This is so useful and incredible! thank you for sharing this info with the world!!
This is sick! Literally never knew SFM had aim constraints
Bro Fr
You always learn somethin new in SFM
what are constraints in sfm?
THE WINGLET YOOOOO
Aimbot
Cool stuff Anomidae! Thanks for this guide. Looking forward to the next one.
ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh kn hi buddy
HELOOOO
I shouldn't be surprised that the guy that made the interloper made an amazingly animated tutorial. Amazing I love it!
0:00 Ape Escape: Pumped & Primed Soundtrack - Prologue
1:10 Ape Escape: Pumped & Primed - Rival's Theme
3:19 Ape Escape OST - Stadium Attack
Damn, he sure loves Ape Escape
"Okay, trust me, this is relevent"
*last frame shows X
... Go on.
I don't use sfm and I don't know why I clicked on this video because I knew it wasn't more Interloper, but actually it's really useful outside of sfm coz I didn't know about camera rigging in 3d animation and this gave me some insight. Thanks!
With enough useful tips like this, you might be the next Jimer Lins!
I doubt that I will use this type of camera soonish, but I must say it will gonna be userful when that day comes!
Neat guide btw.
Looking forward for this type of guides and the other content.
this is one of the best sfm tutorials out there, its easy to follow, understand and its quite short.
I don't even use sfm but your videos are so well made and entertaining! Love your stuff
Here's a cool thing i learned with sfm
I end up using human models as camera holders, so they bend with their actual spine and their heads control it like this
I also end up using walking animations for a handheld camera look like in scenes where people are walking
I haven't used SFM in forever but now I kinda wanna try this 🤔
i will make good use of this omg
THANK YOU!
SFM'S ARE GONNA BE BREWING! THIS IS GONNA HELP SO MUCH!
Wish I found this sooner, this is a massive help
I dont even animate but I watched the whole thing. This is extremely impressive, and I cant believe you are giving this advice for free
Demoknight with the Saxxy is crazy.
In LOVE with the ape escape music. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🙌🙌🙌🙌 Thank you so much for these tips!! I'm Duke, an animator for hire but also not a professional. But good enough for commissions. I will absolutely use these tips in the future!! ❤️🫂
Another thing I wanted to get into was advanced Pose to pose animation. I know the basics and im pretty sure alot of others do cause of Jimmer lins videos. But Jim doesn't go into THIS amount of detail! Growing up i used to animate picture by picture with my action figures and make them move around in video form growing up. Then when SFM came out it was like a dream come true. 😍
More interloper pls
Hmmmm 🤔
Bro thank you so much you helped me a lot
I saw the thick rat thank you for including him
Good video! Thank you
I found you from the Interloper series, and just recently picked up SFM and started learning. And these tutorials are so helpful and easy to follow along with! Thank you for all your hard work mate! You're truly doing amazing work.
I do have a quick question. Is it possible to save the camera settings for future use? Like if I set it up during one session can I export and import it into future ones or would I need to set it up each time? (I imagine not) anyway, thank you for these awesome tutorials!
sick guide ^ not what i was looking for, but a very useful tool ^^ and u even covered S2FM ^
I'm never using this or remembering this, but cool ass video anyway, hard work shows itself
ROFL, I literally did not know this, amazing
Thank you brother ❤❤❤❤
Thank you brother ❤❤❤❤❤
Underrated
that is so awesome!
Very useful
i like how he's just a little guy.
I’m trying to rig eyes on a fnaf model that don’t have an eye focus built into it, how would I go about doing that?
Edit: I found out that the constraint aim option only appears when I have BOTH models clicked, it even says this in the video. Idk how I missed this obvious piece of info but I fixed it so that’s that I guess! 😅
Can this apply to the eyes of a model? like in most models that I have they have something called "viewtarget" and it's sort of like a aimer for the eyes and they follow the view target
Really cool setup! Is there any equivalent for this camera setup in Unreal by any chance?
can't speak for unreal personally but in theory you should be able to replicate this setup by finding the equivalent contraints, since they do appear standardly thru many software like blender, maya, c4d, etc
next tip idea
how to get the version of badwater that isn't missing the building
Cute avatar!
this is very well made but 0:22 looks like camera work straight out of Xavier renegade angel
Can you make a vid where you show some Sfm workshop addons, mods or models that are useful especially for beginners
Wait a minute...
@Anomidae I'm having difficulties trying to constraint aim in sfm, every time I try, it doesn't show up at all.
my sfm keeps crashing every time I try to lock the camera transform to the axis helper, very confused about that. other than that I learned something new!!
just realised you mention this i'm dumb
How-to Fluid character movement.
are you animating your character by using a motion suit? the animation looks like what therussianbadger does
kinda sus the way the character is moving, i think the interloper "mystery" is made by anomidae and animated using motion capture
i guess my computer can't handle this, every time i try to lock the pivot it crashes
Amazing guide, too bad i wont use source filmaker ever
What is your opinion on s2fm
what is the computers shelf thing prop called? i have been trying to find it
thats Teamfortress thank for the vid tho.
i was gunna say. "use of dmnpc huh?" and then i heard it idk what yet but i saw and heard somthing.
ok like wtf. i saw somthing getting attacked it was too pixelated and monochrome to tell but i think it was the dmnpc that was used when guiding the video.
Level 99🗿🗿❗❗
how rude, you keep flicking us off with those jazz hands of yours. (i actually liked the video. its extremely helpful please dont be offended by my sarcasm)
😂
M!!!
This is to hard to me..
Pass..
who are you
Edit: oh you, cool
Good tutorial PogChamp
