage that can’t even hold same value that you bought it,In next 5yrs 😕.
does she really cooka/
Her feedback and options are useless. She sounds like a 5 year old. But I found the 2 guys really informative, answered many of my questions.
Not nice. Not nice at all.
😆🤣😅😂😅🤣😆😅😆🤣😂 I think if you are going to track anyone down, you should track down whoever came up with these prices and tell them to lay off of the cocaine. Using dope rots your brain....thus, you have these prices.
Camping $ for millionaires..what else is new?
1st world problems.
Not worth it for the price. Get a B plus. The prices are pure insanity.
💨🔥
Way expensive
😂 to much,no way
I, personally, find absolutely zero appeal in these. They're way too expensive to offer so little - and they really are little. What an expensive waste of space.
👍🇺🇲
Lol....
Marry her....
This new girlfriend is a lot hotter.
Thor sucks
163k and it's not high quality lmao
We’ll finally see some different class B rv’s that you like! Hope you find the one that will work for both of you! Great videoing Andrew! 👏😉👍
