I sit somewhere between generally skilled and turtle depending on what I’m doing. I’ve got about 5,000 hours and learned a while back that sprinting everywhere gets you killed, I pretty much only sprint to reposition while sniping or to get through open areas now.
i wish i could play this game more. i quit after 1k hour because the game is just unoptimised. HEAVILY focused on no lifing quests and 10 min queue into cheaters is just WILD
@cringeorbased2803that’s what a lot of people seem to neglect when they suggest pve, not throwing any shade at all tho, i enjoy pve here and there (good practice for fighting bosses btw)
Depending on the difficulty of the semester, I've been on almost every section of the grid. After this winter semester, I shall become a batman/crackhead hybrid.
Glad to see us blue collar players represented lmao. Work full time with a wife and kid. I ain’t got time for pvp, I might make it to like level 5-10 in a normal wipe 😅 I got kappa on pve.
The problem with placing players in categories is that everyone will disagree on who is in which category, and everyone will be stuck in an endless debate about who is in which and what exactly constitutes each category. Just like the guy who sits still for 1/8 of a second and is called a 'rat'. My philosophy is simple: Do what works, avoid what doesn't, and to hell with what the guy that you killed think.
I’ve always thought I was an average gunner who is somewhat good at the game lore and economy, but when you said that an average player hovers around 30-40% survival red, I made a surprised face! I used to hover around 60% in PvP (80% in PvE now that I don’t play PvP, but I’m way more aggressive against bots as I’m sure that’s how most people are with AI). And then I realized I never played solo PvP because it’s brutal😂. That’s the secret to success and not ever being bored in Tarkov.
Got a chuckle from the Blue Collar bit and, yes optimisation and the rampant cheating is what pushed me to SPT. I don't even play it with mods. just the Server value modifier and a 9 hour raid timer. It's a far better way to learn the game, and from your descriptions, I've already switched playstyles a few times
With the kappa achieved, having maxed out strength and endurance, having close to 800 million in the Bank and having no interest in the wipe, I consider myself to be in the red corner as a Russian with mental problems.
realistically i just wanna play tarkov pve for fun i like stuffing my bags full of loot and trying to get out, and running duos or trios with a couple of people makes it so much more fun. and honestly i just suck at pvp games now. fell off super hard lol
i mostly play pve these days, my goal. have more money than all of my friends combine. my hobby? getting level 3 mastery with strange/bad guns, tt pistol, double barrel shotgun, ect.
I would be towards a creeper or generally skilled, as I push fights then back off once I get close, but as soon as I know where people are in the fights its W key swinging time while on the magical ibuprofen of infinite pain mitigation. I dislike when people just slow walk the entire fight and play super passive, instead of pushing. I would say when its free labs or late wipe I am a crackhead. Also always poor as I drop 300k into an M4 while having 1 mil roubles. The only wrong way to paly tarkov is cheating.
who would not be frustrated i played like a maniac since 2017 and the changed nothing lul the game is still trash on eu servers they changed nothing good they only bring sum unfinished shit in game and then they yust fix fix fix and than you need new pc cuz game is more graphically advanced than before...i could talk for a year about this game and their downgrade on it...
Download Stalcraft for free ( stalcraft.net/s/4ygaLV ) and get a boost with code "LEVITICUS24" !
god bless you with mountains of gold and silver may god internes not allow fights between dragons and tigers.
Fr rn stalcraft isn't that bad but it's Grindy so get ready to dump your life into it

"mald then move on" or as i call it "cigarette break"
Hey hey. We rats don't just use bushes.
Anywhere at a higher elevation to our prey is perfectly valid.

the white man yearn for the excel sheet.
You forgot the hidden Z-axis, people who've stopped playing this torturous game in favor of much better uses of their time, and much better games.
