This solo... is definitely one of the best guitar solos in history.
Doesn't have to be the fastest, although that shit is insanely fast... but the technique and quality is on another level.
you only know one song...? or why do you think that solo should be something special...?
@@seelenwinter6662 I know they have some really good solos, but this one in particular gives me such a satisfying feeling, and I already explained why in the last sentence of my initial comment buddy.
I don’t think anyone can make a solo list and not have that in their top ten, probably even in their top 5. It’s just perfect in so many different ways.
Kevin Lee
@@seelenwinter6662 even the band congratulated Marty when it was recorded, because he apparently did it in one take and it was immediate fire.
I almost shat myself laughing when I first heard Dave's voice but now I can't imagine anyone else singing megadeth's songs with that energy
VOLC4NICxSP4RK same the vocals on sweating bullets almost killed me
And imagine singing that flat voiced songs playing this flat riffs. Just try singing playing it. It's god damn difficult. Some of recommend songs are... Dread and the fugitive mind and Lucretia.
It's one of those voices you have to get used to. It's an acquired taste, but I think he's a really talented vocalist---just not in the most traditional sense.
I used to dislike his voice, but it grew on me a lot. I actually like his voice a lot now.
Yeah, a lot of us have grown to like it
I love 7:40 "we need to start keeping track of the best solo's" Well buddy, you can start by putting this at #1.
He insta knew that this is prob the greatest solo of all time
Easily the GOAT solo.
this solo is phenomenal and deserves probably the first place, but there are so many great ones... i would put some efforts from Tony T Baron from Coroner a little higher than this one maybe
or the Painkiller solo?
The solos in Holy wars/punishment due are pretty close , but they are spread out over the song .
after marty friedman played this solo dave mustaine walked over to him and shook his hand
correct! that was the moment of accepting him into the band
@@marinkoswag9254 Yup! Marty is a legend it's to bad he got kicked! I love playing this guitar solo on my guitar! I did a cover on it for my channel!
Shred With Dignity I just checked it. You did amazing job my friend. Keep it up.
Marty admitted that they were so perfectionist that he'd write three solos for every Megadeth song.
Funnily enough he joked that Dave always picked the worst one 😆
@@shredwithdignity1378 Did he get kicked or did he choose to leave?
I have loved watching you guys turn into metal heads.
Me to
One year later after this comment, I had the privilege of thumbs upping you to 666 likes.
dude that's very metal
Totally agree bud!!Lol
Honestly googled this cause, i needed confirmation on how sweet this song is, and man if this video didn't exist, i'd be sad. Not to be racist, but even better for 2 people of color to be open to some metal.
I'm jealous of you guys. I wish I could hear these songs for the first time all over again.
Cant agree with you more Joe. Music like this heard for the first time is actually life-changing.
Joe Rodney hell yes man
omg.....I was addicted.....wait....its been 30 yrs.....guess I still am
Honestly...being able to watch their genuine reactions is the closest anyone will probably ever come to finding that same joy to hearing that iconic sing again for the first time...
Doesn't matter how many times I hear that solo I still get goosebumps
I remember Dave's voice being off-putting to me at first, but it grew on me so fast that I could never imagine anyone but him singing them
To be honest I never really minded the way his voice sounded I think I might be one of the only people who liked his voice on the first listen
When this came out his voice was a noticeable difference from the prior album for sure, but the music was so insanely good it took about ten seconds to get past it, lol.
The snarl suits the lyrics, plus it’s distinctive because it sounds like no one in metal.
NO ONE sounds like Dave.
@@blackbolt679 I liked it too , now I love it
@@katieb8511 yeah his voice is primal and intense perfect for metal
They aren't technicians... they're mechanix
they are waste of time...
@@seelenwinter6662 How so?

@@joelm5509 I think he just really dislikes Megadeth, been all over the comment section talking about how he doesn't like them
JeneralJitan MEKANIX!!
The bald dude is such a fucking metal head man. I love it. Too bad he has not realized it yet hahaha
I know right he fucking loves it but probably doesn't tell his friends who are in to Kanye West and Dre.
Serpico's Beard he will be accepted into the metal community with open arms lol
6:40 That moment just before you are herring the best metal solo ever.
I mean I wish I can go back to the first time I heard this amazing solo.
I am envying everyone who is hearing this for the first time.
Heard it for the first time last week and I'm still listening to it on repeat lol!
Maaaan, so true. I feel you!
Totally agree! !!
Amen
As a non metal guitar player, this is one of the few metal solos I could listen to over and over....
The whole album Rust in Peace is a masterpiece. It’s one big guitar extravaganza!
Top thrash album of all time. Heathen victims of deception is badass too
The bloody album should be UNESCO Humanity Patrimonium seriously. If i met an alien I would introduce him to human music with Tornado and PinkFloyd Time. This 2 songs have glorious guitar.
Don't forget the drums and bass
Peace sells is great and so far so good so what. But rusty is my favorite
😏🤣😎!!!😈
You can see on Dave’s face that he hears them mock his voice
Nah, and I'm sure he doesn't care about what others say
lmao
@@mprogger5476 he certainly does 😂
Every song on the "Rust In Peace" - album is a masterpiece, it is by far their best album!
Lord Turbomöse killing is my business has some gems Too, but you're right.
Peace Sells but Who’s Buying is another one
^Countdown all the way!
Peace sells is fucken amazing
That´s right and just a few other Metal albums can compete with this.

*tornadoouu*

Hanging up aah wanted to crawrr
xD
I love Mustaine, but occasionally his inner-Beavis gets the best of him. (:
In my opinion, this solo has a good song in it
Mustaine: "'Tornado of Souls' was written the day I broke up with my fiancé; it explains what I went through, how I sprang out of it. I thought my existence was in that relationship - I was trapped in the eye of a tornado, and if I stepped out of line, I'd be blown to oblivion. No more whirlwind romances for me. If I do get back in that situation, I'm gonna be very aware now and check the weather before I get involved."
Megadeth- HANGAR 18. I promise you'll LOVE IT!
Fun fact: This solo, not only is the greatest single metal solo of all time, but it's one the THREE TOTALLY IMPROVISED takes that Marty did in the studio for this song. Dave decided this was the best one. I wonder if we will ever hear the other two. Exactly 60 seconds of pure amazing phrasing and soloing. Marty Friedman is a fucking genius.
My comment got 70 likes, damn son
Its not even close to the greatest dont be a fanboy.
@@Nichwar19 ok clown.
@@ForwardTu shut up pig
@@Nichwar19 yeah...kirk hammett's solo is better.🤘😄
Makes you glad that Dave got fired from Metallica. Otherwise we would not have these masterpieces.
hahahahahahahaha... that whole song is only a waste of time...

Seelenwinter 666 let’s be real Megadeth only rlly bad rust in peace
Or they would have been super watered down by Lars’ “drumming”.
🤘
Megadeth riffs = other bands' solos
Also why is Dave watching silently from the back of the room?
Alex 🤣🤣🤣right?
Dave don’t like them cracking on his voice👍👍👍
He's watching silently because they didn't like it when he was not silent in the song

Just like ozzy Osborne in black sabath
Eli Davis well black sabbath did have Dio as their singer for a couple years
That guitar solo has its own Fan club😅!
Seriously, it does 😳 .
You are right on the money.
Dave is one talented guy, writes a great song, shreads on guitar and does a mean impersonation of Daffy Duck. Hey, multi talented. Quack quack.
he was in an episode of Duck Dodgers (in space no one can hear you rock)
👍😂😂
No,but he does a mean Alex Jones impression, with all the jesus and how everything is out to get his sponsor’s money!
But if it was not for him, the would not been a Metallica!
He said it on Tv,I heard it.
But Dave aside, the band Megadeth has the Drummer and the second Guitarist also, his “disposable heroes” (no joke)
I love Dave, a huge fuckin arrogant douche and an awesome trash metal guitarist!
This will probably not piss anyone off, but I think Kirk is the better of those.
Kirk doesn’t walk around the world like he owns the place,
that makes him a better guitarist than Dave,FACT!
I hope this clears things up.
Love.-I
Yeah, that is Dave Mustaine singing. His voice has always been ... controversial ... but I don't think I could imagine Megadeth without it. I see it as a critical part of the tension in their music.
Very well worded
it's kind of funny to see their initial reaction and recognizing that was my own the first time I heard it. but it's like you said. I love the sound and I wouldn't want it to sound any different
Yeah like I can’t really listen to mustaine singing anything else but when it’s his own work. It works
it gives that apocalyptic feeling. Used to play Megadeth song while playing a fallout game . Dope as fuck haha
There's an amazing video of Kiko Loureiro (Megadeth's lead guitarrist) practicing this song até home
“Practicing” Lmao
Kiko is amazing. Not that Marty is anything less than God-like. But i can't imagine trying to learn to play Marty's solos to the precision they need to be.
The video of Kiko practicing at home: ua-cam.com/video/9CYuJcUeF6k/v-deo.html&start_radio=1
I like Kiko too, but he made this song look slow because of his both ways strumming instead of downstroke. But he gave me the permission of playing this song in a more simple way (rhythm) which I struggled with downstroke.
@@theanfieldfaithful9916 keep practicing your downstroke. The tornado of souls spins only one direction, your hand should too.
That solo was Marty Friedman's 1-minute masterpiece I would want to hear if I had one minute left of life.
Guys, you're blown away by Megadeth :)) now you understand what is heavy metal music
rolla good, can you listen to the Weeknd now? Listen to rockin 8)
Holy Wars, Tornado Of Souls... now for Hangar 18 to make the trifecta complete!

metfan4l Megadeth - Take No Prisoners
Megadeth on this album was arguable the best metal band talent wise ever
You could say that about Peace sells too
Dream theater? They are literally known for being like the best
bro this album might be the best thrash album ever. even considering iron maiden as thrash
@@evanstanich8435 does anyone consider Iron Maiden thrash? I think they’re worlds from it. If anything possibly speed metal but even that seems a little far for how big of a name they are for traditional metal.
They have some great talent now although ellefson seems to have misguided himself for a bit recently
That solo still blows my mind after all these years!!!
One of THE best ever. Been a metalhead over 30 years, that's STILL one of the best
In the eye of the tornado, IT BLOWS ME AWAY!!!
Megadeth is about the Guitar. Musicians appreciate Megadeth more than non musicians because musicians understand the talent involve and the innovations Megadeth brings to Metal. They are Metal Masters.
And drums. As a guitarist, I love those Take No Prisoners riffs but man.. those drums in Rust In Peace...Polaris make me forget the rest of the band.
especially once you know what Dave is bringing to the table lol both lead vocals and lead guitar, his guitar work is legendary of course but then to sing with that is another thing completely
indeed!
Yes !!! Try to play and sing the rhythm I Dare you... Then play half the solos while singing . for over 30 years. yes Dave Mustaine Metal God! Fuck Anything or Anyone Metalillica !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IMO.
I'm so glad you guys loved the solo because Marty Friedman is one of the greatest lead guitarists of all time!
Marty!!! Best metal solo ever!!! This song!!!
Yeah, until he left the band to play japanese pop
Squidward's Testicles your right man, guy sucks ass these days
Squidward's Testicles He is him, you're not him, he's doing whatever the fuck he wants.
Check out his work on B: The Beginning, he's still a great songwriter and guitarist.
7:35 this part of the solo, to me, always sounded like Marty was making the guitar cry. Not just cry, but straight up sob. Absolutely beautiful
The guitar may not be crying but my fingers sure are after playing that solo.
That particular part is wtf, all over the place, no rhythm, zero sense... shear genius.
For a weeping, mourning, lamenting soul of a guitar crying, you need to listen to Pink Floyd - Time, and then check out much of their other stuff. Shine On You Crazy Diamond is also up there on the top.
See? Everyone can be a metal fans once you understand what does it mean to produce an 80's metal song. So much talent that you just have to respect it and move your head.
Domination by Pantera. Super heavy breakdown and amazing solo
Dimes solos were great because they had melody. It wasn't just speed diddleing for 8 measures.
Wh2mbarz you got that right!!!
UP
Would love to see their reaction to the end of that tune.
It’s hard to pick just one Pantera song given the groove and amazing solos present in a lot of their songs but Domination is definitely a good start.
Marty Friedman’s solo was arguably one of the best guitar solos they produced. Technically challenging, melodious, raw and intense.
Robert Ross one of the best recorded solos period IMO
The most technical awesome solo ever!
Marty has written a lot of technically great pieces.
along with Lucretia, off the same album! :D
Exactly🎸
That was crazy guitar solo I’ve ever heard. There’s speed, emotional, blues and even chaos in it. Nobody will create that again after hundred year.
I love how he sings, it's so perfect for the music
Mastodon - Oblivion next?
As far as heavy modern bands who have amazing guitar solos, I'd say Mastodon is right at the top of the heap. Bluesy, crunchy goodness. And an insane drummer. And three vocals.
I think Oblivion is a good entry point into their music.
Stefan Stojanovic Gotta be The Wolf Is Loose!!! Oh mannnn!!
Could not agree more to this. I've requested this a few times myself, but the first time I've seen someone else do so. Gives me hope we'll see it later now
Oblivion yes!
Yes to this
Oblivion would be a good choice. Dry Bone Valley hooked me.
Hangar 18 for the next Megadeth one! So many riffs and solos
And the riffs AND the solos at the same time! Rust In Peace is pretty much power/thrash guitar perfection.
Hell yeah!
I agree Hanger 18 but maybe switch it up with some 80's Megadeth and last rites / love you to death would be a perfect change up. Please everybody agree.
Very difficult solos - Marty Friedman
Difficult solos - Dave Mustaine
😎👏🏼👍🏼👊🏼
Like Dave said once in an interview. Marty plays with love and I play with hate.
I can’t express the joy I’m experiencing watching outsiders of metal appreciating the enormous skill involved, especially regarding Megadeth.
one of the best metal solo (tornado of souls)
Im like dudes just wait till you hear the best thrash solo ever.
Vinnie Moreno lmao same
Your profile pic has alerted me to the fact that these guys would LOVE God of Thunder, or maybe Psycho Circus which I think is very underrated.
this ain't skin of my teeth
Vinnie Moreno I love your profile picture
This is the magic of Megadeth.
Rust in peace is nuts...
The fact that they both tried to keep headbanging during the solo, but at some point stopped and just had a dumbfounded expression each, speaks volumes.
Everyone that's ever heard this song/solo has experienced the same.
You're headbanging hard till you realize what you're actually hearing
It' like....maaaaaaaan.....
DAAAMN that was insane
Dave said in an interview the reason recent bands don't have solo's is because they don't know how to play a guitar
martysoprano 😂😂😂 true that mate
That and they don't understand music composition to the level where they can integrate it seamlessly into the song
Everybody today just wants to chug the fucking E string
martysoprano and it's true
Man you guys are out of the loop, tons of metal bands are still soloing like mad but your not going to hear them unless you put some effort. metal is not a popular genre and besides a select few most albums will have small amounts of views. Check out the channel NWOTHM (New wave of traditional heavy metal) Full albums at ua-cam.com/channels/CGbKiCJjph8Grazqmo7z4w.html, or New Wave Of Old School Thrash Metal channel ua-cam.com/channels/D5Ny_jQ8cs9JXVPWXg9iNw.html and get digging like true metal fans. its a treasure hunt this genre.
This solo is by Marty Friedman, and it is considered to be one of the best solos in all of metal. Watching your reactions to it, I could see that you both have really good ears.
OpnDoarPlcy But I think his solos in Hangar 18 are better, even if ever so slightly
The solo is incredibly hard and melodic at the same time. I cant see how Marty doesnt have carpal tunnel.
Yeah Marty Friedman is the best... He doesnt like the notes to be palm-muted and maybe thats why his every solo can give you orgasms...
He has really weird technique to look at because he bends his wrist so far on his right hand, but I think it keeps his hand from moving very much so maybe it is what's prevented him from getting tendonitis or carpal tunnel or whatever.
Their reaction was fucking cute (no homo), i see my younger self listening to this song the first time in it
Watching you guys become metal heads these past couple years has truly been a treat and an honor, metal has been given a bad reputation due to the satanic panic of the 80's and radio exec's not playing a majority of the metal music that exists due to "moral concerns". Metal was bringing up the issues of environmentalism, social justice, corporate greed, and political corruption over 30 years before anyone even considered them real issues, Metal has ALWAYS been political and it is reflected by its listeners who are(for the most part) intelligent, thoughtful, well educated people who are open to anyone(regardless of race, creed, or color) who enjoys the music, energy, and message of metal.
Once metal enters you heart it never leaves, it changes you and your perspective on the world.
Welcome to the community gentlemen, you are one of us now.
I always loved Dave’s voice right from the word ‘go’. Totally unique.
Awesome! You guys need to do Pantera - Domination (Live) From the Monsters of Rock concert in Russia! Phenomenal guitar work from Dimebag Darrell! RIP
Megadeth isn't just talented with their instruments, Dave Mustane has a VAST vocal range. They are 100% impressive and my top favorite metal bands. That's why Dave sounds differently here.
Dave is technically good at singing - it's just that his voice isn't good for singing. Sort of like must of us. But hey, he makes due, and Megadeth are still amazing
I think it's the other way around. His vocal colour is really good, it's just that due to his minimal training and professional guidance in singing he uses his voice the wrong way. If you listen to Back in the Day where for some reason he seems to put a lot more effort into his singing it sounds amazing! Also he uses his nose too much to sing and that makes some parts of his singing sound wimpy.
You can’t react bad, when you have such a serious look of Dave Mustaine behind your back:)
Ryan@ 6:09 "Duuuude...c'mon!" That one phrase sums up the voice that pops up in everyone's head every time we have something musical that touches that true, authentic, core feeling that makes us love metal in the first place. I love seeing your reactions and watching metal turn you into believers. Horns up guys 🤘
Tornado of souls = best solo ever
Kiwi Conor Marty is sick on this track!
All hail marty!
Marty is a fucking legend
That moment when you hear this solo for the first time...
They intuitively couln't pause the song while on the solo, just saying... that solo gets you emotionally invested
@Lord Belial How dare she!
first time after a long time... that is the moment, when you know again, why you never liked that band...
6:08 "Dude Come on" - I love watching these guys "get it". 30 years later sounds better than ever and it's awesome to watch these guys react...
I love you guys! I appreciate you listen to all kinds of music and give honest reactions. You see it as it is. You guys rock!
That's actually Marty Friedman playing that guitar solo.
Dave´s voice fits this music perfectly; There is some punk in his voice...passionate, angry, gritty....love it...Love Metallica, but Megadeth speaks ta me a bit more ! More Van Halen, Megadeth, and Metallica Fellas..come on !!
Law Dawg yep Megaderh has always hit me better than Metallica. I love them both but just like Megadeth better
sounds speed up slightly to avoid copyright this sounds like a more shrill Dave than its original form.
I think its not sped up. If im recalling it correctly there is a version online with 1 or half tone up to avoid copyrights
totally agree his voice has aggression
This entire CD will blow your mind. One of best Dave wrote. What made fall in love with metal
Love you guys' videos. I've heard most of these songs a million times, and I remember how excited and pumped I was the first time, so it's pretty cool to see that same excitement from someone else.
as a hip hop head myself I love these guys because they expose me to the metal universe as well. I relate to everything they're saying. It's crazy too because i was once a guitarist but hip hop consumed my sou; and I've never turned back. But after watching these videos, I think its time to pic up the old fender and start incorporating it into my future beats.
Mark Gray I wish you luck on that man 😀
Just don’t end like Lil Wayne.

I love Dave Mustaines voice.. Id have it no other way!!!
That dave impersonation killed me 🤣

Marty Friedman is why this album is so good. Dave Mustaine is awesome but Friedman is why this album is so melodic. He was one of the best neoclassical metal guys at the time.
That's a myth, Dave has all the writing credits on the Rust in Peace album, Marty barely wrote any of it.
Owen Murphy ... dave wrote 90 % the other 10 % was written by dave and dave

Marty only wrote solos pretty much
greffett1969 yes but not in a vacuum. Listen to demos w Poland's solos!

Great job on these reactions, guys. Love watching yall. On this album, Take No Prisoners is the fastest, craziest song.
youve heard nothing until you hear Megadeth - In My Darkest Hour. it will blow you away. the greatest transitions of all time.
That song is me !!!
Michael Horn I made same comment!!!!! Amen bro..
Salman Tahir YEESSSSSSS!!
It was pretty ballsy for Dave to put those lyrics on a metal album cuz he was totally admitting how vulnerable he was feeling. Not your typical metal disposition....which made me respect Dave that much more for doing it....it was ok to feel shitty and hurt after being dumped and letting people know about it
Still waiting for them to listen to it lol
When you guys get really excited about a song I am bouncing right along with you! That was Dave singing, the difference is in Holy Wars he's using throat voice and this one is more head voice. It's quite an amazing range what one voice can do with different techniques.
LuthienC Mustaine has one of the worst voices in Metal history. I can't enjoy Megadeth at all because of his "singing"
Dave has never been much of a singer, however, that has never stopped me from enjoying Megadeth. It took me some time to get into his vocals though and I am sure you will too.
I agree with you. I don;t think he is one of the better singers in metal at all. I was only mentioning to the guys that this was an example of the range a voice can have using different singing techniques.
Charles Hendrix
Shit singer I agree ..very good role player though and to be sure, one of the best band leaders of all time. 75+% of musicians fail in covering a Megadeth song.
30 years and we're still gushing over this!!! I saw them during Reconning Day 95 tour and it's still my favorite concert to this day
I get goosebumps seeing your reaction to these badass songs. One of the BEST for SURE!
RIP Nick Menza - good to see the appreciation
RIP. Still makes me sad
The "in her way I'll surely die" is about drug use, specifically heroin, which is always used in lyrics in female form
Except GnR - Mr Brownstone. But otherwise, ya.
Well, the term heroin was coined from "heroine" which, of course, is a female hero.
actually it's from just "hero"
That's a very poetic interpretation which sounds cool, but unfortunately Mustaine himself has said on many occasions that the song is simply about a relationship gone very, very wrong.
Though there are indeed some lyrics here which *could* be related to drug use (and indeed, some quite literally are "Not from the years, not from the USE..."), the rest are pretty plainly about a female love interest, current or former.
The lyrics on the album intentionally have multiple layers of interpretation. Hidden treasures in cryptic writings.
"...and if that was Dave, it was making up for the vocals."
*Dave Mustaine wants to know your location*
I remember when I heard this song for the first time, the entire evening I spent in the corner with headphones on, this album is really a masterpiece! Also, Dave Mustaine is one of the greatest guitar players I have ever heard. I like your comments very much and thanks the music connecting us, all genres and colors. Subscribed.
George, the look on your face at 7:38 is PRICELESS. It's though you're looking at the camera as if to say... "I don't believe my F'n ears because NOBODY should be able to play that". Couldn't agree more, man.
MEGADETH: HANGAR 18! NEXT!
speaking of some good shredding dude!!! YEAH!!!!!
They're not gonna like that one.
BrewNCode

Really, three songs from the same album? I'd vote for "Peace sells"!
Yeah, I see your point. I'm not a huge fan of Hangar 18 myself though, I dig Polaris and Lucretia more.
"Train of Consequences" would be a good pick though, since it'd be cool for them to discover a different side of Megadeth. "Symphony of Destruction" would also be an interesting choice.
Love your vids. You guys are fun and really give hard rock /metal bands a fair shake..
Great video, guys!
Hangar 18 but complete song, not official video! - Megadeth lml
Nick Menza at his best!!!
RIP Nick
he was a beast
The lack of drum fills made the musicality of his drumming suffer. It's very bland.

Or hangar 18 just for the sake of it😂lol
black.c5 lol
Man I cannot believe I just now stumbled onto you guys! Nice to see you two recognizing greatness across the genres! You got a fan in me! Sorry I am late to the party!
Marty Friedman is one of the finest players to grace the world of thrash metal, His work solo and with Jason Becker is sick, His playing is and always with Mustaine will always be my number one duo in Megadeth, Chris Poland was bloody awesome also and the current guy Kiko is stunningly good and from all the lead players since Marty Friedman, Kiko nails Marty's solo parts better than any of his predecessors bar Marty himself obviously. The Mustaine is no slouch either and on that album in particular as a fan is to Me about as close to perfect as is possible \m/
Don't forget Randy Rhodes he is a legend
Mustaine impressed me by having to relearn guitar after his injury. To not only get TO the level they were at, but to get back there after having that taken away from you, bravo, dave.
dude, Chris Brodericks no slouch....he nails the solos too
Nekro Dean Sardonic Wrath agree 100 percent..I really wish dave and kiko hooked up years ago..they really have great chemistry
Marty is great. I saw him live a few days ago in a small club. Great show.
Marty Friedman, the guitarist that was in Megadeth on that era once said that every solo he records is basically improvised (he also said it can took just a few takes or a lot o them to finally get one everyone likes). But solos like that just says how creative that man was/is.
this solo wasn't improvised lol. he even has said that he spent a long time writing it. he's a fantastic artist but nobody just improvises a solo like this.
@@ballbustinbravo EVH did improvise a lot
@@ballbustinbravo I heard from other source that he didn't spent too much time with that solo really, but Dave Mustaine was so damn impressed when he heard him playing it first time in the studio.
@@ballbustinbravo Tornado of Souls was improvised. Marty himself said in his IAmA in Reddit and his website also states the same.
@@ballbustinbravo Guthrie Govan improvises 99% of his solos.
This is a legendary song. It will never suck. The music is perfect and Dave sounds like an evil witch...in a good way though I understand it’s an unusual voice. It grows on you
Love you guys keeping it real. Keep up the good work. Dig your channel.
For great solos, try Hangar 18 or Wake Up Dead
Erdal Yoluak this has my favorite megadeth solo
wake up dead for maximum groove
