My problem with Khazix is his passive says"I can go and pick a fight with you in your jungle and if your team doesn't rotate immediately, you will die.
This is how Kha and Rengar are built, it’s what makes their invades so scary, they deal so much front loaded burst damage that unless laners are aware prior to the invade it doesn’t matter if they attempt to rotate, you are going to die before they get the chance to react and rotate.

Play the junglers that aren't early game and you realize that kha zix is really just the top bully among all the bullies. Usually their champ is carrying them so hard they never consider you could be patching opposite to them to avoid the invade.
@@Phantaminium True but I’d say a good Lee Sin> a good Kha (and I’m a Kha main myself), early game junglers especially in high elo are just much more enabled to make plays and force leads, this is why stuff like Lee Sin, Elise and Rek’Sai, these champs that can gank and fight early on are so common and strong in higher elos. What you said is true though, unless you are playing something like ww, Xin, Lee Sin, Elise, Kha’Zix will body you.
To be fair camps can neutralize his passive & damage him
14:14 you know, making a League's Most beloved/respected champs sounds like a really cool idea, especially in terms of originality seeing how it seems like most content creators and players alike always talk about what they hate about champs rather than talking about what they love. so it seems like cool untapped potential for a video.
That's a great idea, that would be really cool to see.
I like this idea a lot; I feel like that is what Vars was hinting at at the end of the video. Tho his Perfectly Designed series technically talks about this

These are my personal favourite fair champions that don't make me feel like smashing my keyboard after dying to them. Probably because they have clear moments of weakness and they don't all rely on a million dashes and require considered methodical game play over spamming.

Not necessarily in that order but I sorta hate most of the other champions one way or another.

Except that giving health to adc's is way more valuable than giving health to someone like a tank , since they can lifesteal it back from a safe range and god help you if you don't have grievous wounds

Ngl my hatred towards Pyke it's more a playstyle thing than his ultimate. I reeeeeeeeeally despise the way that 90% of the laning phase he just keeps Q'ing you and dashing away until you're low enough to ult.
yea but u can use that to ur advantage aswell. If youre in ult range, 90% of Pyke players (me included) will jump on you even under turret, so if u got heal or flash u can outplay him. Or you ask for a supp thats not lux, and pyke gets countered lol. Tank supps counter him, enchanters counter him, so yea.
Yea I feel like the lack of risk is what makes him annoying in combination with the ult. If he misses you can't really punish him for it because he'll just run away and recover the majority of whatever damage you did to him.

as a pyke one trick, Alistar and or a Good Janna, can be the worst supports to deal with. While everyone will immediately default to morgana who is a good pick, her Q is also a glaring weakness, if she whiffs her q it could spell disaster for her, Her E stops CC but does NOT protect her from Pykes damage and ulti, and pyke legit could not care less about Morgs R. Shes a counter sure, but Alistar is the biggest issue he will ever have in lane everything he does will fuck up Pyke.
I honestly like having to play against evelyn since it forces my teammates to buy control words for once

Pykes ultimate will always reward his team with a total of 900 gold. If pyke get’s the final blow, he gets the gold from the kill + 1 cut and an ally also gains a cut. If the enemy dies before pykes ultimate lands he will get 2 cuts, while one of his teammates gets the final blow.
This is excluding the normal assist gold
It gives more for first blood, and less if the champion is worth less than 300
@@distraction2803 yeah I forgot to mention that the cuts give as much gold as the person is worth. I used the normal kill gold as an example :D
The fun thing about it is that it on paper looks super busted, like, woaah, 900g for a kill, but there needs to be a thing taken into consideration. Pyke's nice in the early game while super shitty in the late game and even worse when he doesn't get to hit the ultimate, since he's actually quite undertuned and the compensation for that much gold made is his lack of burst potential, since his only damaging and disengaging ability has a high cooldown (which used to be a fixed cooldown without any reduction from leveling up, hence people who played the champion a bit knew that W max was much better)
Also hitting the E is super difficult, because the delay on the stun is quite high and I think it could be also reduced by leveling the ability up, so pyke isn't super busted early on, but since you max E second, it would buff his mid-late game a bit more (even if people were to max E first, the scaling isn't super amazing and pyke support Q cooldown reduction from leveling up is far superior as you use the ability to engage first, since using E is super unsafe)
So yeah, laning vs pyke is annoying af, I personally think that his R should be reverted to pre 9.13, since there wasn't a clear reason to rework it back then and it made the champ even a bigger nightmare to balance out (the champ was under 50% for most of its existence) www.leagueofgraphs.com/en/champions/stats/pyke
And also as you can see, from the stats, Pyke mid has, according to winrate at least, been superior, because it has its own audience, own community of mains who utilize the champ so well - only 6.7% of all-time matches with pyke have been midlane

Evelynn is fine, IMO, because her entire kit revolves around stealth. Not like Akshan, who has Evelynn passive for literally no reason except that he can.

I agree. I won't lie, I do think Evelynn was extremely broken this season but I do think it's more to do with the players than the champ itself.
She is beyond weak lvl 1 and can barely fight most enemies lvl 3. Any form of CC that lasts for more than a second can basically guarantee a kill on her if she's caught out. Pinks do so much against her if you ward important areas and it's super hard to actually kill someone if an entire enemy team are clumped up.
I've lost several games where I've had over 10 kills but because the enemy positioned smartly I couldn't do much because they were all together and they would just cc me to death.
@@Darren-jt1mw all facts here, elise was also broken this season, but its not a problem with her kit, or anything, she just had good numbers and the meta swung in her favour. evelynn is good entirely because people dont ward enough, and if they do, they dont ward well. eve is an easy matchup if your team is co-ordinated enough
I think that Jhin isn´t hated, because he can never play mindlessly, even when hes fed. His strenghs become stronger as he gets kills but it never makes his weaknesses much smaller. Having more AS does not change the fact he has to reload, he must always wait for the enemy to get damaged before he roots them with his W, his R will do more damage but he still has to predict his enemies to hit them at least twice and so on.
Basically, he's more balanced than half the champions coming out today.... Cause being fed doesn't mean an insta-win unlike Irelia who just exists and wins.
I think it's an agency thing. Jhin has clear weaknesses, so regardless of how powerful he gets you still have a chance to outplay him by focusing his weaknesses. You're never stripped of agency just because someone on your team fed him.
Legitimately the most frustating thing about playing against Jhin is just his move speed. He's fast and will kite you if you let him! Other than that I dont mind the champion at all, and I think he's passive MS is totally fine. Jhin meta is a good meta, ADC is strong but not turbo carry run over every game.

Jhin is fun to play with, as and against. The most important reason is that everything he does is visually clear, hence it never feels unfair. There wasn't any laziness with his design. If he was designed the way hated Champs like Katarina and irellia were he wouldn't have a reload time, atk spd would work on him, he could spam out all 4 of his ult shots basically instantly, his w would be a harder to see and stun on its own.
I feel like any time Jhin kills me I think something like "dang they (the player) got me" or "I messed that up". Not word for word though.
I never had fun playing against a Jhin, but eh

Hated or not every champ and their unique play style have aspects of balance, gameplay, and more. Irelia isnt a champ she's a fucking tumor in my game

@@charmelos1431 Nah you can counterplay Yone playing an ADC or high range mage in the midlane. You just gotta play safe and wait for him to try and kill you, then waste all you have in killing him, and deny him CS.
Irelia and Akali are a damn nightmare because EVERYRHING is good for them to dash out to you. No escape, defensive tools, lots of damage with just 1 item. They shouldn't exist.

As a Sylas player, I'm kind of surprised that Sylas is never mentioned. I feel like it must be a huge slap in the face to get juked, and then stunned for it, and even if you're winning the trade, to have him W you and flip it around. This is not even mentioning hitting 6 before you and using you're own ult, sometimes even better than your character can, to kill you.
I also play a lot of Zoe. I might just be an asshole.

Sylas is legit pretty honest tho? He's very committal, which makes his playstyle inherently risky if he messes up. He is also very easy to blow up in teamfights cuz he has to go in for teamfight impact and ignite is rampant in the game.

I would say that I actually really like to play against Sylas. I still remember ganking a Sylas support with low health and he used his chains to pull me... He died by my Jaws of the Beast.
Sylas is fair tho, if you keep your cool and don't get trapped by him he is dead, so no biggie
cant hate quinn if you never play against one :)
I love playing Quinn and if you call your self a good top laner you should be able to beat a range top any time

Depends on the champion. If you don't have a reliable gap closer and Quinn keeps an eye out for banks the only tho g you can do is survive till mid game. Yeah I didn't lose lane but 10-15 m of no interaction sucks @@avakian_
@@avakian_ ah yes because it's not about being able to play the fucking game. Playing against ranged top is building dorans shield and using second wind so u can actually go for some Cs.
It's just so fun not being able to touch the first waves, giving up Cs and hoping to God that the wave pushes into u only to get poked under tower without the tower even shooting the ranged champ since ya know they can just get out of range after they fired their aa or ability.
Ur only hope is to getting ganked or getting enough Cs to rush tabis and hope to God they r missing half a brain to take them out. Really fun interactive gameplay. Rather have my aatrox vs fiora actually managing waves and abilities actually having interactions u know. Actually being allowed to play the game u know
@@avakian_ How can certain top laners beat Quinn (especially if they first pick)? The matchup is only winnable if quinn makes a mistake, short of that they often just don't play the game for 15/20 minutes and ping off Quinns roams (as if mid will ever listen).
It's a boring lane for a lot of matchups with no counterplay. Ultimately just bad game design.
Zoe not hated but I do get anxiety playing against her for the simple reason of one reason she can flash twice, sometime 3 times
Zoe is pretty hated but it's moreso due to her launch state and her W mechanics. I remember when she could get teleport from W minions and her Q applied passive damage so she could literally oneshot you from full HP with even if she wasn't fed. W is still pretty annoying today considering she gets extra summoner spells/ active item effects for existing.
@@sweetillusions5495 I know what you mean, but imo i think a few nerfs to zoes w were uneccesary. The tp was surely broken, but i loved getting redemption and to be honest. I woudl rather have less balloons then to get a freacking goredrinker before every fight. Cuz im an artillery burst mage and often if im so near to enemys i will die
Trust me, not even Yasuo was hated as much as Zoe on her launch. She was tuned down since then, but her release was some of most broken and unfair champions in game.
Not gonna lie, I don't realy care about Lulu's polimorf as mucha as her 400+ shield every 5 secs, it's like the enemy had a shield bow permanently, said that i love to play her to me she feels like the most impactfull enchantress in the game and i like to have my homies back
I feel like lulus power lays in her ability to boost up a carry so much like no one other does since she gives it shields speed health and hard cc plus polimorph, also she doesnt have important skillshots to hit so her skill ceiling is much lower than the one of a nami or janna with respectively bubbles and tornados
What I hate most about Lulu is anybody, and I mean just about anybody with 10 fingers, can come into an upwards of Diamond elo game, and you couldn't tell if this guy was a Lulu main or first time playing the game. This champ is so easy and unskilled, all her shit is point and click, while Lulu is strong af in early lane while scaling better than most other enchanters, probably only Sona and Seraphine can match Lulu's scaling.

@@stonelightning8d965 Enchanters are inherently coinflip and unskilled, but Lulu has just been the strongest enchanter by far since mid season 10 when Yuumi got a rework that actually gave the champ some sort of skill expression.
If you keep flipping a coin that gives you 55% chance to win, you will climb rank, this is how Lulu works imo.

The reason why we got Lulu Polymorph in the game is the same as why they kept fiddle point and click fear. To have something that reliably stops mobility of frustrating champs such as haha funny Katarina goes into all of my team 1v5 being 0/4 and getting a penta
Exactly, as a mage player I love lulu, because when a enemy pyke/kat gets a 2nd kill early, the game isn't literally over.
For me getting polimorphed by the enemy lulu is no biggie either, I wouldn't had the 82360 dashes to dodge a regular stun either in mid teamfight.
I never really felt any frustration with Eve, the rest I mostly agree with.
You just haven’t played against a good one lol, it’s nuts what she can do when she’s fed, pressure monster, I don’t think any other champ compares in terms of psychological advantage.
@@neveahphillips5610 I have played for over 10 years now, I've probably ran into a good one. They just don't stick as negatively because I find her easy to deal with. I find Yasuo's and Yone's much more frustrating.

The only people who “ hate”playing against Cassiopeia is high mobility champions. High Mobility champions are literally running rampant in this game so as a Cassiopeia main any person who complains about her ground and plays high mobility gets NO pity.
The ground is on a long cooldown too like...?? Ur out here playing Yasuo with his E and Irelia with her Q on a .5s cooldown complaining about cass lol
Please tell me how a illaoi can kill a Cassiopeia she has bonus movespeed she has 3 skillshots that are difficult to dodge if a champ has no mobility so please tell how a bruiser is going to kill her
@@charmelos1431 sadly cass counters illaoi. Illaoi doesn't have the right tools to counter her due to range and mobility.
Cass also absolutely melts beefy or tanky champions

I will say I used to think Jhin was fun an interesting to go against, but the stats provided by collector have been making it more and more frustrating to play against him... That's not really his fault tho, it's more collector's fault and how great of a synergy it is with Jhin (In terms of stat-line AND passive).
Jhin has broken multiple items and runes single-handedly many times before. People just really don't want to admit he's anything less than 100% perfect. He's a lot better designed than most of the garbage Riot puts out, but people should really stop pretending there aren't parts of him that are annoying and stupid(like that time he could just stack 4 IEs and 1 tap anyone while having nearly 1000 movespeed basically forever).

@@mason3111 What retard allows 4 IE? This is like me complaining about how broken a champ is while feeding them non-stop before actually trying after a 10-0 lead. Jhin isn’t 100 percent perfect but there’s always going to be stuff that’s BS and it’s damage with Jhin because AS is hindered by his reload and AP is not advised as his one ability is slow and requires a skill shot to connect 80 percent of the time. Without attack power, Jhin is a shitty gimmick that’s hindered by the number 4.
@@Predator20357 You must not have played then huh? He did juuuust fine before he got to the 4th IE, that wasn't even my point. His kit interacts with some items and runes throughout League's history in extremely broken and unhealthy ways. I never said Jhin was unfair, in fact I said the opposite, I just don't think he's as perfect as the community makes him out to be.
people buying control wards for evelyn shouldn't be the primary way to play against her you just ward the camps and can guess some of the rest since she is revealed during her clear, i feel like if people did this they wouldn't complain as much i think its more important than control wards.

There is a lot of examples how she can basically ignore doing camps, if she hit Lv6, plus in low elo, barely anyone does such things as warding her camps. Thats why I ban her, its annoying if your teammates get her fed and you lose the game, by no mistake of your own.
I used to play mid/top and and would die to so many ganks despite having decent (and often deep) vision. Once I switched to playing jungle I got a grasp on how different champs path through the jungle and it makes it so much easier to play around them.
Now when I see players die to obvious ganks and noob pathing from cheese champs that should have never worked I get a mix of feeling frustrated but also I have to remind myself not to flame since I used to be one of those players :D
Yeah but um regular wards in thst case will show u when she does camps. That only helps your jng as he knows where she is but she can clear blue then go bot or top and u would never know. All u know is that she took blue so yeah gj for knowing that but u don’t know if she’s going for a scutle for the drake or for say a mid gank. With other champs this strategy works better as knowing where kayn is for example will make it easy to know his pathing and therefore expect him plus when he ganks once he is on lane he is visible where as a good Evelynn will know how to charm from the right range that she only becomes visible when the charm can be proked. Evelynn is the unexpected and had the element of surprise. Plus my enemy jng can’t even counter jng me as i know how to stop that too and guess what the regular wards shows me in advance if kayn is going to my red where as his regular ward will show him I’m on his red once I start attacking buying me extra time to finish. For everyone who says Evelynn is easy she really ain’t easy but not too hard either. Plus like varus said there’s only so much space 6 controls wards can cover and plus when i see a control ward i stop the gank and i destroy it and pretend to walk away till my passive comes on again then i go for the gank again if possible but what’s the enemy gonna do if i find the control ward. Wow he knows i was bout to gank but now he’s scared and run away i got his control ward meaning that now my laner is safe as the enemy ran away :) and like i said if u decided to come back i can come back again too and this time u won’t see me ;)

After playing ~20 games of eve I can predict where she's at 70% of the time.
It's true I have no way of knowing for sure, and some really good eve's get creative in their pathing, but so many will go to gank a pushed up lane.
If you respect it you kill her power, and even better waste her time. It's the reason she's trash in pro play.

I´m not really sure, there are lots of people who throw a lot of shit at Xerath despite being only skillshots and conversly I´ve heard almost nothing but praise for Fiddlesticks despite him having a point and click fear.

@@mosesslippers6370 I'm not criticizing either of them. I think they are two of the best designed champions in this game. Fiddle's even my most played champion.
I find it pretty unfair to compare Evelynn's stealth with all those invisibility abilities. Evelynn is NEVER invisible, she's always just camouflaged and is revealed in a huge area around her (it's impossible for her to pass by an enemy in the river without being seen for example).
Stay in bushes or around corners instead of standing around in big areas where she can see you from afar and you'll be able to get easy surprise kills on her if you have good macro to know what she's likely doing. Also her laners' behavior can very often give her presence away, if they only walk up or start being aggressive when she's around. If you like playing mages mid I strongly recommend Lux and Cassio as both can react very fast to her and instantly put her in a very bad spot, be it Lux's Q (which will always cast and hit before Eve has the time to kill you) or Cassio's W.
Agreed. I hate going to gank a Cassio. It rarely ever bears fruit for me unless I somehow manage to hit my charm (rlly rare) or I use flash. If you f*ck up your combo you just get ran down too. Lux isn't too bad for me since most of the time they'll miss their skill shot or will die without me needing to charm them.
If I die to Jhin, it's because he was better than me. Better spacing, better skillshoting, better dodging, better use of vision, correct build for the game. Not overtuned or 200 years abilites make playing against him feel fair
Nah as a terrible player who has killed a lot of people on jhin, a shitty jhin player can definitely still kill you but that'll be all he does because he'll die 3 seconds later and it won't have been worth it lol

Well you will probably love Vex then ! Her passive applies a mark on champions that dashes near her and she can make the mark explode with auto attacks (like Lux's passive), her W is an AOE fear around herself, and her ult makes her dash towards an enemy hit and follows them throught their dash. So if someone instalocks a melee champion that's very mobile and you pick Vex the lane is mostly already won !

I’m a pyke main (who’s next highest mastery is blitz and thresh), but you’re definitly right about the feed or carry but when you are with your duo, it’s absolutely beautiful. Getting first blood or just an early kill at lvl 2 or 3 just sets you and your adc up for the game and his roam potential is just amazing.
His ult was also designed by an idiot.
The fact that his reset true damage execute also goes through shield is just unhealthy for the game.

Hey Vars! Great Vid (as always) So pretty neat idea for a future video could be to go over some fan-made champs and discuss whether those mechanics are good or not and whether they fit into the lol environment. And if not, how could they be adapted to fit. It would be neat to see you put your 'good-design' principles to action.
There is just something I really like about these discussion videos you always make. It's fun to listen to.
Jhin's w and ult are dodgeable and if he hits it then he has skill or he followed up to his support's cc there fore team coordination, his q is point click but doesn't do a ton of damage it is mostly used to increase the 4th auto missing health damage and you can see when he has his big bullet and his traps are not much by themselves but can set up to colourfull performances
to add: his Q can do a ton of damage ... when you stand behind 3 minions getting last hitted by it
If people hates jhin cause he has a long range **SKILL SHOT** Then thats more of a them problem

My thoughts of Evelynn as an Evelynn main is that riot saw one day that they need a new assasin and decided to take the idea of just a word assasin and make it into champion. Like she is a champ that goes in does most the dmg and goes back invis and whole point of her passiv is to be invisible
I'm a plat 2 cassio one trick, and I won't complain about cassio being on this list cause I agree she annoying af but she absolutely does not counter yasuo, and if you're a yasuo player saying that, no offense but either you're really low elo or just awful at yasuo cause against yasuo this matchup is absolutely favored towards him

Yea, a good Yasuo can easily play around her W in a 1v1, it's way more of a problem for him later in teamfights where a Cass W at the wrong time/place will instantly turn what would be a good engagement into instant death for you.
I'm not a cass player and I completely disagree with her being on this list.

As someone that is always looking for a reason to immerse myself in the numbers of League, I have run the numbers of just how much gold Lulu's buffs give to allies when all cast on them.
First thing, since Q and E are basically damage and shielding, they offer no calculatable gold value to anyone that they impact.
Now the other abilities:
Her passive can provide upwards of 117 (+15% AP) bonus damage "on-hit" providing 2925 (+375 per 100 AP) gold worth of on-hit.
Her W provides 35% attack speed which is 875 gold, as well as 30% (+5% per 100 AP) move speed, or 1185 (+197.5 per 100 AP) gold of percent move speed.
Finally her Ult gives 600 (+50% AP) bonus health, equaling 1602 (+113.5 per 100 AP) gold worth of health.
All this together, means that Lulu can buff any ally on her team with 6587 (+686 per 100 AP) gold worth in stats.

I used to be a Jinx main a few seasons ago and the only matchup I struggled with was against Jhin. He was (and still is) one of the most popular champs in the game, so naturally I hated him. Now I'm a mid laner and have a bit more respect for him,considering some of the newer ADCs exist.
On the subject of Kai’sa I remember being part of my university’s esports League team and filling in for our ADC for a game and I first picked Kai’sa and actually won.

In Wild Rift, Lulu’s polymorph is like a pickup that allies or enemies can walk over, and it polymorphs enemies and gives allies move speed and attack speed. I think this is a nice way of reworking her polymorph, and it makes her very useful but not broken
Well, I did the math for Lulu, and using stat conversions at 100% gold efficiency she gives MUCH more gold in stats than the 2000 you expected. She gives 7225 + 865.8 per 100 AP gold in stats to her carry 0_0. By far the largest contributor to this is Pix, who alone adds 2925 + 375 per 100 AP gold in on-hit magic damage.
I'd be down for a "How I would Rework" series if you need suggestions. I think that would be super interesting for the game design-oriented viewers, me included.

I loved these video's so far, it also gives a good insight to the mechanics of the champions so, I would very much like it if there was a part 3, not to mention also a most respected/loved champions series in contrast to this one. That way you remain neutral as well ^^.
If you fight an evelynn, forget warding your bushes with normal wards and ward her camps instead. That way you can see where she is and where she is going since her stealth takes a bit to kick in and she doesn't know you can see her.

Jhin's animations and attacks are clear, feels super fair to deal with him and if he wins the lane is because he or his support did it well.
Yasuo, Yi, Yone, Samira can do awful in early game but then they do a massive damage no matter if they are 2/10 o 10/2, feels super unfair.
Basicly you can't win against them, you can only prevent late game to arrive.
As a Lulu main, most people hate her because she's very good at denying assassins and most divers, aka, the champions played by the most spiteful people. Her poly doesn't stop Sett's W, Fiddle R, etc, so idk.

Champions like tahm and lulu only have the weakness of taking bad fights, being outnumbered, mispositioning, etc. I truly believe that a champion without any major weakness, like samira or whoever else, is worse than someone like rell. sure, she isnt played much, but she has huge lockdown and tank potential, yet she can be punished if she misses her knockup.
I mean as a Evelyn main, sure invisibility is awesome, but having to wait level 6 to be possible to do anything can be reallllllyyyyyyy hard when all junglers hard snowball

Another thing aside from control wards that help against people with stealth is that if you're in a Bush that they don't have vision in, you will see them first, and if you think about it, every champion that has stealth in their kits, don't really have much durability.

Tbh the fact that now Kaisa can only build crit is not a positive. One of the main points of the champ was her flexibility and the ability to go either full ap/ad or Hybrid. Now that they gutted the on hit build she just doesn't feel the same anymore

I think what makes Jhin feel fine is a matter of player agency. His moves, while powerful, are pretty telegraphed. So even if you die to them it usually feels like you had your chance to outplay him.
You can see when his 4th shot is ready. You can see the windup on his trap before it explodes, or even see him throw it behind him as he tries to run. You can see the grenade bounce. You can see the line aimed at you narrowing. You can see the large cone opening up to rain hell on you. Whenever he uses each of these abilities, it becomes a game of your positioning skill vs his aiming skill. So despite the fact he's rather powerful, he never really fully strips you of your agency.
Somebody like Samira, however, unless you hard cc her, which is a weakness literally every champ has, she will glide through that combo before exploding in the middle with a pentakill and there wasn't really much you can do about it. Not only is her main weakness a universal one, but she has a tool built-in to shut down that weakness.
Jhin is a champ who is powerful but reliant on contested skill between him and his target.
Most hated champs I think are reliant on the player controlling them making a slip-up, and if they don't, their targets are just boned.
This is coming from someone who does alright against Samira, as I'm good at respecting le distance. But even as someone who doesn't overtly struggle against her, the fact that my tactic to not feed her is "prioritize making sure I don't engage her post-6" is a bad sign xD
I think respected champs tend to generally have a way to outplay while engaging that they can't just simply press a button and get out of jail free, and survive them even if they get fed.
Master Q can fail every time he tries to gank my support ass but if midlane feeds him now I have to deal with someone who can literally decide I'm going to die, click on me to avoid my cc and then insta-kill me. There's no opportunity for me to outplay because HE DOESN'T EXIST ON THE RIFT WHILE HE'S KILLING ME. He's hated because there is literally nothing you can do to play against him once someone has slipped up against him.
Jhin? If Jhin is fed you can still CC him and burst him down and he'll die to 2-3 people prioritizing him. His ability to chunk and blast you is gonna be terrifying, as it should be since he's done well, but there's never really this "all hope is lost" feeling like when there's a fed Yi.
The weaknesses that you listed seem like they can be contributed to most other champs, even some of the ones listed in the video.
I think the reasoning behind lulu is primarily her W. I think if lulu had the choice between her current W and literally just summoner exhaust with her W's cooldown instead, she'd pick her current W.
Point/click CC with little to no cast-time and no way to interrupt the cast, combined with a poke/harass champion and a powerful disengage/followup ulti. Her harass is pretty minute, and the likes of alistar can pretty much outheal what damage she does do, but it's primarily just the get out of jail free card on her W, that you can't really play around.
I'd argue the same goes for morgana if she's built support, except her power budget is moreso in the harass/poke than it is in the disengage. However, priming something like Taric E only to have her use her E with no cast time, and basically give an ally olaf ult, are the main reasons these champs are some of the more banned supports.
It's not like they are overpowered in botlane at all either, if you have something like tristana she just goes in the second one of them whiffs a CC ability, or someone forces W out then you just go in afterwards, but it's just the little-to-no warning about the abilties, with no real way to play around them other than baiting them out and going while they're on cooldown.
Jhin has this "honourable conduct" feel to fighting him. You know when he's gonna body you, you know when you're going to body him. (Bar some skill diff here and there ofc)
honestly i don't see a lot of people who find pyke annoying or hate him. he has strong early game but hard falls off and becomes useless after 30 mins. and there are a billion dashes

Hes honestly my favourite matchup as i play sett or neeko and they can both drill pyke a new one. Only thing i hate is how much power he has in his ult , i would definetely get rid of the cd reset since he shouldnt be able to katarina...as a support , but shift that power for other stuff like more q dmg and faster reheal.
But now that vex also gets a pykestyle ult as a antidash mage i guess even his ult will be not as great anymore.

I think what makes a good champion is when they have simple abilities when you know exactly what each ability does and they aren't overloaded and are well telegraphed like Jhin Miss fortune Darius Syndra Lee sin etc there's loads of well designed champions that are fair to play against when you start adding crazy dashes, charms, point and click stuns l, projectile blocking, invisibility and untargetability it becomes hard to keep track of what that champions next move is or you straight up just can't fight back and that's what's frustrating and why some champs are so hated lol
i feel like with jhin the reason why he is so well respected is that all of his abilities are fairly easy to dodge, or atleast you KNOW they are coming. his traps, his "Jinx zap stun" and his R all give you lots of time to dodge or lets you KNOW it is coming. So when you die to any one of those you dont feel like the game did you dirty, but YOU got hit by his easily dodgeable things and that the death is on you and not the game.

I imagine one of the reasons why lulu is banned so often is that she is useful in and against pretty much any matchup, where as someone like braum can only really be played against a team consisting of a lot of projectile attacks

Renekton is also a manaless champ with point and click stun, dashes, aoe dmg and insane sustain. He can just spam abilities constanly for no cost.
With characters like Jhin it’s the fact that their power budget isn’t over inflated. In return for his insane damage potential he had very little escape and it’s why Gale force and Swiftness boots are so popular on him besides the other obvious stay bonuses. Samira, Katarina and Yasuo have insane mobility that isn’t limited to one use and also have insane dodge or block potential while also having insane damage numbers. They have everything when they are at their best while characters like Jhin will have insane damage it’s used to make up for his lack of mobility or defences as a whole. If your gonna make a character really good at one thing then you need to balance it out with a weakness.
Is there a good way to redesign Lulu's Polymorph to not be point-and-click without changing it's effects? Like, I don't think a single target skillshot would be good, because it can hit either allies or enemies. Maybe something like Qiyana Q that explodes? It might be even more annoying if it had any aoe at all, but maybe something like Bard Q? Idk, anyone have any good ideas for this?

I did a very basic calculation for the amount of gold value lulu gives in stats at level 6, just counting her w,e, and r, and got around 1800 gold worth of defensive and offensive base stats, not calculating her ap scaling at the time. Adding her passive damage adds around 45 magic damage per auto if all pixie missiles land on the target. I also looked it up and someone said that lulu gives around 5125 gold worth of stats at level 18, not sure on how accurate but it seems about correct based off her level 6 alone. (not counting runes as well)

As a Pyke main, I can definentally say that the psychological preassure is real lol. As pyke you are looking for every opportunity to strike or punish the enemy support or adc.
Sometimes i even just uses my W just to give the enemy supp with 0 mobility an anxiety attack, not even going in or repositionens, but simply to make the enemy not engage.
And yes, Pyke is very much a feast or famine champ. I have gone several games where i legit go anywhere from 15-18/0-3/17-20.
And sometimes i do poorly due to bad plays and mismanagement of my abilities. You have to play smart, due to your passive you are a litteral glasscanon, if the enemy catches you with your metaphorical pants down, you will be screwed if they know what they are doing.
But even in those games i can roam easily with mobility boots and empower my teammates by landing kills for them or by Giving them their Cut of Money.
Pyke is always looking for opportunites, and if you or your team makes those opportunities it isnt uncommon for you to be fullbuild at lv 13 or 14.
Honestly i just enjoys how he plays, used to play lots of thresh but i needed something else, and Pyke was that.

I love Eve only because I main her. It’s SO fun, walking around invisible anywhere. It makes league a lot less stressful.
But to play vs it, must be awful. Against an ADC a full combo is instant death. Once you have 2/3 items you don’t even need to do a full charm. It’s disgusting

I hate Kayn. More than any other champion. And when he was at below average power he wasn't terrible. But he has been broken going on almost 2 years now and they don't nerf him. His point click escape any situation ult is disgusting and his go through walls is so broken. Trying to ward against him is just as hard as Evelyn, twitch jg, or khazix if not harder. The fact he can either become nigh unkillable (with red Kayn) or highest burst champ in the game (with blue Kayn) while still having easy escapes and a point click zhonyas that does damage that dashes to a champion that does damage is insane.
While I understand your hatred against him, I have to disagree with him being broken. He isn't, if you are smart about playing against him, since there are multiple ways to counter him.
The first one being his crappy early game damage. Kayn isn't able to gank bruisers pre-form and also can't fight them in the jungle. They usually are to tanky and deal to much damage for him. This obviously changes if he gets his form, but thats your goal, preventing him from getting his form. His passive stacks upon damage dealt to champions meaning if he falls behind he gets it around 15 to in some cases 20 minutes. Simply pick Trundle, Nunu, Kha, etc and counter jungle him. Thats the counter junglers have.
For laners it's a bit more complicated, but he is actually the most predictable jungler there is. Right now he has two Keystones being Dark Harvest if you go assassin and conqueror if you go Rhaast. The Keystone will automatically show you who he is going to gank. If he has Dark Harvest he will gank every ranged champion, if he has conqueror he will gank every melee, since it isn't optimal to get the wrong form for the 4 minute delay.
In case you're an ADC main start learning Caitlyn as she is his biggest counter and forces him into going Blue Kayn even if Rhaast is the better option for the rest of her team. If he still goes Rhaast you can easily kite him with your abnormal range advantage.
There is also some misconception about his ult as you can still damage him while he flies to you, he is easy prey after exiting and poison, ignite and other tick damage still damages him in his ult. The most dangerous part about his ult is his bugs associated with it. Kayn mains are able to easly reset it's cooldown which is not intended and every reddit post and youtube comment about it is getting deleted. I've tried it in a custom game and you can easily use your ult around 3 times a fight (you only deal damage once, but you still become untargetable and can wait for your cooldowns to come up).
Hope this helps you in your future games and report Kayns who ult mutliple times a fight :)

I just did some quick search and apparently, Lulu ult gives 800/1200/1600 gold worth of stat WITHOUT the AP scaling.
Assuming you deny the enemy a full cannon wave every kill, it should give you ~2/3/4 kills of advantage.
As other champions also have their ult to offset that value, kills also give XP and priority besides gold, and the buff is temporary, the ult is not actually overpowered. Still, almost killing an ADC, hearing that goddamn laugh and next thing you know, that supposedly dead ADC just razed down your team is pretty painful.
I adore cass for countering high mobility champions

Biased Eve main, early that passive is all that keeps her from having to back immediately after a camp,
Q helps with her clear time. She also has to proc the q marks for the extra cd,
W takes time to reach the point where it would act as a void staff in which case you're probably squishy to begin with, not paying attention, didn't ward, or overextended. As Eve the best place for me to be is between you and YOUR tower/escape route so that when I hit W, you'll run straight toward me making it easier to proc the charm. On top of that, she kind of NEEDS to land it for her full damage. If she kills you without it, you were already low or she proc'd something.
Her ult isn't an execute. The mark means it'll do more damage because you're low hp. If anyone dies to it, it's most likely because she's fed, they were squishy, had no resistances, or in most cases not taking just the damage from her ult. I've definitely missed out on kills with it I for sure thought I had and got kills because of procs from other items/runes combined with it. My advice, and I hate to do this to myself, is to build a banshee's/Edge of Night /GA. Eve is an assassin and like most of them she's very bursty, but only if she can start her combo. If she can't proc her W or you do die and revive with a GA, she loses a lot of kill potential. At most she'll get another Q and E off again but her w will most likely be on cd and her E won't have had time to be empowered again.
I wouldn't say her kit is broken, but I would suggest trying out a defensive item every now and then if you see her.
But riftmaker isn’t meta for Cassiopeia. She desperately needs a mana mythic because even with the mana mythic and Seraphs embraces she can easily drain that mana in no time. But then again this is why you play control mages or artillery mages into Cassiopeia. She struggles hard against them since she is short range for a mage and if you can take away half her health while she can’t even touch you then what can she possibly do

wild rift lulu w is more ballanced, basically it turns into a bard shrine, the first champion walks on it will gain the steroid/polymorph effect, so you actually have to aim it instead of a point and click
Right before i watch this video, i play mid yasuo and try to do airblade, the tornado hits but when i try to do the combo my dash and ult cant be used, i though i was getting stunned, its not... Its grounded
