22:02 you know I'll be watching! I'm excited to see where this takes you two!
Happy to hear 🤗 also super excited 🤗🤗
Awesome vid guys. Im pretty pumped for the in use vids.
Thanks brother 🤗
I just purchased a 2023 Ethos.. I will get it tomorrow or Saturday. Thanks for this video, I really found it very useful!!! I have one question, you raised the passenger side mattress and showed an "emergency" fill for the fresh water tank. I was told that was the main fresh water tank fill. Where on the outside is the water tank fill?
Glad we could help! The outside hook up can be seen at 6:27.
@@scrapthemap4008 I really appreciated this video!!
@@swansodi glad we could help!
I just bought a brand new 24 and will pick it up next Saturday! Thank you for your video. It’s very easy to listen to and watch. You did a great job explaining everything. Can’t wait until I take possession of mine!
Thank you very much! Best of luck!
Congrats!
Does it have an induction cooktop or gas?
@monicae67 the Ethos has a propane stove, while the new Tellero (Thor) has an induction.
@@scrapthemap4008 NO INDUCTION COOKTOP FOR ME! I’m cooking on an electric stove now and REALLY dislike it. I miss my gas stove!
GREAT video you two 😊 Thank you so much for the walk through 😊 You got me all excited about this being a possible RV for me and the hubbs. Hopefully in the very near future 🎉❤ Definitely subscribed so I can see how you two enjoy the Ethos on your adventures 😊 Safe Travels!
@SommerCrushT many thanks! Glad you enjoyed! Best of luck in your future in RVing & happy camping!
Nice vid, thanks! How do you rate the build quality? I looked at one last week and it seems you get a lot for the money. I just wonder if they hold up mile after bumpy mile.
We've only put around 1,000 miles on it, but is holding up perfectly so far. We'll have to make a long term review once the time comes 🙂 but initial opinions, extremely good build quality in & out.
Hi we are thinking of buying same coach, how is it going? Are you having any problems with it?
We've had one outing so far, absolutely no issues. We're just finding out things along the way, like what things need shore power or the generator, and what things can just run off the inverter.
Nice little van, thorough video. Nice work. Not sure I'd like my clothes that close to the shower area. I don't want my clothes all musky. 🤷🏼
@randyc4751 thank you! We've actually built some shelves in the closet. The doors do shut tight & there is a shower curtain, and an exhaust fan 🙂
Nice tour. Thank you
@@glen8449 many thanks!
Nice video. Great unit!!
Thank you! It really is!
great video
I'm just wondering what the total length is.
juggling between travato and this one
thanks in advance and happy camping
Hey thanks! Total length is 21' 🙂
Just passed you on i80 in Illinois headed west
@@Thehandsomeliberal that's awesome 😅😅 that's us 😅😅
How the heck did you know that was them?
@Actias1974 lol we have a "Scrap the Map" sticker on the back window 😅
@scrapthemap4008 what's that look like? Curious.
Looks amazing and a lot of space
We love it!
Wish you could go over how to turn on the stove top. Also, a little more in detail how all that works using the various buttons on the main control panel. We cannot get our stove lite. we also do not understand enable something and when to do that. our '24 came with no interior instructions.
@davidpaige6366 surprisingly, we have yet to use the propane stove after 18k+ miles. Do you have the propane switch in the right position outside on the driver side? Does your propane work otherwise (truma)? If not, try switching the switch in the opposite position, I've heard some were installed backwards 🙃
@scrapthemap4008 yes. Have tried everything. Sill no gas coming out of the burners. We'll take it back in...again!
@@davidpaige6366 ugh sorry!
I am spending my first night in my 20T at the dealers parking lot. Hooked up to shore power and the WFCO fuse box fan never stops. Has this been your experience?
We have been on shore power a few times now and have not noticed that. Have you addressed it with the dealer?
We also fall asleep with the TV on and have a normal fan running, as well. So i'm not sure we would notice the additional fan being on.
Gas cooktop?! 👏 was that an option? Many videos I’ve watched it had the induction cooktop which is a dealbreaker for me!
Ethos/Swift has propane gas stove, Thor Tellero has induction.
@@scrapthemap4008I’m torn between this and the Winnebago Travato 59K. They both have the same floor plan which I prefer but I imagine that the Winnebago Travato will be a lot more expensive!
@monicae67 winnebago is more expensive. Besides price, it comes down to personal preference. We picked the Ethos because everything is light-colored inside, while the Travato is darker. Also there is no flip up table behind the passenger seat, only another Lagun mount. Also, big one for me, the hook ups are not in one central location, city fill is actually inside in the bathroom.
@@scrapthemap4008 I actually prefer the lagun table. It is less in the way and has more flexibility. I also prefer the darker cabinet colors so yes, everyone’s preferences vary but I agree with you on the placement of the water hook ups. The doors need to remain open. 🙄 That needs to be thought out better. I do however love the diagrams instructions and that it offers hot and cold water which makes it a true outdoor shower rather than just cold water. Each have certain features that I like which is why I keep going back-and-forth between the two. I’ll have to weigh out their pros and cons but ultimately it might be the deal that I get that will determine which one I choose. I just assume that Winnebago’s reputation and name recognition is why it’ll cost more.
@monicae67 they certainly have been around long enough to establish a well known presence in the space. If you did want an outdoor shower, our shower hose is certainly long enough to use outside. The windows are also a little different, I do like the shades/screens on the winnebago. The differences between the two aren't really deal breakers, again just down to preference. But if you spend that kind of money, make sure you are confident & aren't settling 🙂
Nice video explaining everything well. That said, I just bought the Jayco swift 20T. Its EXACTLY the same as the Ethos. Exterior options, cabinets, bath, etc. All the same
There is one diffence though. You pay more for the Entegra name.
Thank you! Appreciate it!
Ethos costs more than the Swift? I’m so torn between this and the Expanse. I love the look of the Expanse, the larger refrigerator, plus other features. I also like the Ford Transit chassis but I really wanted the twin beds. 🤦♀️
@monicae67 yeah pretty sure the twins only come on the promaster chassis.
How much is it
@@MoeMoe-nu7vt most places have the new ones listed somewhere around $110k-$120k
Thanks, we tried all that. Ever since we took it in on a recall for a propane Part, the stove won't lite. Tried the switch outside on and in off position. Just thought we were some trick?
@davidpaige6366 ugh that's disappointing, sorry to hear. No trick I'm aware of 😒
How is it sitting on the dual beds as couches and for passengers? Do your feet dangle?
We're both about 5'8" and our feet don't dangle, but we can't be flat footed. They're super comfy in our opinion.
Is the bed actually comfortable? It seems like with all the different components it would be a bit odd (feeling the cracks in the bed).
@rock.climbing.stuff123 so we actually thought the same thing, but it has not affected our sleep at all. To help with the spaces, we bought a king-size fitted sheet that we use, and just keep it on the driver side twin until we make the full bed.
You both did a really nice job explaining all the features and benefits (also appreciate the few items you dont like...). We have had a Travato 59k prior (sold it a few years back) and now in the market again...I really like both the Ethos and the Swift...I know they are basically the same but there are a few differences that make the Ethos my preferred coach.(I looked at the Tellaro as well...not nearly as nice). Curious as I believe you considered the Swift as well...why did you land on the Ethos?
@billshull6698 thank you very much! We ultimately decided on Ethos over Swift primarily because of availability. We've always been Jayco fans (family has always had multiple Jaycos), but there were no Swifts even relatively close to us. I don't think we would've been regretful with either coach, but we are absolutely loving the Ethos so far after 10k miles within 3 months being out of storage.
@billshull6698 we did also spend 2 hours in a Thor Tellero, and once we toured the Ethos, the Ethos craftsmanship just blew the Tellero away.
Thanks for your response. Both are available at La Mesa which is close to us…appreciate your honesty.
@@billshull6698 of course!
Now that you have a few miles on it…what kind of gas mileage are you getting? With our Travato we could never do better than about 11 mpg….
Nice review! What would you use the Thuler roof rack for? It looks like the AC would prevent storing anything on them. Also, what is you avg MPG? Thanks again.
@alanc231 you're right, without rearranging things up top, the Thule cross bars are just for show 🙃 but we're currently using them to strap our maxtrax. Our average MPG is 16.
This looks amazing and I’m in Albany! I’m looking for an RV for full time travel nursing. Is this dealership good and do you have any recommendations for quality class Bs or Cs?
@ariasarcana3142 definitely a good dealership with friendly staff who are helpful & not pushy. We're a little partial to Jayco & Entegra, our family has always had Jaycos, they're good quality units!
As someone with a 31' class C, with a history of having a travel trailer, and a family member having one of these vans, for the money, a class C is the way to go. These Bs are great for an outdoors person trying to get to tighter locations and don't live full time in them. I'd go with class C or a small traveler trailer pulled by SUV or truck. More room, better driving experience with dual wheels, and honestly, way cheaper than these vans.
@@rhino202 thank you so much for your response! I’m looking at a keystone obx 17bh and a ford f150 hybrid with the generator! I think it’ll be a great combo, and it’s fiber glass and dual pane! I’ll add a woodstove and a composting toilet and I’ll be cooking’
@rhino202 I agree on most parts, except the driving experience. When you're driving a class C, you know your driving a class C. B's however, at least ours, you'd never know you're driving a camper.
@scrapthemap4008 true! Hope you're still enjoying it!
Does the 2024 model have LED headlights yet or still 1820 's halogens?
@michaelsmith9308 I believe 1820's halogens 😅 but they're not bad for what they are. Upgrade is imminent though.
enjoyed the presentation
@davidmunn3852 thank you! Glad to hear!
Well the fan stopped around 11 pm. Has not started again yet. Lights, frig, truma blower on and no fan. Praying that holds.
Fingers crossed
thats the good part, youre very lucky , just wait until you hit over ten thousand miles it will die quickly like a camel in the desert that cannot find water!
nice presentation
Thank you!
Nice van. How much did you pay if you don't mind ?
Thank you! MSRP is $175k, listed for $117k, agreed to $107k, plus taxes and extra stuff ended up being around $127k when everything was said & done.
@@scrapthemap4008 enjoy it !
@@vadimchernov7577 thanks! I'm sure we will 😬
Enjoy it … it is like being in a Winnebago 59 but way less money 💴 smart choice
@@MoeMoe-nu7vt there's actually many reasons beyond money why we chose Ethos over 59k 🤗
I’m looking into getting one too 🙏🏻
@@heatherlucero2530 we are absolutely loving ours after 10k miles so far!
One correction. Outlets outside are not 12 volt. They are 120 volt.
Yeah I realized I misspoke after filming 🥴
I figured that though usually they would insert a written correction on the screen during editing. No biggie. @@scrapthemap4008
Where’s y’all’s stuff? You live in it right?
@mayjan74 lol we don't live in it full time, but this video is from when we first bought it. We have videos up of our 1 year / 20k mile review.
Wish yall would show the shower curtain hooked up
Honestly we would have if we had water in the tank. Didn't even think to fill her up for a demonstration 🫤
thanks May I ask How much for this Van , I love it so nice
@@hieuhuynh3654 MSRP is $176k, listed for $117k, negotiated to $106k, with tax & extra warranty out the door for $127k.
I remember when 100k was a LOT of money.
@@Actias1974 it's all relative.
Not sure about paper towel holder over the gas range. I also prefer an induction stove. No gas and more solar.
Where are the exterior speakers. That’s a deal breaker for me.
@briankboyd we've since replaced the paper towel holder for something nicer, but same location. We have not used the stove as of yet anyway, that's just us.
No outdoor speakers, but Entegra's idea for a replacement is that portable JBL speaker.
Perfect instructions 🥳🥳🥳
@bethdixon501 thank you!
I heard great things about this RV
We're absolutely loving it so far! 🤗
how to fill the emergency water fill? seems like a most difficult location to add water. too tight to use a large jug or even a pitcher. bad design?
@roostercock yeah I guess they were only thinking about a hose ... maybe a long makeshift funnel? Idk we've only used the exterior fill.
@@scrapthemap4008 yeah i was presuming "emergency fill" meant you were away from any normal fill ie hose from a pressure system, more like boondocking and you run out of water. so if lucky enough to have a water source nearby you would fill some type container and a "fill device" ie long makeshift funnel would do nicely. I imagine the location of the emergency fill cap had to be over the fresh water tank? Why else such a ridiculous location?
@roostercock yeah it's right on top of the tank, below the passenger side bed. Agree not the best design, best to get a long funnel as a precaution.
Might be a recall on battery pack for 2024 air conditioner.
@@elainecarrillo9349 🤔🤔
@@scrapthemap4008 We bought our new 2024 Entegra Ethos LI last week. Stayed at Navajo Lake, NM campsite yesterday. Ran air conditioner last night, worked fine. This morning it will only cycle up and shut down, over and over. Jayco said might be recall on battery pack. Taking it to La Mesa Thursday. There are a few other things, mostly minor. Check it thoroughly before you sign off. Overall we’re happy about lithium, solar, no propane and general quality.
@@elainecarrillo9349 we bought our 2024 in November, generator though, not Li. No issues thus far.

As is how much is it $$$$$$$
@robertc.petersonjr.7877 depends where you go, you can find it anywhere between $110k-$130k brand new.
Just today, 09.12.2024, saw 4 sequence rv in the dodge parking lot being serviced, these engines are so awful, a few years ago I saw 2 dodge chassis rv in the same dodge parking lot for engine issues, avoid dodge, Ford's 3.2 v6 ecoboost rv, their fuel pump has a belt driven motor encased in the oil pan, once the belt us worned and needs replaced the engine needs to be dropped down to replace the belt, it's the most strangest engineering placement I ever seen since the German cars rule for the most weirdest strangest placement, and Mercedes-Benz is a huge headache!
@@jorad4887 yeah none of them are perfect 😏
Oh no on generator
@jean-claudebonillo1535 not sure what you mean?
I would have watched but the dumb music at the same time as talking was just meh!
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Save the editing time and skip the background Muzak.
Nice if you want to be on you knees to use the microwave or fridge. Terrible design!!
Can only do so much with limited space. We love it, to each their own 😎
