Alisa, you are the ray of sunshine in this world. Thank you so much for doing your informative and creative videos, I always get encouraged to sew something nice ☺️👍
Thank you! Exactly :) and I had that sweater for years now, and wear a lot and even when I was super pregnant, so lots of washing and wearing and that lined organza and jersey held up good together.
Wonderful video as always! I have been sewing for most of my life but am always coming across new things and ideas. Thank you for sharing your creativity and being "a light" in our currently tense world. ♥
Hi Alisa!! I totally enjoy your vlogs.. Your creativity is amazing, outstanding & your hacks are simple to understand & do.. Thanks again for everything you do & share.. Deeply appreciate it all…. 💜💜💜🧵🧵🧵
The shirt you are wearing in this video is gorgeous!!! I love how fancy yet casual it is. Raglan has always been my favorite style. I think I've only owned a couple in my lifetime but I'm thinking I'm going to have more when I draft a pattern (thanks to you) and start playing!! Great video! Thanks!
🤔🤔 Alisa I don't think I have 1 raglan sleeve shirt!!!😫 I live in AZ, and I just don't wear shirts like that. 😤 I am going to be on the look out for a shirt like that now. 🤭
You’re so cute love your accent you’re so sweet thanks so much for sharing and I have a question maybe an idea for a video for you? bought some African maxi dashiki skirts they’re one size fits most and the fabrics are really funky pretty sure they’re 100 % cotton they’re super wide on the bottom and I bought them with the intention of turning them into palazzo pants. There are videos on how to turn a maxi skirt into palazzo or boho pants that are super helpful and easy on one hand and on the other, I can’t figure out how or if I can make the legs a lot less wide than they would be with their methods shown without having to remove the waist band because I don’t want to lose any of the length at all I’m tall and want to wear them high waisted and have them be to the floor length or only slightly shorter with out having to make a real crotch but not even sure it’s all possible? I’d like to bring at least 1 in at the knee for an idea
Happy to send pictures of what I’m working with also they already have great pockets and I don’t know how to sew so keeping as little to do means less to get wrong please help? Thanks!
Rose, I have multiple raglan sleeve tutorials on the channel - go ahead and take a look by going to the "video" tab on my channel. You will be able to find your answer there.
Hello there! I already have videos that show how to do it and here's an official Cricut Channel that shows exactly how to do it - ua-cam.com/video/bv4eCDu3SzA/v-deo.html
Do you have any ideas for xl womens raglan sleeve tops where I can modify the middle back and middle back to fit loosely against my tummy and large hips?shall I look for a raglan sleeve top that I can cut apart?
No, just flare out side seams and that's it ;) very easy, you can see how I do it here, the video is for the dress but you will do the same for a top/shirt, just shorter - ua-cam.com/video/iC0T4jksqz0/v-deo.html

The raglan shape can also be converted into a peasant blouse or dress by expanding the body and sleeve patterns. This makes it even more versatile.
Can you show us your video making of making your Wedding Dress ?

As a child my mother made us blouses with raglan, I think they were called "angel tops" the neck and sleeves were wider and then gathered with elastic
