IMO the singing performance on "Time" is even better.
The funny thing about Wintersun is that pretty much everything on the record except drums was composed and played by Jari, the lead singer in the video.
For drums he asked Kaj Hahto to do that.
That's bloody lot of talent and skill in one person.

Those two are also Master pieces, I prefer "Land of Snow and Sorrow" You can also feel the freezing Cold in that Song, but as said they are both Master Pieces.
The guitarist with dark hair, Teemu Mäntysaari plays in a cover band with a female vocalist Netta Laurenne. I think you might like her.

Jukka can do it all but I think Tuomas is one of those composers who wants to write something for Jukka's vocals which I totally get. Let Jukka have his moment to shine.

I'm obsessed by this band right now. After the clips from the rehearsals at Sonic Pump studios,Time and the other two, I found the Forest Seasons, and I need to hear the 1 hour long album at least 2-3 times a day. And that's been going on for several weeks now.
I think I already know all the lyrics, singing along (my wife trying to sleep at night isn't very happy for that, but I just can't help).
As far as I know, the Forest Seasons is almost completely done by Jari himself. The drums actually are not real in the album, but I'm sure the live versions are not much different, When I finally find one.

Hey Anastasia, you already know Kai is the drummer of NW (and former drum tech + teacher for Jukka, NW's previous drummer) Pony tail guy is Jukka, the bass player replacing Marko in NW. All are damned talented. Fun fact: Guitar lesson!?- the guys from Wintersun give private lessons.
2 of them (Drums and Bass) are now at Nightwish, too. So of course they have to be good in their jobs...😂🤓

Hey beauty. You are very much correct about that insane amount of talent Jari has to write this kinda songs, it's amazing! And I also love that now when Kai and Jukka has gone playing also to Nightwish (they have never left Wintersun, remember that!), Wintersun gets more attention which adds pressure to Jari to release some god damn content some day! Wintersun has been in sleep for far too many years now and I CANT WAIT to get to gigs and rock the shit out of myself on live! I really hope there is albums to come in series for the next years and never this sleeping phase again.
Just amazing band. Jari has so much talent so it is a such a waste for these years not to have fresh Wintersun yet. Im lucky to have heard the original Wintersun - Wintersun album back in 2004, been a fan since. Try the latest album, Forest Seasons, also. The starting song for the spring-season "Awaken from the dark slumber" is a masterpiece.

Both the drummer and the basist are current members of NW, so Wintersun lacks them.
You should really check out the other "songs" from this album, specifically the other pieces from Sonic Pumpstudio.

hi from finland, i ordered the time package, you should too, over 70 songs of melodic metal.
Here's three potential surprises and delights: Darkwoods My Betrothed, Ensiferum and Smackbound.
I really think you would like also another famous Finnish melodic metalband, Amorphis. Please try "House of Sleep" or "Sister and Brother", or maybe more deep growls: "Death of a King". Some more new stuff: "Halo" or "Moon".😍🎶🎸

Kai, drums, and Jukka, bass, are now with Nightwish. Jari did almost everything himself. He had been very sick but I have heard he is much better now and I hope it's true. Nervousness can be good for a drummer when he has to play rapid-fire bass beats like that! The shaking foot! LOL!
It's called a "blast beat". And we should be calling them Winter Wish or Nightsun now, half of Wintersun is now in Nigthwish
If you want to know what Teemu (dark haired guitarist) do nowadays, you should check Smackbound/Run for Cover. They started as a cover band when they were still writing the songs for their first album, that's why two names. Он все сочиняет, сам все пишет, и и тексты, и музыку, сам все и играет,когда записывает альбом. Абсолютно удивительный талант. Настоящий финский Бог металла. При этом и самый раздражающий чел. Time 2 лично я жду уже лет 8. Жду больше любого другого альбома. А он все не выходит и не выходит. Тем более ,что 2 песни с этого альбома я слышал, и они необыкновенные.
