    That’s so cool that they included the USH&F ending there.
    Also saw this at the theater when I was like 4.

    I saw the USH&F tag back at Midway Drive-In after the screening of "Leatherheads" back in Summer 2008.

    I do remember seeing this the day on (or after) this came out... 'cuz it was right after my 7th birthday. I do clearly remember activating the Best Buy MovieMode app during the credits to decipher the Minion speech...

      I do remember seeing an ad for that prior to the film when I originally saw it theatrically back in 2010.

    I saw Shrek and Despicable Me at my local theater, but I didn’t stay to the end and on separate days.

    I saw this movie in the actual theater on October 3rd, 2020 at a REGAL CINEMA before they shut down again and their master is also the 2010 print with the PG bumper and the USH&F promo at the end. Pretty Cool.

    Digital Cinema versions doesn’t have SMPTE Foot/Tail leader at the end, only on film.

    How the MPAA Rated PG Screen looks different using a Theatrical print instead of the Blu-ray?!

    Was the 2013 Universal logo on the drive-in print of Shrek?

    That is strange, The MPAA PG Rating screen appears 2 times

    They were using that universal theme park ad with a logo from the 90s in 2010?

      Apparently. Strangely enough, I do remember seeing it when I saw this movie back in theaters in 2010. I THINK they updated it starting with The Lorax, although I could be very wrong.

      Gavin King I’m trying to figure out when they switched it right now personally and I’m just wondering why these universal theme park tags seem to only be used in theatrical releases.

      When you saw it in theatres back in 2010, was it a 35mm screening or a digital one?

    • @gavinking8761
      @gavinking8761  4 роки тому

      If my memory is reliable, I believe it was a Technicolor 3D screening. Meaning it was a 35MM 3D print of the movie presented in their over-and-under lens format. You can read more about it here: www.technicolor.com/news/technicolor-3d-launches-north-america-more-150-screens

    Do you have the opening logos to it from that screening?

    • @gavinking8761
      @gavinking8761  4 роки тому +1

      I didn’t record them, but they’re the same logos seen on the Blu-ray and DVD copies of the film - nothing has changed.

      No NBCUni byline? Or the NBCUni byline was intact?

    • @iGuy2007
      @iGuy2007 4 роки тому +1

      NBCUNIVERSAL byline is intact on this one. Like Gavin said, “nothing has changed”

    I dreamed of going to Universal Studios Hollywood.
    Or Florida.
    I don't know, I just gotta make it happen, somehow.
    But, one day.
    End of comment.
