[amzn.to/2RkFCJS] -- Celia & Perah
*The issue my anker has is it won't charge past 3 of 4 lights and will never NOT be charging if plugged in. So its a borked unit. Ive not seen any issues on the Amazon reviews so its just me.
*My issue with the Minirig mini is the button sticks up and it will cycle on and off in a bag if it gets hit just right.

Yeah I tried these with Z's shoulder rig. It was insanely good. Stupid good.
And DMS hates everything usually!
Something we're in agreement on.
What happens to a central vocalist, for example? Where do you hear them with this rig?
They sing from inside your head
And now the MINIRIG 3’s are out! Bigger but fuller sounding, but wearing them would be even more ridiculous in my opion
I'm really glad you like the minirigs, I'm a big fan. In fact I have emailed them in the past and suggested they send you some trial units. You didn't mention that you can use them as powerbanks also.
Keep the reviews coming thanks man.
Took me a while, but I finally broke down and got the 2.1 setup. Totally happy I did! They rock. The EQU helps when I raise treble by two I’ve found using the EQ10 app and playing with its settings gives them a lil more umph!
Oh man a new Zeos video time to kick back and enjoy some quality conte...
"Wiz is best girl from Konosuba"
Megumin is true best girl and you can't convince me otherwise
Lalatina would be my choice
"Wiz"
@@Vosetri shhhhhh, there was no typo
lalatina 4 lyfe
How about we don’t care about that and actually talk about the goddam speakers
I bought 2 minirigs minis and a sub a couple months ago and damn, they still impress me every time I turn them on.
The great thing is how versatile they are. Need to watch some videos ? Get just one minirig. Need to relax while listening to your favorite songs ? Get the whole setup and enjoy every detail, from the bassest of guitars to the highest of hats. Need something light and easy to carry around ? Two of these will fit in your pockets and will be unnoticeable in your backpack as they take basically no space.
Friends are coming over and you want to get a party started ? The subwoofer is your man. Need to bring them at a friend's house ? Or bring them when camping ? Take all three of them with you, they weigh less than 1.5kg
They're loud, battery is everlasting, they can charge your phone, bass is deep n pounding the sound signature is precise.. can you ask for more ? I mean granted, they're not the cheapest..
Just learned you can use any minirig as a bluetooth reciever and the bigger minirig as a battery bank. Those things are awesome.
Yeah the normal minirig and the sub act as power banks, but the mini minirigs don't
i bought the original MiniRigs ,they are wired ,but put them on the floor in front of your chair 6ft apart.
...... they blew my mind... the separation and sound just are on the scale of 11 ... .. [ a rare audio thing that just makes you want to listen again, just to check what you heard was coming from these!!!]
Damn that mic setup, you can hear your neighbour vacuum just after 21:32. - Oh it's a leaf blower.
Just received my 2 new MR 3's and they are outstanding. Great speakers.
Usually I hate Bluetooth speakers but those mini rigs were very impressive.
when it comes to bluetooth...make sure the speaker/headphones/or whatever is 4.0 and above AND supports APTX!! >>APTX
He already loved the MPOW Rx-only which had BT 4.0 and only supported SBC.
Because SBC on "high" profile is already good enough for most out-of-the-house situations. And it also depends on the song itself if aptX is going to sound detectably better or not.
I'd believe you if you were this hyped about LDAC, but aptX is really not that much better than SBC, as a codec. SBC has a bad history because it was the first one and it got coupled with all kinds of shit DACs and amps before companies wised up.
@@d0nj03 I have the mpow and you can see in the setting that it does indeed support aptx and uses it has it's mian option. Both my phone/PC uses this mpow on aptx mode. So trust me...this is not some random misinformation. This is research I have done and you can find this information as well on the amazon page too if you don't believe me. It does support aptx. It's not even high aptx nor low lentacy aptx. Just the default aptx
That's the 4.1 MPOW. The old 4.0 MPOW Streambot Mini (first one he ever reviewed) does not support aptX. I btsnoop'ed it on my phone and opened the log with Wireshark: it doesn't advertise support for anything other than SBC.
@@d0nj03 oh sorry, the video I watch had the 4.1 version as the amazon page linked. So I figure it should be the same one he uses/used. Well the new one is aptx which has a higher bitrate/speed. The most important upgrade with aptx codic is the lag is greatly reduced. Don't think I have no aptx Bluetooth to compare the lag directly so I have to do it by numbers. Aptx is one of the best . In short just make sure the codic in used is of high quality. Aptx is built in phones/PC so I use it.
'I'm at a picnic and I whip this thing out'...nice
The cases have Carabiners. I clip them to my belt loops on each side of my pants Holey Moley!
@@daviddrake6875In Social Security line with these in cloth cases open at the top clipped to left and right belt loops. People say you get that sound from those? How much? I said about $150 each and they say only $150?
I've got the minis with two subwoofers and it's an absolute blast to listen to. Surprisingly accurate sound and I've also noticed at lower volumes they sound absolutely incredible near your ears. Also you have the older minirig app I believe. The newer one has a 5 band eq as well and other options.
At last someone that values
S T E R E O And what a way to listen to it. These things look and sound awesome. I discovered them last night and now I'm saving for a Minirig 3. 2.1 setup. 40 hours on full volume + device charging.
What a magnificent pair of Bristols, Minirig Minis rock 👊🏼
Antoine P
How many people will get that?
The peaks on them are rediculous😉
Hey zeos I just wanted to add a couple things about the anker
I have had this speaker for like a year now and after only a couple of months the glue that holds the cloth in place started to wear off. If I would play a bassy song the cloth would resonate with the bass and it would cause a distorted sound. like the sound you hear at 15:27 and 26:39 (you might have the same issue as well). So I decided to take the cloth off, this fixed the issue but now the speaker doesn't look nearly as nice as it did before
p.s. to skip a track you have to double tap the pause button
Thx
I am amazed that such a little circle can output so much sound...
Great comparison review as always! Man even if I'm in a bad mood I got to admit that you make me laugh based on some of your comments🤗
BTW hope you'll be doing more stereo mic reviews sounded really good!
Was born in Bristol! Amazing city for music. Not surprised something like this has come from there! Will have to check them out!
Hey Zeos have you ever done a simple straight rundown of all the headphones on your wall? You could explain what situations you like to use each one and where you think each excels.
Has Zeos tried making a crazy headband strap to make them into brain melting "speaker headphones" yet with a sub-woofer belt buckle?
I found this Wiz fanart on facebook, so I looked on google for the image and I got your video, thanks for leaving the source in the description S2
Btw Wiz best girl
Is he using the minirig mini or the minirig 2?.. Is the minirig mini with a bass worth it? The minirig 2 and 3 wont fit my backpack, but a minirig mini will.
I saw/heard some Opeth, you should demo more of their stuff. Opeth cares about mastering especially in the newer stuff.
Thrilled to see Opeth, sad it was only 1 second's worth. :-p
i think ZEOS should build a frame and put some headphone pads on the minirigs ... and wear them like earspeakers .... the most powerful headphones ever !!!
Thanks for doing this review - you are a fairly equal opportunity reviewer. But certainly have a special, original style.
You had a pair of Archeer A320 hanging around, I remember seeing them in the background of some old videos, the bamboo ones.. Ever come around to test them? If you want cheap and good Anker soundcore lineup rocks..
You just reinvented the neck speaker.
Stayed 'cause Glass Animals
Have you tried that Bose wearable speaker thing? Tyll liked it a lot. Same idea as your minirig shoulder setup.
I haven't but DMS has and he said they SUCKED. Which is why I valued his opinion here.
I can’t think of any audio reviewer who makes me come in for a laugh except for Z.
Wait a minute, vader seats? You got a bimmer?
The Bang and Olufsen Beoplay S3 is another very good option as far as Bluetooth speakers are concerned. Clavinetjunkie turned me on to that one.
acqua best girl. i've already seen the minirigs into a digital dj tips review years ago. they say you can actually use them as a portable setup when playing in small locations
You're going insane...I love it :D.
I just bought a bluetooth speaker a couple days ago. Of course you make the video AFTER I make the purchase.
Return policy?
Didn't expect you to break out the Imogen Heap on us.... Nice play
I used to have a 2.1 Minirig setup, but I broke them. I really liked them as well!
If you can ... could you review the JBL Bluetooth Speakers Compared to Anker Soundcore Pro+ Compared to Tornsmart SoundPulse™ 40W and whatelse you find good?
I have a Z2 Force as well, so every time Zeos' phone vibrated I found myself looking towards mine.
Also, Darkness is best girl. Wiz is a close second.
Excellent review. Omni-shit is they way to go for every day listningen. I remember the Swedish Carlson / sonab speakers from the 60 and 70's. OA-5. Floor standing and placed near walls and corners. Carlson had some different takes on things, much like ohm Walch.
You should check out the Kicker KPM50 I only paid like $70 Canadian and it has APT X. Like your expensive wood unit it comes with a case a AUX cord, USB charging cord and a power brick to charge it and yes it fits all in its case. It also sounds really good and has decent bass has two passive radiators one on each side. I showed my mother and my uncle both purchased one after hearing it.
Wiz is a 10/10 waifu
Holy fuck the mini rigs are good sounding
Zeos maybe you should try Series of Marshall "portable" speakers. I have Kilburn for two years and I really like how it sounds.
Best regards from Poland.
Woah stereo. Holy crap!
I know this is off the subject of bluetooth speakers but you should review the Tribit Xfree Tune headphones. They've been talked about all over the place and I wanted to see what you think about them.
I just bought a V-MODA 3.5mm cable from their website a couple a weeks ago. I am using it right now.
Had MiniRigs 1 which sounded good but £120 is too much.
I recommend JBL FLIP 3 not JBL4 but 3 it costs 1/3 of the price of MiniRigs and sounds equally good and it's waterproof.
why 3 and not 4?
@@JohnyMcNeal having JBL flip 3 bought JBL flip 4 but it sounded worst than Flip 3 (camo edition) - group opinion, tried updating firmware and equalizer still think flip 3 sounds better imo.
@@day3002 Flip 4 sounds a thousand times better than flip 3. Much lower and deeper bass, more natural mids and more wide open soundstage, what are you talking about ? The only issue the flip4 has is that the upper treble is way too boosted which makes it sound ear piercing. But even then it sounds more sparkling than the 3. And it's louder aswell..
And minirigs are mainly meant to be paired in stereo with a sub to reveal their potential, but I get that for someone who just sounds a compact practical portable speaker, a charge 3 or a flip will do a much better job. But when paired together, minirigs and a minirig sub can compete with very high class expensive speakers such as the vifa Copenhagen or the vifa oslo. So hey it all comes down to what you're looking for in a Bluetooth speaker
It would be cool if you can review the Marshall Woburn and the Riva Festival.
man benighted by opeth takes me the fuck back
U got to try the House of Marley get together I've had mine for over a year now the only thing the USB power is a little dirty so when I hook up my Chromecast audio I get a little noise other than that Red Rocks!
Is that a fiio m7? I also have one and love it.
I had minirig 1, 2, minirig sub1, curently own minirig3 +sub 3 and just ordered minirig3 +minirig sub3. Does that tells you something...
Can you please find out if you can plug a keyboard(music) directly into the iloud bluetooth or do you need an iOS device? No one's doing a video of this. Thanks
I live in UK and for the past few years have tried to only by domestically made products, how have I never heard of these speakers? I have shopped for stuff like this recently and not seen them. My search powers obviously suck. I'm a little bit angry about it, it is a common problem in UK that people don't learn of good things happening or being made here until they see an article about that thing closing because nobody showed up or found the product.
Yo Z, I bought the Tribit X-Boom recently for $63. I think it sounds pretty damn good for the money. I'm curious to see how it compares to some of the bluetooth speakers you've got.
First. 0:43 *inhales* Kay.
These are for me double the price with 2.1 compared to Harman Kardon Go+ Play. So which to go for?
There's now a Minirig 3 with substantially stronger bass and battery life (up to 100 hours).
Two of these may negate the need for a separate subwoofer.
I'll take Megumin over back pain any day.
Um.. HELLO.. You have to carry her back from everywhere, daily. YOU ARE THE ONE WITH THE PAIN!!
Touche'.
At least Megumin could help you move furniture. xP
Love your content Z. Never change.
you should put these in the can holders of a beer hat
are u ever gonna review the Harman Kardon Soundsticks III?
It's just apple nonsense now
23:30 is that song from Quigley Down Under?
Finally Z is into Bluetooth speaker! Throw all this shit away (not the mini rig‘s, they are damn good) and get the Vifa Oslo... dänish sound perfection.. and you know the dänish Sounds (buchardt s300 reminder 😉)
I couldn’t agree more. The Vifa Oslo is perfection.
I love minirigs. But i wish they were a little cheaper. @$500 for 2.1 is a little more than i want to spend. Hopefully one day someone else will come out with something similar but more affordable
Well they are portable hi fi so will be more expensive. Don't forget that they are not only designed in the UK, but manufactured in the UK as well, with higher labour costs. They're also handcrafted.
So when you take these factors into account, they're not THAT expensive.
And other speakers cost just as much if not more without sounding half as good.
Of course, I'd be happier if they were cheaper though......
Could be a stupid question, but for a bluetooth house usage what are better the Edifier S2000pros(or swan/M200MKIII havent decided which i would prefer) vs the minirig
Full sized speakers. Always.
That wallpaper.. mmmmmmm
yeah, those are just the right size :)
You could buy the Marshall stanmore for the price of that Celia and Perah.
If I got the 3 MiniRig speakers I would get them in 3 different colours.
Red for the left and green for the right, because that's how boats and planes do it. (Their lights on either side of the vessel are red and green, indicating which side is which from afar.)
Then I would either get the sub-woofer in blue or yellow. Blue because it's the third primary colour to compete the RGB set, or yellow because that's the colour you get when you mix red and green.
Which should I go for? HELP!
Pretty sure yellow is a primary color....
i really wish you could hold all three in that bad. Look for the tube bags they use to hold camera lenses maybe.
is that a BMW headrest attached to your Herman miller ? XD if so that's hilarious but also an ingenious idea
Clavinetjunkie another UA-camr uses binaural microphones in his bluetooth speaker videos.
yeah you get a much better idea of how they compare from his videos.
You know, Olav's only advantage is that he uses binaural microphones to record the speakers. When he got the stupid idea to review head gear, his channel went down a big black hole. And if you watch Zeos channel for other reasons than entertainment, you are watching the wrong channel.
"if you watch Zeos channel for other reasons than entertainment, you are watching the wrong channel."
um..
I used to watch his videos, but I stopped because of my fondness now for headphones and earphones.
Yeah I unsubbed from that idiot.
He's so fucking touchy and impossible to reason with and attacks everyone no matter what.
Just because he has a binaural mic doesn't mean he's the only one and honestly, I'd rather have zeos do this and expand his tests and reviews than return to that idiot full of himself
Megumin is the best girl... Any other stance on this matter is simply heresy
Did I hear some Opeth in there?
In the future, when Steely Dan comes on, you stop what you're doing and just listen.
what song is that at 14:09?
23:00 you can still hear the MiniRig playing faintly xD
Now if only the Klipsch R-14PM bluetooth speakers had built in batteries!
at the same price 2xmini rig or iloud micro, which sounds better ?
What did you get? I'm also choosing between them 2
As soon as i heard Imogen Heap i had to thumbs up and go listen to hours of her music.
Minirig should make mini desktop powered speakers like these.
when it comes to bluetooth...make sure the speaker/headphones/or whatever is 4.0 and above AND supports APTX!! >>APTX
Aptx makes a 0.3% difference in sound dude, check out clavinetjunkie
compared to the micromonitors how would you compare the minirigs?
The iLouds will crush them. But they also need a power brick and huge umbilical cord between the two. These are well worth the cost for convenience.
Hey Z, other than spotify how do you choose to get your music?
The old fashioned way.
@@ZE0SPantera You say the old fashion way, and I immediately imagine cassettes lol
Minirig 3 vs Minirig Mini video? :)
Try putting them in a corner facing the center of a room - lots of bass.
I prefer Lalatina over Wiz... *BECAUSE MONEY*
Doesn't hurt as long as she loves you.
Would the minirig setup be good enough for a living room?
I used it when I had my long blackout. As long as you have that sub it can do anything.
@@ZE0SPantera Noice
whats the name of the mp3 player that your using!?!?
Im using like 3 of them.

Shanling M0!!! I hope Z will release a review of it soon
glass animals is amazing
We need an update on Bluetooth speakers Zeos!!
why no ultimate ears? those are just as good/better than the anker and the UE roll can be hung off hooks and secured to poles
Wish he actually reviewed the Shanling M0!
what about the Bose soundlink Mini II? ik bose is like ehh, but i think this particular model is beast!
Try the harman kardon Go+play
What's the at 21:00?
Try the minirig 3,It's even more impressive If you can belive it.
Can you tell the MiniRigs which is Left vs Right?
The first one you pair is always left.
You should see if Logitech will send you their UE line of BT speakers to review.
